ah good old Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. a rare breed of comedy anime. you find alot of comedy anime sure but how many of those deal with dark humor. not many. but Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei does and it does it well.
I'm so glad I randomly clicked on this. This may have been out for 3 years now but this is my new favourite AMV of all time. I love the editing and I fucking love SZS.
The real story is overshadowed by a lot of politics and comedy. Read the last 10 chapters of the manga right after finishing the Anime. Then you will see all the small detail that they were hiding in the show by showing all the comedy and random things.
I looked at this and quickly thought "Shaft" so I looked it up and I was correct! Good Job Shaft you're going to make me love another one of your shows.
Guess what anime I need to rewatch ! This is got to be one of the very first anime series I watched and I didn't know ANYTHING back then. And it taught me quite a lot. Can't wait to watch them again along with the newest season I haven't watched yet !

•KΣIMI• Kekkai Sensen is the one who was taken the request to solve the mystery of what happened to the organ transplanters. The end basically tell you how he solve the problem: he married Kafuka (or all the students who were inflected by the weird disease) so this won’t be a social issue. I remember there’s a reporter wants to report Kekkai Sensen married all his students, but Kafuka inflected her so now she under her control. Also, I don’t remember where I saw this but Kekkai wasn’t Sensen’s real name......? I’m not sure is this canon
Watched this amv then went to read the anime's description. The summary I read is SUCH a contrast to what I can imagine coming from this anime LOL For those of you interested, here's the summary: "Itoshiki Nozomu is the world's most negative person. To his way of thinking, there is no hope or meaning in this existence. Even the three kanji of his name become the two-kanji word zetsubou, "despair", when compressed. What an ironic twist of fate, then, that he becomes teacher to a class containing his precise opposite, the invincibly positive-minded Fuura Kafuka."
lotsoninjas Upon first seeing this, I thought the main guy was like an exorcist or some religious guy that would help troubled or possessed girls with a bit of dark humor mixed in. Now that I'm in the middle of watching it I find the most amusement out of the fact the imagery can be taken so out of context from the actual plot of the episode xD
If you have watched the anime all of the way through, (or read the manga), then you would probably share my opinion that the video got creepy at second 1.
