    I've only paid with change a handful of times in the last 31 years, and that's when it took coins not notes! I've hoarded ALL my pocket change for 31 years, got many 5 gallon jugs full of pocket change!! The funny thing is, I wasn't a coin collector until this summer! So I've been having one heck of a good time going through these jugs and I'm not even close to being done!!
    Have a GREAT Day!!!

      Don't get rid of any of them, every time I turn around a new coin is collectable. I kept my change for 6 1/2 years till I retired.

      @@anitablades6033 I'm trying. I've got strike it rich with pocket change and I'm looking at the coins very carefully, because I'd love to be the first to find a new error! I'm not depending on info alone I'm trying to find anything out of place or unusual with each and every coin!!
      Thank You!!!

    I have a 2005 California struck on a 1998 type quarter the 1998 is extremely visible and still raised through quarter dollar on obverse side. The old D mint mark and new D mint mark both visible. Outline of Washington visible 1/5 rotated. All visible with naked eye and confined with microscope. Is this a common find

However , though much of it is there it is so subtle in comparison. Without your vid I most likely would have never made this wonderful discovery.Thank you Sir .

    Hey Blue ridge I've been watching your videos and last 6 months I've been watching them back to back to back. And I just got home it's late in Pennsylvania and I decided to use some of my stimulus money for perhaps buying a 2 cent coin that was on Etsy.. I realized it was much too risky to try to buy a coin of that date when I don't know nearly enough information to properly purchase a two cent piece to accurately assess the pictures on the internet if a coin is real or counterfeit yet... I digress, my point is I had this particular video saved in my queue for tonight it is March 22nd 2021 and there were two coins from last night sitting on my table, and I slid into some fresh gloves, and you're rounding out to the end of the video and the two coins are a 1982 quarter and a 2000 Massachusetts quarter that looks pretty beat up and it looks just like you the background of your voice is telling your reader about the most unusual quarter that you have found in state quarters,... Meanwhile I pull out the Jewel loop and magnified that's what I thought was mistaken 30 coin change because it wasn't with all the coins that I've been looking through that my Grandpop Cherry picked and his grandpa before him, lo and behold like a calling out to me to pay attention hear you speaking through the TV Chromecasting and I hold up this 2000 quarter and dude I need you to look at this coin it is remarkably a lot like the 1999 underlay with a overlay of a 2000 Massachusetts coin now I'm not exactly sure on the specifics but it is definitely worth you having a look at.. because at first glance as you say it was definitely not one that I thought to give any time assessing value for (ALAS THE TYPICAL MISTAKE FROM THOUSANDS OF CHERRY PICKERS AND COIN LOVERS EVERYWHERE TO WHICH YOU SAY AGAIN AND AGAIN.... IT WOULD BE WORTH TAKING AN EXTRA LOOK AT!!) HOW WOULD I GET TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS COIN FOR YOU TO HAVE A BETTER GLANCE AT? BECAUSE I AM NOT ONE WHO COMMENTS ON VIDEOS EVEN THOUGH I'VE BEEN WATCHING THEM FOREVER, AND I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON SOMETHING THAT I WOULDN'T EVEN WASTE MY TIME ON EITHER IF I DIDN'T BELIEVE THAT I COULD USE YOUR EXPERTISE TO CHECK THIS ONE OUT!

    • @arianwagner7932
      @arianwagner7932 Před 3 lety +2

    Blue Ridge, I've got a question. When they first started making the state quarters there was a recall on the Pennsylvania quarter. I watched it on the local broadcast for CBS. They were recalling the quarter because the reverse side of the coin was upside down. Do you have any info on this?
    **Dummy me had 2 of them when they were first issued!!**
    I thought it was very strange that the flip side was upside down. Being it was the new coins i thought they were just going to make all of them that way...AND I SPENT them!! I later heard that one had sold for $50,000!! Do you know about this? Have you ever come across an example?
    Love your channel! You always keep me looking for that next nugget!

    I have overlooked coins too that I have found out about here on your channel...later. But I have a state quarter with an error that I have had for awhile and I think it’s one of a kind. Hopefully if I send a pic you can look at it.
    Thanks for your videos! They’re invaluable.

    And youll be looking for ever for an error one also, not dvery 2000 is error, maybe 1 out of s million, these guys akways firget to mention that every coin they show your must be in greater condition or better and sent in and graded before you could get any kinda good money for any coin... these guys make it seem like its everyday pocket change... every coin people... i have a canadian 1936dot penny and unless i pay good money to have it sent in and graded by PCGS its only worth a penny
