Yeeess!! OMG, this was so helpful. I bought a new 2023 330i last October and every time I watch your videos, I learn something new. This time it was the purpose of the "S" feature in the D/S mode, how to set up some shortcuts, and how to program the car to lock and unlock when I'm walking towards or away from it. So convenient! Also just programmed the car to have the side mirrors turn in each time I park. I love these tips and tricks videos. Thanks so much!!

I use my phone in comfort access mode. I haven’t taken a key out with me since I got the car. One less thing to carry.

Again I complement you. I know the Herb Chambers Organization very well. He is one hell of a dealer if he is still alive. Your latest video is great. I have one question. I have just taken delivery of a 2024 M440i Convertible. I was told to click my lock button three times and the car would start. That does not seem to work. Can you let me know if I have to tell the car in the setup to allow this to work. Thank you.
Couple things,
1. The vehicle has to have the feature. Which is Remote Engine Start.
2. You have to enable the feature by going into settings. CAR SETTINGS > SETTINGS > CLIMATE CONTROL SETTINGS > PRECONDITION/VENTILATION > Here you should see "Remote Engine Start".. just enable that.
Once it's on, then yes clicking lock 3x will start remote engine start. you can also do this from the mybmw app.
I’m glad my X5 is a 2023. I really hate that BMW is pushing everything into the touch screen. I prefer having physical buttons for climate control and drive modes.
Yup 2023 was a big seller for the X5s.
I wanna know everything about X5 50e M Sport towing, everything, additional equipment needs for the transmission etc., reasonable max towing capacity, anything you can think of, Jimmy
Owners manual would have the best details for those specific questions.

Please, I have a question about the bmw 320d touring. Some models have something similar to rails in the trunk. what is it for?
Some BMW's come with cargo HOOKS that can be plugged into those. The hooks are used to by hooked by bungie cord to strap down a item in the trunk so it doesn't shift around.
I really wanna see the cruise control system of x1 and automatic braking. Because I saw the guy x7 driving itself in mission impossible.
The X7 is going to have a more superior advanced cruise control system. The new ones have "highway assistant" which allows the x7 to travel up to 85 mph, completely hands free. The x1 as far as I remember, did not have this.

I can't decide, X5 50e M Sport Brooklyn Gray with as much chrome as possible including roof rails vs. M Sport Skyscraper Grey Metallic with as much chrome as possible including roof rails, oh and Upholstery - Coffee Sensafin and Trim - Fineline Open Pore Wood Trim, Jimmy
I personally love the brooklyn gray, stands out more and just has a better, cleaner road presence.

What is the difference between the D/B setting and the Efficiency mode?
Regular Drive / Brake Regen or 1 Pedal Mode, this is more for how the car drives in terms of the pedals.
Efficiency will do things like reduce climate control features, engage in more coasting, and de-sensitize the pedal feel.
Is there a way to adjust the side mirror when backing up because the passengers side mirror goes down to far when backing up?
Yes this is done through the side mirror selector switch, it's the small one near the window controls that has no picture and slides left and right. Switch it to the other direction.
@@BeamerView the mirror goes down to far when backing up. The question was anyway to adjust the mirror to far. I am looking at the pavement. Then if you use the switch it doesn’t more at all.
Please can you explain How can I cancel the speed limit? I own the new x6 2024 , and when the speed reaches 120km , it automatically low the speed .!
Yes on the steering wheel near the cruise control settings, there should be a button called LIM. You may just have to deactivate that.
What about idrive8 issue when using Navigation with carplay? BMW did not fix that issue despite so many promises including their own twits
What is the issue?
@@BeamerView when using Google maps or Waze with CarPlay the navigation completely way off, can show your car driving through the lake while you are obviously on the main road, or shows that you are driving in opposite direction or just doesn’t move at all. Just search in google idrive 8 navigation issues and you will see it. I am surprised that you are not aware of such common and big issue
what is d/L and when to use it?
L simply stands for low gear. You most likely have the new X1 if you have this. For the most part you'll never go into the L mode unless you're doing some off roading or going up and down a steep hill.

Hey man, about comfort access I’ve heard stuff about thief’s using some sort of device to replicate your car fob I think maybe it’s keyless mode, would you recommend still using this at are own risk or would it still be perfectly safe.
I'd go with what's crime rates are like around your area. I've been with BMW for about 4 years now and havne't heard of that happening. Even if they did, you could just use the app to track the car down, I'm sure the thieves know that too lol.
To do this the thief had to be able to scan your key. They can do this from a short distance away but it takes a little time. You should be safe walking away from your car but you should definitely keep your keys in a Faraday box or pouch when at home. I don't think they can scan your phone though
@@alanpriest5047 do you know about the digital key as well if they can do it with that or is it only the fob? I feel safe with the walk away feature but not so much with the whole keyless, but I’ll definitely invest in a faraday pouch.
