Nice walk around .. We just traded our 150R for a 230F.. the 150 r was great on the track and that's it .. over heating problems limit the 150r to the track ..but this 230 is perfect and is bullet proof with little maintenance! Lots of low end torque and plenty of power on the high end .. No kick start ,drum brake on the back and the low rise handle bars are the only things I don't like . If you stand up alot while riding ,you'll want to get taller handle bars..we did a aftermarket air filter and exahst and changed the keys on the carb to 25 and 40 on the main jet to compensate for more air and less back pressure ..never change the exahst or air intake without rejetting the carb ,you will wipe out your valves or cam ..but all and all I give this bike an A ..we love it ,for an everyday use and trail bike ..we don't miss changing the oil every 10 hrs of riding on the 150 r at all !!!
Ahh I wish I got this bike. I am 6 feet 2 inches and I weigh almost 170 now and I ride a 16 CRF150F lol. I like it but I honestly would've liked this one a lot better for sure. Awesome bike man!
my friend might be selling me one, and i cant find neutral. every click up or down feels the same, where as my cr85 will have a stiffer feel at the top of fourth and bottom of first. do you know why?
301Bassin it's prob a lil late now but this bike is a little bit harder to find neutral compared to my grom but it has a hardness when trying to shift down when in first or trying to shift up when in 6th.
Please read as much as you can and learn as much as you can about riding before you go out riding this bike or any bike for that matter. I can tell by watching this that you are new to riding and motorcycles and to fault you for that would be wrong. Everyone once started off as a noob. All I'm saying is that if you learn as much as you can while your still young your chances of getting seriously hurt or injured will greatly decrease. I had a 2003 CRF230F as my first dirtbike and that is the bike I learned how to really ride on. It was a very fun bike and I beat the living piss out of it for awhile and it survived. Just keep an eye on that oil level because I didn't and ended up replacing the piston and had to have the cylinder bored out because I seized it up while riding one day. also I heard you mention which oil you are using... DO NOT USE REGULAR CAR ENGINE OIL IN THIS BIKE. It uses a wet clutch design and if you try to use regular car oil you will go nowhere and just get lots of slippedge. Also you may want to remove that Baffle inside the pipe on your exhaust. Just the small one inside the chrome cap. not the entire cap. This really wakes up the bike and gets those exhaust tempuratures lower and get better flow. Trust me you want to do this and leave it this way. your neighbors might hate you for it but you will not regret it when it comes to performance gain.
Jake Fraser Im not sure how the new ones are but there is a set screw in the bottom of the exhaust tip that once taken out it lets you pull the inner baffle out. sound and performance are a lot better with it out
I want this bike so bad how tall are you I'm 6ft now and weigh about 130 lbs I'm very light for my age i just wanted to know can you plant you feet on the ground when you stop? And does it have traction on wet ground?
This bike would work great for you then because I am nit quite 6 foot and weigh less than you and its good for me maybe because the seat sits at 34.1 inches tall not sitting on it. Ive had lots of muddy weather too lately so yes it had worked great for mud traction for me. I hope I gave you the information you were looking for.
Hay dude I'm 5 feet and I can touch fully with my right foot on the ground barely leaning over on my dads 2012 Honda 230. So I think your tall enough for being 6ft
kiddeath921 I bought this bike and its fun as hell! I'm 5'4 and i have a little trouble touching the ground but I lowered it a little and its fine. Also, I put on the FMF power core and it made a HUGE difference. I cant remember what jet I put in, but it took a couple tries. I definitely recommend this bike! Its super fun!
U just said its brand new which means you have not broke it in yet or even rode it so how in the hell can you rate it right now btw the 230 are bulletproof
230's are the largest of a fun bike when you get higher than that your getting into fast/racing bike that learner's can't handle so if you're a learner around 12 and up depending on your height really that's the kind of bike you want
currymusical The chrome part is the baffle/ spark arrestor. It is screwed into the muffler. On a two stroke its called a silencer but its widely accepted that on a four stroke its called a muffler. Not trying to be a smartass but something to add.
If you ride dirtbikes too I'd just say go with a mx bike because your going to get bored with a trail bike. trails bikes are really just gotl have a little fun and ride it for a bit, but get a 250 if you want to go to the track
Hes just a kid. Hes proud of his new bike. Give him a break.
Nice walk around ..

Whats the oil change interval on these 230f?
just bought a 2015 230f and love it! I'm 5'1 so we had to lower it quite a bit and I still can only tippy toe it, but i love it!
I like the 6 speed and how do ya still have stock handlebars and levers. Took mine out first time and it's done, I've got a crash comp on my channel.
Im 24 years old and I love my 2019 230
Ahh I wish I got this bike. I am 6 feet 2 inches and I weigh almost 170 now and I ride a 16 CRF150F lol. I like it but I honestly would've liked this one a lot better for sure. Awesome bike man!
nchondakid I'm 6'4 and I ride a CRF125F lol but this is probably gonna be the next bike I get
"This sprocket thingy here" "nice ohc engine parts"
"pretty nice chain. Ive seen better" think the chain guide is for stopping rocks.
I would take the spark arrestor and snorkel and rejet the carburetor. It makes a big difference in power and it sounds a lot less restricted.
Have you ever speed tested it?
You don't need to turn your key off. I have an 06 230 and I always got my key on and it don't burn my battery.
The spark arrestor is there to prevent forest fires not to prevent your bike from damage.
Pretty good chan
Hey mate good video just try not to miss inform people but it's all good
Great lil bikes them,
Change oil as often as possible,
Clean air filter regular. . An it will last for years
Nice ohc engine parts

Why is everyone in the comments taking him serously, it clearly says its a parody in the title of the video
BOPPE it never used to say that, I think it's a cover up lmao
Thanks
Anyone else catch that he said 350 at the end??!
yep
The screw thing 👌

Chris Servoss hey man I just gotta Crf230f for Chrissy and can you explain to me about removing the baffle out of the exhaust please?
Jake Fraser Im not sure how the new ones are but there is a set screw in the bottom of the exhaust tip that once taken out it lets you pull the inner baffle out. sound and performance are a lot better with it out
Chris Servoss thank you for replying, I appreciate the help. And imma go check my bike out later thanks 👍
Can the key come out or does it just stay there all the time?
It comes out haha

Kristen Gannon dam now i want it even more :(
U just said its brand new which means you have not broke it in yet or even rode it so how in the hell can you rate it right now btw the 230 are bulletproof
that's the main reason I own one, it's unbreakable. gotta give a thumbs up to honda on this one
I have a kx125 love it idk why they make a 230 lol id just get a 250 i rode a 230 before its fun but not my style im more of a 2stroke fan myself
230's are the largest of a fun bike when you get higher than that your getting into fast/racing bike that learner's can't handle so if you're a learner around 12 and up depending on your height really that's the kind of bike you want
a moto de enduro mais vendida do Brasil
If I'm 5'8 will this bike be comfortable for me I also weigh 200 lb
It might feel a little tall for a little while, but since it is not a kickstart you should be fine.
Colby Britten I'm 5'5 and I ride it just fine, the only thing stopping me is how much of a noob I am at riding off-road
Top o canal, passa lá da aquela fortalecida no canal, grande abraco. Só sucesso aí ✌️✊

This is a descent video. Ignore the haters
Ue '-' essa não e a Brasileira?
That's the silencer not the spark arrester. The "filter" he talks about is the spark arrester.
currymusical The chrome part is the baffle/ spark arrestor. It is screwed into the muffler. On a two stroke its called a silencer but its widely accepted that on a four stroke its called a muffler. Not trying to be a smartass but something to add.
how fast dous this bike goes?
There is a lot of factors that can change the speed, but I would say about 65 mph
MotocrossMan 2294 thnx
+Jaro Van San my friend has a thermomitor or what ever its called aand i went about 70 mph
Get a crf150r my 150 could wax your 230 not talking crap but 150 is a better bike for power and speed
+Motor Man Maddness Thermometer is for measuring temperature.... speedometer is for speed
I been riding quads my whole life, so someone with dirtbike knowledge tell me if this is a good bike. I'm 6'1 150lbs yea I'm a stick.
If you ride dirtbikes too I'd just say go with a mx bike because your going to get bored with a trail bike. trails bikes are really just gotl have a little fun and ride it for a bit, but get a 250 if you want to go to the track
