This anime gets more hate then it deserves TBH. I recommend trying it out. Since all the "plot holes" "annoying/weird behavior that some characters exhibit" even the MC's odd/annoying actions are actually explained by the end of the anime (which the haters don't get to, thus judge it poorly). Trust me, everything that annoys you, or seems out of place, is meant to be that way. So if you can take it at least until they explain things, the action in this show is gloriously brutal, well choreographed, and has beautiful and smooth animation. The 13 episodes + Movie are worth your time if this kind of anime interests you (Watch the series first, *then* the movie). Also, unlike some would say, this show has *ZERO* relation to the "Blood+" series. You can watch them separately.

What are you asking? There was one season of Blood-C followed by a movie titled, "The Last Dark". The series was okay, but the movie really pulled everything together.

Blood C... easily one of the worst animes I have ever seen. I have heard the movies are better but Blood C has already muddied the water to much for me to ever try them.

Blood+ was the remake of Blood C if that was what was confusing you
Blood+ was released in 05' or 06'. Blood C was released in 2011. They are more or less related, but were not remakes or sequels.
