The whole 'killing enemies sometimes spawns powerful enemies' thing is AIDs in the form of a game mechanic. You shouldn't randomly get punished for doing something you're supposed to do.
They should add random jumpscares even if he not mining or killing
RLCraft is the kinda game (modpack ok shut up) that will try, and succeed, to punish you for playing. You're straight up meant to cry about it xd

Im surprised he doesnt summon those darkling things. They stick to enemies and leech health faster than even bosses can kill.
They kill faster than aegis and are small enough to fit into 1 block holes. Not to mention they can scale walls, have great ai and move really fast. You can just easily wipe whole floors full of mobs from a small hole in the ground
I always use the Rats. Last time i played the Rats were bad in my opinion but i remember them beeing good cause theyre so small

Parasites/Thirst > Temperature imo. Thirst is already barely anything above a nuisance but with parasites id rather disable the whole mod, so i keep the parasite chance at 0 to mimic old rlcraft bucket etiquette. Temp seems pretty decent in 2.9, but I can totally understand turning it off
What did they change about temp?
@@ep1633 I can't say exactly, but Shivaxi replaced the old temperature mod (Tough as Nails) with their own one (Simple Difficulty) and a new UI to go along with it. I never played RLCraft myself before version 2.9 but I dont feel like I am suffering from temperature as often as the videos ive seen for older versions
@@warlic5413 IMO temp was a minor annoyance until you damn near/actually died from it in previous versions then it became a major annoyance. Of all the crazy shit going on on your screen you suffering from hypo/hyper thermia? Imagine fighing a geist or something similarly annoying only to look down and see you're also freezing to death.
Edit: I should also mention the temperature was super inconsistent you'd be freezing or burning to death in areas with nothing related to either (IE: Not in a snow biome or next to lava).

I was raiding a Dungeon. First time everything fine temp Was grey. I had a full inventory so i went back. 2.time i Was dying cause it was to hot . And Mobs ok be specefic the Rats debuff yeeted me out of the water . Shield broke . Early game temp is an ass. You need ozzy Liner

The temperature mod got a lil better but i still hate it, most of time it dont make sense how you start dying of hypothermia at desert at night on water like wtf man real deserts temperature goes down at night and some places that biomes divides you step on a block is a cold biome step in another is a hot one, but i still holding to not disable the mod just did a few config
I think that with the new update the temperature was revamped bcs of the substitution of the Tough as Nails with Simple Life, so it might make a little sense now

good video but RL craft has to be the worst modpack ever made. Not because it's hard. to be honest. it's just utterly unfair on the start but then just becomes easy as shit. It's a mess of puked gameplay changes mixed together none of them have anything to do with each other and are made compatible by forcing the mods to coexist like a hostage situation
Easy as shit you say go to lost cities with you "op armor" and see that armor is like leather fighting against golem armor and you get one shot even with golem armor full advanced prot
I guess that you just get to the "easy as sh*t" area when you have golem with full supreme prot 5, which happen to spawn every 10 years, so apart from the hardcore suffering part on the begining it just becomes a grind for the good stuff.
I personally play rlcraft a lot on my free time and I think that the point of having so many mods on it isn't to just fill up a number to surprise players, but to complete the experience, making it easier (or harder) or in general differentiated to progress through the game. I get that it's annoying on the start, but in the long run, it's a experience that forces you to adapt to the absurd and unfair set of the world in rlcraft, and in general become stronger by being clever and using all of the tools on your disposal.
An example of this is the weapons available. Most newbies aren't aware of the Spartans weaponry stuff, and just use a decent weapon after killing a dragon (which takes about 10-20 hrs of learning and playing), also only use the vanilla shield or the cobalt shield in case they find it. On the other hand, adept players will have different weapons to use depending on the situation they are at.
Overall the more you know about it, better.

yeah lol i need to see how to turn it off, temperature is so utterly frustrating, now even in plains biome and underground, im constantly burning, freezing my ass off all minecraft year long, lol I cannot believe such a frustrating mechanic
You need to go to the Config of the mod but it isnt tough as nails anymore it is a different mod now
@@bobob6128 yeah I tried to do that one and never worked lol but I def changed the way stone config so I could break them since I was getting literally 2 waystone spawns next to each other and parts of my map reset every time I reload my map so I decided to change that up, I finally got adapting linen so I'm good temp wise now, but def was a living hell to deal with temps, I think it's still broken tbh 😅
