I'm curious, how many of these tricks can you land already?! And which one do you think looks the coolest?
Justin Lauria First video I've been able to land every trick, woohoo! Wrap around barely. I think standing rail stand flip looks coolest. Thanks Justin, keep 'em coming! 🤘🏄💨
Nice man! I almost fully agree with you, but there's just something about the nose stall to fakie caveman that makes me a little bit happier haha. Great to hear from you btw!
what shoes do you use?
i started skating around two moths ago, you are so inspiring, keep doing this type of videos.
Those are the Nike SB Dunk Highs! My second favorite shoe of all time, second to the Adio Kenny Anderson V2 which is no longer in production :(
They're designed like basketball shoes, so they have a good amount of padding and provide really good stability (near impossible to roll your ankle in these shoes). Drawbacks for some people: they're heavy and lack board-feel.
I'm so glad you picked up skateboarding! You're going to have a blast :) I will keep making videos like this (in fact, I'm working on one right now that is quite similar and it will be my next upload!) Peace out!
I think the nose stall is the best
Iv watched to many Braille tutorials
I expected him to say...
My name is Aaron Kyro I’m a sponsored skater from the san Fransisco Bay Area
Rockston Parker oh wow 😂
my name is *_ANDY KYRO_* and im a sponsored *_Bmx Er_* from the *_LA SveGAs_* area
Lmao
Lol
LMFAO YES
Dude when he said “my name is Justin Lauria” I really thought he was gonna follow with a “And I’m a professional skater from the San Francisco area”
I’ve seen other comments with the same experiences
Lol I think I got into the habit of saying my name at the start of my videos from watching Aaron 😂
NSI Skateboarding [Justin Lauria] when recording do you have to hold yourself back from saying the follow up?
Super original comment, you bore
Aaron kyro
I’m entering an actual depression because I can’t ollie. Everybody says it’s so easy and to be a real skater you have to ollie. And it’s not even the ollie it’s than I can pop up while on my board
D-damm Man U gud cuz like boi 👏 u ain’t the only one
Use skater trainers if you still haven’t learned it
I feel you ive been trying curb jumps but I literally can't land like my left foot always leaves the board before I leave and I hate it
I was kinda like that and than deadass landed my first one today, I recommend really focus on slamming the tail as hard as you can to practice the motion, because the tail flying up is what kicks the board in the air
Tbh, when i practiced ollies on concrete i fell 3 times so hard on my fricking ellbows, if you land incorrectly the board just rapidly flys away. How am I supposed to learn it without falling so often? I am stuck

Manuals are actually hard asf why are they on this list
Maybe because it's the most important thing for a beginner to first learn how to balance, to feel deck better. Training manuals is the way to feel more confident on a skateboard.
elDragonos yea that’s true
You will build core muscles better too.
Because it does not require an ollie
That's my first trick that I've learned
I skated for a year. And. Still a noob 🤣. But. I’ll try the tricks so I can improve. Gotta start some where
Exactly, man. Everyone makes progression look easier than it is on their social media or whatever, but it really does just take time/dedication. You got this!
Landed some?
Any progress?
It’s been 2 years now. Any better?
ive been skating for two years and just learned the frontside 180 LMAO
“No ollie required”
For this trick you should know how to kickflip
Ollie's are frickin scary man
And also yeah
@@dtarrant99 I mean when you start they can be scary, but after practicing hella you’ll get the hang of it. I’m good at ollies cause I started ollieing onto my driveway up a curb so I had to pop harder. So if you struggle try that lol
I think its cuz I'm learning on a cruiser board instead of like a definition skateboard
Whenever I try to get airborne I feel WILDLY out of control
Whenever I try to pick up my board like that, the nose hits my balls, lol.
lol
and i oop- 😌 i just hit my balls
Your a midget then lol
Haha mine to my leg
I wa going to get a slushee one day with my sis and the cross walk had the hand and I picked up my board and it hit my groin so fricking hard I fell to the ground
I'm noticing so many new skaters are obsessed with learning the ollie as their first trick. Some even want to get into skateboarding just so that they can ollie. Always good to learn some basic tricks first. When I first started skating in the mid 1980s, I wasn't even aware of the ollie. I started skating because it looked like fun, not to obsess over learning a particular trick. Ollies came later.
Who else does manuals on accident
David Hughes me lol instead of accidently eating shit God gifted me a manual for my daily bread lol
Me
Definitely me
Sometimes when I drop in do one
i do nose manuals by accident when i ollie and my foot goes to foward to the nose
“Should slid across the concrete” my cracked up asphalt roads said no 👁👄👁
I know your pain 😂
1:05 did I just hear a chicken?
lol
Lool
J31C _ IS THAT A CHICKEN
Put it on 0.25 speed
*THERES A CHICKEN IN THE BOARD*
Best Advice: Just learn an Ollie
👍🏻
not that hard 😂
I've been trying to ollie for a year 3 hours a day and still cant so...
@@theduckman8137 lemme guess ur trying on a carpet?
@@strawberrywigz1658 no actually, cement evertime
I was watching this at the park Whit all my volume up when he said the easiest tricks when you first start skate boarding

Nice video 👍 But we'll have to discuss the meaning of the word "beginner" 😁
Lol these are beginner, they can be all be figured out within a few hours by anyone who is comfortable riding around on their board. If you find these to be too hard just practice ridding around.
fluxx 😂
if you only just started skating, it will take you a while to be able to start learning simple tricks. I skated for around 4 months before I could do simple tricks, by beginner it means starting to learn tricks and comfortable cruising on the streets
These are tricks for people who are beginners at tricks.
If you are a " trying to stay on the damn board" - beginner, then maybe you are watching the wrong videos..
These tricks not that hard, just practice them if u want and you’ll get better
I watched an anime called "sk8 the infinity" which made me want to skateboard, I would recommend it to anyone who likes anime or skateboarding. If anyone wants to try skateboarding, u should, it feels like ur in a completely different world
Such a feeling of freedom 😊
Love your videos man really helping me get on the board everyday with my young son learning to ride together. Keep up the good work.
Reverts are next in my list
great video man. Trying to learn to skateboard as a new hobby and this video was really helpful!!
Well shoot man, that is awesome to hear! You picked the right sport, it's actually physically impossible to frown or be in a bad mood while riding a skateboard :p
Hell yeah it did I freaking love all the tricks u did
For anyone who sees this and can’t Ollie here’s some tips: first, don’t practice on concrete first. Find something that slows you down on landing but can still roll if you actively push the board. This will give you a better landing but still a semi-natural landing. I would recommend cutting open tennis balls and putting them on your wheels. Skater trainers are OK also but it makes you come to a dead stop, so wouldn’t really recommend. Also, be comfortable riding on your board. Board control is key. Then be able to jump on your board with a good landing. Then transition to the Ollie position and be able to jump from there. If you’re having trouble with sliding your foot up, first just jump with your front foot up first, then transition to a slide. Once you get it down then transition to concrete, then to rolling. Hope this helps!
Edit: also practice popping your tail, it will give your back wheel a little more encouraging (is that the right word?) to get air
Great tips! 🛹
I really like each one of his video’s because there is a lot of motivation! good job
Just started skating, got a board for Christmas and can't ollie yet so these are really helpful and made it look like I know what I'm doing when at the skatepark 😁😁🛹🛹
Such a great teacher.Explanations are easy and direct. Plus that he rides regular!
So glad to hear the positive feedback Nick! 💪 Thank you!
:o the revert looks cool, might go to a empty parking lot or some place were i have enough room to practice it!
THX!!! This is exacly what i needed🤗
You are incredibly informational thats why i just subscribed
I need to get back into skating
These are really cool, I'm going to start practicing these. My nephew is always wanting me to take him to the skate park so we can learn but he won't skateboard unless I am too. But I'm 26 and just starting out and it's so embarrassing! There are all these other adults who are really good and they skate all around and I don't know where we can practice without getting in their way. I keep telling him maybe I should get better by practicing elsewhere first -- our skateparks aren't as spacious as the one you filmed at and everyone seems to utilize every part of it. Probably parking lots and curbs would be better until I know what I'm doing. Idk, just gotta start riding more I guess
YES! Thank you for all this!!!
Great video!! all fun tricks✨
i haven't even started skating. I thought maybe i should research first
Can't wait to hear about your first week!
A moving wrap around is a
“strawberry milkshake”
no that's when you have your foot on the grip tape over the 2nd truck on the side and flip it
sophia colon You lost me lmaoo
@@whiteout475 with a strawberry milkshake you'd be standing perpendicular to your board, not parallel, and your back foot would be at the tail while your front foot would be on the other side of the board. but the motion's similar, just a slight difference in back foot position cause it'd be flat along the board instead of at 90 degrees like in a wraparound.
Congratulations bro...!...like ever the Best... all your tutorials are so cool.... good vibes 🤙
Thank sooo much this helped me alot
this is really helpful and believe it or not, p uplifting! ive never been too confident in my skills but ive already pulled off a few of these maneuvers without even knowing, and that makes me feel like ive already got a basis for more. thank u!
So stoked to hear that Becca! Think you can get all 10 by the end of the year? (and yes, that is a dare!)
@@NeverStopImprovingSB hmm! i've never been one to turn down a dare, so I'll take you up on that challenge!
So did you get all 10? And how are your skating skills now?
I really like your videos 👍
Thanks Martin!
Very exciting tricks, great tutorial!
Thanks very much FB, I hope you are having a fun and skate filled summer! :)

Thank you for this
I just found your channel and the quality is really good nice job man keep up the good work
Thanks so much!
Does it matter what wheels u use for the revert? because i cant seem to do it and im not sure if its my wheels
Its easier with harder wheels
i tried this today and i think the trick is to barely lift your tail up while scrapping it
Get as light on your feet while still maintaining your grip on the board and let your shoulders guide it. Hard wheels are better, too.
Yeah rubber wheels will grip really hard compared to hard wheels but it’s still possible
Nice profile pic
This is the video that uses the word beginners properly-ish

There are like no right handed people who ride regular : (
I always have to push mongo when I throwdown and now I can't do it the other way
exactly the same here :(
Dude my dad used to skate and he had the same problem, he taught me how to skate and he handed me a board and said here get on, (gets on the board with right foot forward) this is gonna be a loooooong day.
I am right handed and I ride regular.

I love skateboarding. During quarantine, i have nothing to do but binge watch yt videos. I wanna get off the darn phone, so I thought, watch videos on skateboarding! Maybe I’ll ask my mom to get me a skateboard! Guess what, i can do all of these tricks because I practiced. I love this. Its more fun than watching somebody living their live, while you can go outside and live your own. I encourage you all whom read this comment to go outside and do something else.
New sub🤙🏼
Wow very useful for biginer
I can ollie but these are just as fun and great practice. I would also add endovers to this cause theyre REALLY fun and low skill floor for anyone to learn with a little practice
