Michael John ANGEL workshop 2019

Maestro, Michael John Angel joined us to teach a workshop "Vermeer Master Study" in Yorkshire on the 21st of August to the 25th 2020.
We had 15 wonderful students join us to copy master paintings under instruction by MJ Angel. Under this instruction the 5 day Vermeer workshop taught control of the drawing whilst developing the colour through glazing techniques.

I would have loved to have attended this! I actually traveled to the Hague to see the girl in December. There is a fantastic documentary called Tim's Vermeer that shows how he used a camera obscura to create his paintings.
