This amv isn't just amazing because the editing is so well done (though it defo is) but also because it just manages to perfectly capture the essence of what Mob Psycho 100 is all about, a story of friendship and redemption and people who make mistakes trying to be better

these lyrics sound like they came from a person convincing themselves that all of their actions are justified because there is some reason. i know people who make their horns look like halos, or at least try to. if things aren't ok, admit they aren't and change. if you did something wrong, admit you are terrible and don't. if you are accused of doing something wrong and it isn't, learn to not care.
although that might be what it's meant to be, from the start of my second comment, to the end.

consider me another edgy "different" teenager for saying this, but your compassion here is for an animated character, and how it cried, a thing that all humans are able to do, do on a regular basis, and has happened many times on tv (including anime) in sadder moment than what mob psycho has ever had (still a good show) and just because you think of mob as the best boy of aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall of pop-culture and is sooooooo precious and innocent, that it matters more, good job quirky people, hope this is just an internet personality, because quirky people sound so annoying to talk to (says the edgy sounding teenager who thinks he knows everything about what a human being should be like at all times, am i right?), also it's 2 am, i can't sleep, and i have become very bored from the apocalypse putting me in my room for months straight, so you're just a subject to that i guess.

i think the song perfectly captures this anime, how mob just wants to be like everyone else but most people just see him for his powers and just wants to be sort of normal and respected
One thing about Mob Psycho 100 that I never realized before is that it could teach some people a lesson. We can point people to this show, or just make an example of Mobs psychic powers, and say "You wouldn't take depression lightly if it caused kids to rip apart buildings."
If we could show the damage done to the mind in phisical form no one would be able to ignore the damage they cause to others
Looking at American schools, I'd say that we'd not take it lightly, but also...

@@cesaroliveira1982 eh, speaking as someone who has dealt with both severe mental illness and severe physical disability, people don't take you seriously even when the damage your illness causes is very visible. they might show initial concern, but it doesn't take long for them to abandon because your illness is inconvenient to them. and that's not to mention the ableism and outright abuse you're more vulnerable to, even by "good" people.
To be fair, you wouldn't take lightly farts either if they caused kids to rip buildings apart.

I watched 1 episode of Mob pycho, and thought it was kind of boring so I didn't bother watching the rest of it. This AMV showed me that was a mistake. I'm totally going to go back and watch the whole series.

never base how an anime is off the first episode(unless its suuuuuper fuckin weird) Jojo didn't really kick off until like episode 3 or 4
same, i tried watching the first episode and i didnt like the art style at first and it seemed kinda boring to me so i stopped watching it. but recently my brother made me watch it with him and omg it is such an amazing anime!! (and i love the little one punch man references/easter eggs throughout the anime ^^)

I think that's the best AMV I've ever seen. It doesn't contain spoilers, you don't really know what to think of the characters since they're depicted with conflicting emotions, but it still shows you what a great anime Mob Psycho 100 is.
The character development in season 2 was amazing .
This AMV is what singlehandedly made me binge MP100, and that was one of the best decisions ever. The series is so great with everything it does, from acknowledging Mob’s power while still making him feel human. I desperately hope this gets a season 3, because there are quite a few scenes I really want to see animated like the final arc.

People like tsundre studios actually understand what it is to make an amv because each clip is put in a particular position that helps understand the song. And also the anime is just plain good.
Everyone wants a badass fight amv but this one just hits you right in the feels.
Mob Psycho 100 is my favorite show in the whole world. It means so so so much to me and I think I never saw a video capture the essence of a show more perfectly than this one. This is what MP100 is about.

When it seems like 90% of the music industry is love or bitter songs that you so desperately try to connect yourself and your favorite characters to, so much you learn to expect only breadcrumbs in each one, and then this song and editing comes along so perfectly fitting in EVERY way, every minute of it, every tune, and you're just so unprepared by it you just stare at it and cry not even halfway through.
Honestly this is one of the best amvs I have seen since it matches the anime perfectly and the song syncs with the video
I always felt like a monster whenever I lose control over my feelings and scare everyone. I always hated that part of me and tried to cover it with one thousand smiles, so I always had this unease and pain inside me, afraid of letting my feelings out, I never knew how to erase these unpleasant feelings. It looks like everything I needed was being told " It's alright, you're not a demon ". I've never expected to find it in a song but it really hit the deepest of my soul and broke every wall I build upon my feelings. Remembering the humility and kindness of Mob while hearing this song is the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long long time. Thank you a lot for making this masterpiece. I found it when I needed the most.

Mob spycho is one of the most wholesome show I watched

Still emotional about the transition at 1:26. This is such a good AMV... One of my favorites out of 10 years of AMVs. I come to it every week and I hope it stays up on here forever so I can keep coming back to it for that lil bit of joy and hope for my kinda shitty soul.

Jeez, credit to the creator of this...they really know this show for it what really is. And it isn't just edited randomly and placed to an unfitting song, since there are definitely AMVs guilty of that!! But they know this anime, and basically what the overall message of it is. Since it focuses on all these characters, at their worst and most shining moments. Which I think is beautifully done, since practically everyone in Mob psycho suffers from their own personal problems, and it usually tells their story and how they overcome it. It truly does bring the message home, that *you are the protagonist of your own life and your life is your own.* This anime is so great, and I'm glad people like the person who made this, are in the fandom.

I keep coming back to this video, I've never seen an amv that just tells the story in such a way that expresses not just Mobs side, but all the chracters and how he has experiences's with them.
It´s so beautiful... Every time I watch this AMV (minimum 2 times a week) i got tears in my eyes. It´s full of hope and depression. Of "sunrises" and sadness. A perfect AMV with perfect music! I love it so much! Thank you

I’ve been coming back to this video consistently since I’ve found it because the storytelling is flawless. It makes me cry and gives me shivers… honestly I really with there was a continuation of it for season 3 because it hits that damn hard.
I know this'll probably never be seen but this amv not only made me watch my favorite show ever but also showed me the song I listen to when I'm going through rough times since I tend to blame myself when things go wrong. If Reigen is 28 in present canon that means he was about 24 for when he met Mob and that really just means he was in no position to give life advice to anyone
It depends, some 20 year old people might have more life experience and they could get through more issues than some 40 year old who just work, sleep and watch tv and doesn't know what life looks like in nowadays for young people

I am floored by the song's editing choices seamlessly stitching together each character arc & the story (so far).
The first verse deals with Ritsu & Serizawa's unhealthy ways of dealing with their insecurities, ending with his brother's forgiveness/Mob's offer of friendship.
The second verse deals with Reigen & Teru. (Side petition for Reigen to adopt Teru please) They both adopt confident take charge personas to mask their real selves that are lonely and insecure until Mob came and brought change & colour into their lives.
But the bridge tackles Mob & Mogami perfectly. Mob without his support group could turn into Mogami yet there's still a deep seated fear that it will not be enough........
until the events of season 3.

I didn't even notice when I was watching the Mogami arc, but the screen narrows when Mob is in the dreamscape to further create the sense of pressure and loss of vision. Mogami arc keeps getting better and better
