Nice. I have that same case for my ROG Ally. I use it pretty much daily. So cool to play at my main rig half the time then pick back up progress on the Ally anywhere around the house. I do wish it came with a 32 GB option as I would probably have paid up to $100 extra for that upgrade as my main rig has 32 GB and ram has never been an issue.

Playing Fallbrook 4 on my rog ally in bed and on the go, runs great! Really loving handheld gaming on the ally!
Absolutely brilliant, i play this game on gpu memory set to AUTO, so it uses about 5gb vram a bit more, and zero stutters for me with the same present as here.

Next the video i said :D,all you have to do is go to nvidia control panel make some custom resolutions,set them 50 hz,and then enable vsync to on, for each game you want to test from nvidia control panel ,triple buffering,to on and low latency mode to on,i think on ultra uses more vram but slightly less input lag, but those are the settings if you got stuck figuring the settings out.what would players think in 2024 im super curious :D You can use a gpu like a 1060 6gb for the test.

I'm not sure why would you use 2x MSAA in 1080p when you would probably not see the difference on Ally screen, just standard TAA would be enough and even turning on FSR 2.2 Quality probably won't affect visuals.
MSAA 2x in this game is actually less intensive than TAA, and it comes on by default.
@@zWORMzGaming may be, but it also is more VRAM heavy as it renders game at higher resolution and as the game stutters it may actually help to disable it

Man, just go to that Asus app and settings. Just switch 4GB for GPU to Auto or 8GB. Very Eazy :)
They just install enaugh RAM and all is good just 16 GB is well little low 32 GB would have been a better idea!

Forza horizon 5 at 1440p max everything just maxes out my rx 6700xt vram all the time but it doesn't stutter but I got a warning once it was saying that it was utilizing 11670mb of vram just when I got in the game it's insane

i hope the new generation handhelds become better value in terms of price/performance
I guess maybe an amd 880m in future would be a good option for handhelds it would be alot better than buying a laptop for gaming when you’re going on a trip or or you’re too lazy to turn that damn pc on😂😂

Ignore 1650 test rx 580 in 2024 1650 is more expensive slower rx 580 is better and cheaper for 1650 is way worse than rx 580 in prize/peformance gpu ❤
Use taa in forza horizon 5 man imo everything else looks so much worse. Msaa 8x looks the same but is so much more intensive and dlaa is good but not as good as taa
