Probably the saddest of them all. It would be amazing if he'll make one with Raditz standing alone in the otherworld while it's raining. He is recalling the warm memories of his childhood. Bardock's neglection and Gine's love. Also he admits that he enjoyed the time he had with his little brother back home.
Hercule had a difficult life, but loved his wife and daughter so much. He went one more round in the World Tournament with Buu and went out a happy man, with honor and in his own way. Used no Dragon Balls, just the strength he had developed over the years.

This one hit differently... it hit differently for a personal reason. I started seeing this girl and she told me that she dealt with cancer 10 years ago... seeing Lucia's final moments... reminded me of that photo she showed me... she looked so tired and yet so beautiful. I hope we're together for as long as possible. Thank you Rising for this incredible story for the champ.

Everyone has that one person in their life that really makes a difference. For Majin Buu, it was Hercule. Babidi put Buu on the wrong path for his own selfish gains. Hercule taught him that there was more to life than causing death and destruction. Buu learned that he can choose a path for himself- one that isn't predetermined by another.

When Hercule mentioned he would be a fraud if he used the Dragon Balls to come back given he was a martial artist all his life even when he had no true powers like the others, it seems he had true purpose and principles in the end, makes for an amazing ending to an amazing story
This is an end fit for Hercule, he is truly a champ and a good man.
No Hercule's a clown and a showman but in the end he proved himself to be a true champion.

Mr. Satan finally used ki at a basic level. I'm very proud of him.
It wasn't just ki. Look at the glow. For just a second...he touched Ultra Instinct. He touched the peak of what it meant to be a Marital Artist and a warrior. He became the World's Strongest in truth for just one glowing moment. He touched the realm of the Gods themselves...and all to show those he cared about that he was worth the love they gave him. He died a man among men.

This is totally what the Dragon Ball Universe needs. There's so much that they leave out or don't get into when it comes to a character's origin or other side stories.
Fr this could have been a full length movie.
At least in his final moments, he did become the strongest man in the Universe, even if it was for a second, even if it cost him his life. He shows everyone that he was not a failure but a true Champion. Mr. Satan has my respects.

I'd be a liar if I said this didn't make me shed a tear near the end. This definitely got me emotional. Stellar voice acting by the way. In particular the voice actor for Buu sounds just like Josh Martin. So spot on. This video was spectacular. It really tore at my heart. I won't forget this video that's for sure. Much thanks to all the people that made this superb video feasible. You all rule.
This story is really touching to know about Satan's past, and how he met his wife, It's nice that we finally get to meet Videl's Mother.

At this point every story you make is cannon.
I just realized, Buu saying that Hercule's punch was the hardest he has taken was more psychological than physically. In raw strength, Goku definitely hits harder than Hercule, we all know that. But for Buu, it symbolized that Hercule had given his all for it, even at the cost of his life. Buu knew Hercule was going to die, so it was the hardest thing for him to come to terms with the fact he would be without his best friend. The punch is the last thing to remember him by, and that's hard to take.
This is a powerful video. Not only was this Hercule trying to prove to himself he's not a fake, but he's passing on the torch. This...this is how it really should end

Out of the extensive roster of Toriyama's colorful cast of characters, Mr. Satan was easily the one we misjudged the most when it came to the contents of his spirit. He was a true human with no ki, no energy blasts, nor any special gimmicks or powers. But out of a series known for its characters' ability to transform, the most dramatic transformation came from Mr. Satan himself. From the arrogant blowhard and joke character that we first met in the Cell Saga to the man who united the planet against Kid Buu, he has gone through quite the extensive change. You gave him the backstory that he deserved, flawlessly incorporating elements from official canon - such as his history with Tao - with your own signature humanist take on life to deliver yet another brutally honest and heartwarming original story.
Mr. Satan's story was always one of redemption: from his own shameful actions to taming the cosmic monster Majin Buu, Hercule Satan showed that his compassion was his greatest strength. You captured the essence of who he was and who he became to a T: generous, self-conscious, courageous, matter-of-fact, charmingly oafish, philanthropic, compassionate, and family-oriented. Hercule Satan remains one of the most brilliantly-written characters in Dragon Ball, and that is a legacy you have honored magnificently.
The insight into Videl's mother and her affect on Mr. Satan's personality and development was a particularly rewarding series of moments. We never really got any details on who brought our favorite pig-tailed pugilist into the world, and working in the name Lucia in reference to Lucifer keeps the devil-themed naming scheme of their family alive and let the audience know immediately what Lucia was to Hercule: his light-bringer. She brought him nothing but joy, a sense of belonging, and family, which Mr. Satan is shown in official material to prize above all else as a loving and doting father and grandfather. I especially loved how you depicted her with the gloves and gold hair clasps that Videl debuted in the manga and anime with, adding a sense of significance to her character design and personal history. And showing how Hercule and Lucia connected displayed his signature oafish and grounded charm not only endearingly, but accurately.

Mr. Satan has always been one of the best characters in all of Dragonball and all of the haters of the character just don't get it.
Akira Toriyama has never been the best at characterizations but Mr Satan was one of his most fully realized and developed characters. He was parody of fake and fraudulent western wrestlers but who rose to the occasion when the world needed it.

One word. Yamcha. He’ll have the saddest by far, no hesitation. Why? Cause his life is already sad as fuck. No one but Puar is gonna care enough when he dies.
Edit: Okay, maybe I underestimated yamcha. I’m just so used to Him being the laughing stock of dbz that I didn’t exactly think about it.
It's bad to call that his life is sad if He ( Yamcha) doesn't see it as you. He knew he was not the best partner for Bulma and maybe in the end Puar is the real partner for him. We do not know every detail of his life, that is why every fan manga or story adds more details to every character's life and make it more important.
I feel like tien will have the saddest one. Atleast people remember yamcha and he spent the rest of his life happy as a professional baseball player. He even played in a base ball game basically betwen gods, got in the middle of them while they were arguing and survived (keep in mind just a normal sneeze from these guys is enough to blow up a moon) so I'd say yamcha is decently happy with his life. Meanwhile heres tien, one of the only humans that never stopped training, and yet he some how manages to become weaker than not only krillin who stopped training for a while, but was bodied by roshi who stopped fighting back in z and from what we know hasn't been training at all. While yes he was invited to the tournament of power goku genuinely didn't think of him but instead came for roshi *the same guy we haven't seen fought or heard has trained since og dragon ball.* the mans gotta be a bit depressed when it comes to where his life went, from being one if the strongest people on earth with op techniques to not even being the strongest human on the planet.
@@cameramanouter you are right in specific spots but it's like we see a talk show where celebrities open up their lifes. We don't know every detail of their life and how they honesty felt every experience. So till the last moments of every character the author as a god has the right to effect it.
@@cameramanouter Roshi did off screen training for years apparently going by the anime. Also please remember both the anime and manga are different especially when it comes to how strong characters are.

This is one to remember! This is a spectacle that i can never forget. Mr. Satan has always be misjudged, i believe this story gives him the right development that DBS missed on. An outcast in a family of superhuman fighters, such a great character. This story brought me down to tears more than any of you're other stories, what a marvellous story and what a great character!

Once again my heart strings have been pulled I always had this ache of what Hercules life was like and why he ended up being the way he was and how you’ve shown the fact that he was using his charm and talent as ways of coping with the tragedy in his life was amazing also, love how Hercule always stayed true to the type of man he has invisioned himself to be and how he wanted to show Videl that he could be an actual fighter like Goku and the rest while also been told at the end that it didn’t matter since she knew her dad was the strongest man on the earth bringing him a sense of fulfillment.
Your stories always bring me to tears but this was just beautiful from a man who started out as a wide eyed young martial artist, to father, to a man lost with the need to take care of his daughter to the Z-Fighters greatest ally and secret weapon in some cases you have given Hercule the spark that was missing the reason why he was that way and for that I thank you

That was a great one. Never before have I really felt much about Hercule but that puts him in a whole new perspective. I know Buu didn't have evil in him at the end of his arc but without Hercule we would of been robbed of him and their amazing friendship.

This really gave Hercule character, when I watch dragon ball, I wonder what Hercules backstory was, and this perfectly creates a picture of what it might be. I really hope Toriyama or Toyotaro will implement this in the DBS manga. This is amazing Rising fist!

This was well done and reminded me that while Mr. Satan wasn't a string fighter like Goku or Vegeta, he did try his best and did his part to protect the Earth. This really did him justice. Also reminded me of the epic death battle of him by rooster teeth.

I... never thought I'd cry to something like this. But Buu's innocence and reaction just caught me somehow.
i think the reason these hit so hard is because majority of us watching grew up with the dragon ball series we grew up with these characters, and the writing is so well made that the flow of the story feels completly natural and is exactly how we would expect these moments to go if they were actually done in the show, nothing feels forced or out of character quite frankly its scary how accurate it feels like if i didnt know any better id say akira actually wrote all these stories but never used them and you somehow got your hands on them
I have always found him very entertaining. He is one of the reasons why Buu saga is my favourite.

I just discovered your channel recently. Im a old school fanboy of DB franchise! I watched your fanmade stories and really enjoyed all your content so far. But this one is different, is by far the best fanmade story i watched here on youtube.Toriyama just really see this! It fits perfectly on character that Hercule is. Dont know how to say it, but its perfect this story of Hercule, nothing "exagered" and nothing far from the series, you know i mean? If was cannon, would fit perfectly.
