for those of you who haven't played risk of rain before, basically, gasoline makes enemies blow up in flame when they die, setting nearby enemies on fire, and the more gasolines you have, the bigger the radius, so if you have 21 gasolines, you essentially set the entire map on fire and start a very lethal chain reaction

Anything after 20 minutes is usually purgatory material
Best build for hour in? Soul catalysts, icbm, and the lunar shells things, and disposable rockets. Automatic activation, kills lower cool down and the shells also lower cool down. Run around the circle and basically the whole map just has about 100 rockets flying around at a given moment. Works everytime.

you'll learn very quickly while playing ror2, no matter how many survivability items you have, the enemies WILL one shot you eventually
Unless you play the walking potted plant.
You technically canât be one shot. If you are above 90% health and take a ton of damage, you will always be at 10% of your max health
@@souptime23 Void enemey gets you to 10% health. You get 10 corruption stacks. You die.
@@souptime23 well, when I say 'one shot' I don't mean literally. It usually results in instant death from status effects, like fire or collapse.
Built into the game called one shot protection. As long as one hit would kill you it instead does 95% of your total health, example your shield and health are added into this and your shield needs to be at full (about 7 seconds) and this CD always happens if you get to full hp, much faster without shields. Does not count the yellow buff bar or over heal.

I had a run where I had about 80 items then used one of those altars that rerolls all your items and tries to stack them into one to two different items... and I got roughly 40 wisps. Suffice to say killing one enemy cleared the entire map.
That was, of course, until the *Scavenger* showed up.

The end of this video is just the average Risk of Rain experience, get hundred of items and be super OP, die in one hit out of nowhere, cope about it

Average run ends with around 80 items after killing mithrix, looping almost always ends when the game crashes
Unless through the power of 2 specific mods.
You can just theoretically, reload your recent Proper Save and do it all over again.

gasoline scales similarly to the will o' wisp, in both radius and damage, its incredibly powerful due to this. it's also affected by gas canister (although that should be pretty obvious)
fire damage also stacks on top of that, it just becomes a absolute clusterfuck of a chain reaction
Iâm pretty sure the âon fireâ debuff doesnât actually deal THAT much damage(unless you stack it to high hell) , but the initial damage doesâŠ.? Thatâs what it feels like anyway
Im pretty sure gascan stacks range and DURATION not damage, thats why mathematically wisp is stronger, wisp also isnt a dot as much as it is a bomb dealing the vast majority of the damage instantly (that is also why gascan NEEDS ignition tanks to be viable past stage 3)

â@@ryanbui2046on fire does very low damage but generally 1 or 2 "on fire" debuffs with just 1 gasoline is enough to take out small enemies, the small enemies then explode and cause exponentially scaling damage on everything nearby

something dies, and the framerate dies with it, also, fun idea for corupted gassolin can, slows and weakens enemys, and the ignision tanks corupted varient makes enemys with debuffs take damage
doing void fields to beat vodling is dumb, best way to get to vodling is to beat mithrix then pet a frog back at the spawn 10 times(10 lunar coins) and a portal will appear leading you straight to the boss

When more than 10% of your health is shields it stops working properly. Hopoo said they fixed it but people have tested it and it's no different.

3:15 void cratels are technically just void chests, the difference is that one is free and the other is a sacrefice shrine, so the cratel is more treated like a shrine than a chest, so they stay.
