About TMG:
- TMG podcast is a podcast where comedians Cody Ko and Noel Miller talk to each other (it's a podcast).
Cody is now the type of person that surfs, drinks water out of cans, grows his hair out, and lives the van life type of person
I think the word you’re looking for is hippy
hippies/vanlife don't drink canned water tbh
@@jootuve5999 lol that’s a hell of a statement
Midlife crisis
eh he lived in Venice Beach for a while, I think deep down he was always that type of person
yall saying Cody became what he used to roast, but he was saying since the first that's cringe "I'm everything I make fun of" lmao
Poor people: live in vans
Middle class: live in house
Affluent people: *live in vans*
Made me think of that reddit thread, "Name something that's considered great if you're rich, but trashy if you're poor"
Poor people can hardly afford vans at this point because rich people buy the ones that have any potential and drive the prices up

Cody is the embodiment of “you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain”
if your former self can't roast your current self, you're not living
@@Noahskaterat123 oh no I completely agree, you can see how he’s really interested in new things and wants to try them. It’s just funny how he’s slowly turning into that “you.” guy

Cody attempting the 'van life' and then literally just sleeping in an apartment overnight, then napping in the van for an entire 3 hours, is the most Cody thing ever...
Noel is dying inside listening to Cody say how sick the vans are and his expressions are “I’ma have to make a video in the near future roasting Cody..” lol
OMG I AM FREAKING OUT
The fact that Cody surfs... has cleared up a lot for me
You didn’t know? He brings it up a lot hahaha
My ex wife and I lived in a 26’ rv for nine months. That’s one of the things that destroyed our marriage.

How
@@CluelessEngineer probably living in the rv
:)
Did you run her over
It's crazy to me that there's divorcees watching cody and noel
Noel really is on his way to becoming Vin Diesel's dad
dam, space-time really *IS* different. Their transformations into Dads are getting faster by the minute...
Living out of vans is for people without digestive issues
Agreed. I watch so many Van videos and some of them DONT HAVE TOILETS. LIKE HOW?
@@calci2679 damn thats wild
IMHO A “van life” setup would be awesome for vacation/work trips for Wildlife or nature photographers, but horrible for everyday living
I would totally get a short bus or a van and travel to a bunch of national parks, that would be amazing
Noel was not feeling it lol
Van life is good during that one picture in front of the beach drinking coffee. For the rest it is cramped, terrible when it rains heavily for days and days, hella awful in snow, and just... so limiting, especially if you want to travel to placrs with no infrastructure for RVs/tiny houses.
I enjoy it. My husband and I love it. I love having minimal things and being able to just be nomadic and go wherever we want. It’s definitely not for everybody but your experience isn’t everyone else’s 🤷♀️ it’s a hit or miss and also depends on the build you have.
Pimp my ride often didnt use the original car the person had, most of the time it was easier and safer to buy a new car and style that to look similar. Tavarish says the women who was on the van show he bought had a different make and model delivered to her at the end of the show
when they talked about families living in buses i thought about how my one of my grandpa's childhood "homes" was a converted mini school bus with 9 family members but then they showed that video of the beautifully furnished rv with the dog,,,, it's like oh that kinda bus living :0
Hahaa nooo I think that was still probably a little cramped.
Damn Cody is becoming what he makes fun of
Fair enough 🤙🤙
Really ?!
It's called domestication.
When did he make fun of people who live in vans?
he always has been 😔✊
i agree with Noel's style of choosing a well-performing off-road vehicle over a decorated van. driving up a mountain and camping during a storm sounds like so much fun
What's up Jake paulers

Lol I just got DMs because I’m the girl in the thumbnail. 👌🏼
Oh hey!!
Babies in vans also freak me out. A few months ago in my country a woman and her infant died on the road after the back door malfunctioned.
Poor people: live on the street
Well off people: live in a house
Frictionless people: live in a van
Many blessings,

you'll be living in a VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!
Back here again for Noel's thighs.

@@D-Man_Jam well what can I say, I'm a sussy baka.
We're building our van right now! It's great, but definitley agree you'll need some time when you do it, Cody! Creating content and running a business and trying to build it out is hard to figure out what to focus on most days!
dudes name is Cody he surfs, grows out his hair, and lives in a van
I live in oregon and have been considering this.
Me too, they raise our rent 9+% every year
"yea feet what, no"
To live in an RV year around and have it winterized and climatized for Canadian weather where I live in BC it cost too much and it's going to leak no matter what. You're going to have to pay to fix those leaks you're going to have to pay a lot of money for gas to heat your trailer. It's expensive and so many people put their time and literal life savings into revamping a trailer that they're planning to live in for the rest of their life but they just end up selling it a few years later
7:55 as some one who's into off roading and overlanding Noel and Cody talking about van life and overlanding kinda excites me
me too, ill be living in my van in a few months! hearing them mention the ioverlanders app made me get giddy :D
@@wrm0219 nice! My brother is almost done with his van. I got a jeep and I've got it set up for short offroad/ overlanding trips

My uncle was the guy who sold his house and bought an RV. Then he showed up at my dad’s house parked outside out of the blue 😂
i never thought that advance auto parts would sponsor content creators but you learn something new everyday 🤷🏾♀️
Just bought a van a couple months ago and am in the process of building it out
Same!
The upshort is REAL with this1
cody’s pants are dope
sorry but Cody was WAAAAAAAAAY off on those prices. 3k for a van and only 3k for the renovattions???? Bitch where??
noel needs to post asap

Or not
U happy now?
Your wish has been granted 😌
how is cody from spring bank and wasnt raised around camping and trailers.. sleeping in tents and trucks,, like sleeping in the bed of a truck is in our dna in that area wth
we need a noel x tavarish crossover please lmao
Cody’s like count is off the chart
Noel's hoodie is so frictionless
Vancouver!?
They have become the weirdos and I love it
Aye, love me some Tavarish. Car CZcams is where it’s at.
Where can i get that green candle with the face? I look at it every epidsode
Cody you sweet summer child, you don't need a campground to camp. I always avoid them. Find an old logging/NF road. You don't gotta park on the street.
Don't buy a van to travel, get a wrangler, 4Runner or Truck. You need that 4wd and durability trust me. Vans wont be jack. (You can hitch a camper or live out of your car, there's a great channel that lives out of their Wrangler it's sick)
Epic Family Road Trip does this
It depends on what you want to do. Most people don't want to haul a trailer everywhere they go or have that tiny amount of space and head room in the truck. Having a trailer instead of a van has totally different parking laws. RV parking isn't allowed at all in a lot of areas
The vans they're talking about are commercial cargo vans, they're extremely durable
You understimate just how durable vans actually are, most restored vans are retired FedEx delivery trucks. They can go hundreds of thousands of miles without a hitch. As far as 4x4 goes, unless you're doing crazy shit you won't need
this clip isnt in the episode where can I find it
Van life is super appealing when you think about it but in reality nothing goes correctly it’s cramped and a lot of Walmart parking lots no showers for days or weeks on ends brushing your teeth in gas stations and if it breaks down you don’t have anywhere to go while it’s getting worked on your house is in the shop too saying all that still definitely recommend cause the good can outway the bad if you are able to get comfortable with the uncomfortable!
Edit: spelling
Anyone have a link to the TikTok Cody mentioned at 9:34?
Make.a fast and furious roadtrip movie featuring Van Diesel
Seeing some of these comments saying: “Cody is becoming what he’s made fun of” like wtf u guys talking about? He’s talking about going camping essentially lmao.
isn't this space ship kinda like a camping van but on space?
Me and my friends take a wild camping trip every year. We carry all our gear, some water, food (40-50lbs each).
An axe, a shovel. We dig holes when we need to shit. We make a fire when we need to boil water to drink. It's the worst, it's hard. In the moment you accept it, there is no hard.
Sometimes you run out of dopamine before you run out of energy. You hike and soldier through images of demons, of bears ripping you apart. And then you soldier through some more. Until you reach safety, and can finally rest.
Oh but wait, you're thirsty from the 10 hour hike you just did, time to pitch the tent amongst a swarm mosquitos then go to a stream to collect water. Then collect dry wood to make a fire to boi the water to make it safe to drink before you can finally quench your thirst.
Finally as you take a sip, it's marred by the flavour of the cheap instant noodles you blue in the saucepan the night before.
Sounds sick tho
Why. What's the reasoning. It doesn't sound enjoyable
I know a couple that keeps selling their home and moving every few years. They have two kids and it legit concerns me on wondering how those kids will grow up being up-rooted every few years and moving somewhere else where they have to keep forming new relationships and quickly letting them go.
Doesn’t that morph a childs development??
Yeah man. They're probably gonna become pretty introverted because of it.
That’s how the military works tho dude that’s literally so many kids lmao
Eh, people adapt. I don’t think it’s a big deal. My dad was in the military when I was young. I lived in 5 different houses growing up and switched communities. You always make new friends and meet new people and now I really appreciate change every few years or so. Plus I feel like I have way more worldly experience than most of the people I meet and are more mature because of it. Plus, you get so much more perspective of the world and how different groups of people think vs. what people see through their TV. Especially since part of that time I lived in Germany and the other part in America. As you could imagine, most common people in Germany think very differently than most people in the US in some areas, and in other areas they think the same.
I feel like thats one of those things that, it will quite honestly depend on every single other factor in the kid's life. There are people that have never moved from the same 20 mile area, and they aren't necessarily more stable. It just depends on having a stable, loving, and healthy family relationship, since everyones in such close quarters.
So we hope the kids dont end up like, really creepy serial killers or form a weird cult. Optimism.
@@mongoose4960 that, and I feel like it also depends on the kid, too. My dad was air force, and i hate living in places for more that like, 4 years, but my sister loves that shes been in the same spot for 15+. I'm more introverted, she's an extrovert.
It influences who you are, but not always in a bad way. Just depends.
I may get into van life when I graduate just so I don't have to pay for rent in an apartment
overlanding is what you mean lmao
Cody and Noel do: building a winterbago

Lmao I legit just bought a van

Noel does not vibe with the van life lol.
Pimp my ride was actually pretty nefarious, they didnt buy the cars from those people, they actually made them sign contracts stating that they would never sell the car. The only way to sell it is to transfer ownership to someone else and have them sell it. They had to rip out a lot of the gimmicks they put in bc they werent legal on the road, but they didnt fix the car back to its original state, they just left you with a fucked up, gutted car
HAHA i remember that episode of pimp my ride
anybody got an ID on cody's pants lol?
I think Gabby Petito might have changed some of these things now
why the fuck did he say tinnitus like that lmao
alot of the pimp my ride modifications weren't street legal, so after the show they had to undo alot of stuff
Vans aren’t so sick now I guess
I was raised in a van
you ara all missing out on rich rebuilds and he;s only Vans account
A lot of people make fun of Van Life but it's a great way to expand your horizons and get to know yourself better. If you have the opportunity to do it, try it out! Plus not having to give 80% of your income to rent does wonders for your mental health.
I never went camping in my life, so van life seems kinda awesome tbh
