Silk Touch on a sword is actually borderline broken, you can use it to get cobwebs that you can place to make most mobs completely useless. It's actually kinda hilarious how good that strategy is, it makes most doomlike dungeons and battle towers a complete joke lmao

@@bbittercoffee They get slowed down significantly but some of the fastest mobs like the blighted Verdant Chupacabras can still get through a single cobweb quite easily... so just place 2 or 3 instead if you see them.

@@NekoKhris I think so, but using a sword with Silk Touch allows you to equip cobwebs off hand, meaning that you won't have cycle through your items constantly to place them and pick them up again. It also saves an inventory slot, which is very important for hoarders like me.
