2022 update: Elisa was known to haven episodes of hallucinations and paranoia. She didn't realize it, but she was accidentally pushing the "hold door" button on the elevator panel. So she didn't understand why the elevator door wouldn't shut and begin descending to her floor. She thought someone or something was messing with the elevator door from the hallway. So she kept looking for someone in the hallway and then she would back in the elevator for short periods to try to get the door to close so the elevator would engage and take her to her floor. Out of frustration she ends up pushing several buttons at once, one of which took her to the floor with the door that accessed the roof. She either got off on another floor and someone saw her in a compromised mental condition and took advantage of an easy target and attacked her, disposing of her in the water tank. There's a theory that Elisa may have swiped keys from a hotel emoyee to get onto the roof, but that's impossible because no employee was missing their keys and no keys to the roof were found on the roof or in the tank with Elisa. This is murder and the suspect pool is incredibly small. I don't understand how this is still unsolved 8 years later.
You’ve got all your facts wrong u literally just got all the most popular rumors and spit them out on this SORRY GUYS SHE JUST WASTED YOUR TIME IF U R READING THIS
She looks as if she sees what we cannot. Her behavior is that of someone she is trying to hide from. I cannot imagine how terrified she must have felt.
I've always felt, she could have been accosted by someone boarding in the other side, as the elevators were shared by boarders and hotel guests. I think she got overly paranoid, and scared of course, and maybe as a result, and her mental illness( not taking meds), her.mind went into overdrive, leading to this strange behavior, and eventually death.. I feel so sad for the poor girl.... she must have been terrified, no matter what the reason that led to her death...
For those who are unfamiliar with the other mugshot to the right of Ramirez, his name was Jack Unterweger. He was one of Austria’s most famous serial killers who fled to America to escape persecution. Not only did he say at the Cecil Hotel, but he also would pose as a journalist and have ride-alongs with cops. (This helped him with his literary works and knowledge of how to try and cover up his continuous murders) I’d highly recommend looking into his story more if interested ;P
This is one of the strangest stories. This poor girl. I just wonder what the heck was going on. My heart breaks for her family. I couldn't imagine the kind of pain & heartache they've had to endure. Losing There is different level of pain & loss one feels when someone loses a child. But having to go the rest of their lives not knowing exactly what happened to their daughter. And how she ended up the way she did has got to be devastating. My heart goes out to her family and my prayers go out to them & their healing. 😥😥❤
it's like she's asking someone why the door is not closing, through weird hand compass? it's like she can talk to someone or somewhat that way. idk lol what im sure is she looked at the camera before her hands do some creepy stuff
I’m bipolar - her behavior is the result of a bipolar mania. I ran through the Las Vegas strip with no shoes, screaming my lungs out because everyone suddenly had melting faces. I was so convinced it was real I was hysterically hitting whoever tried to help me, including the police, and climbing whatever I could to stay away. Going on a vacation WILL trigger a mania if unmedicated. That tank likely did look like her only hope of survival until the very end.
The Black Dahlia case was solved. Watch James Ellroy's Feast of Death. Alisa was on LSD, climbed down to the water tank, got disoriented and drowned. It's a shame you only read someone else's inaccurate paper on her death. If you had watched some of the newer evidence documentaries, you would have seen how easy it was for a guest to get to the tank and get in. Simply by watching her body language Occam's Razor immediately says LSD beyond a shadow of a doubt. Once she was in that tank and her pupils dilated even more than the drug was enlarging them the opening would have looked like a vibrating piece of plaid which covered the whole upper half of her vision.
You're missing the point that it's unsolved as a blanket term, y'knowm there is no evidence to prove or explain much of what happened. You can't just Say LSD and overlook the fact that there were no traces of it found anywhere, even with evidence that might support the idea that it was destroyed due to being submerged in water for days, it doesn't matter, you gotta solve it if you're a decteive/cop/fbi. So that's where it gets weird. It would be nice to have simple explanations, but that's not how it works, maybe for you tho, who is just a viewer clicking and scrolling thru for entertainment.
So.....her autopsy showed not a trace of anything in her system. I would think LSD would have shown up or some by product of it after it metabolizes or whatever.
There is an episode of a show called Ghost Adventures, where the main guy of the show Zak Bagans interviews a guy who is the son of the Black Dalia Murderer. The son wrote a book about it. I forgot his name though.
she was likely ordered to the place of her demise’ by the perp’ atrator living in an undiscovered as yet pass thru’ built long ago in the plans for the building itself.
You forgot the weirdest part of all - the tuberculosis outbreak around the hotel at the time - the test for which is called LAM-ELISA.

@@sullivanhill5196 Exactly.
How can she a little 5ft4" woman get the lid off of the tank to then get in ......take her clothes of and just drown ?
You should make more of these types of videos, deep dives into the topics you touch on in you shorts, well made man.
I agree. I enjoy the short videos but deep dives would be fun too.
2 theorys of how Lisa had access to the roof is either she stole keys from the the staff or one of the staff members at the time was a killer
ElementGuns12 ok?

This is so spooky
I was actually going to school there when they were filming Dark Water on Rosevelt Island

What a story Mark
The hotel is call the Cicil Hotel.
Did you notice that the little girl in Dark Water was also Called Cicilia
William Benjamin Holy shit
That's the floor Richard Ramirez stayed on. You can tell by the wall color
Does that assume that every floor has different color paint on the walls?
She was definitely tweaking
Bad mushroom trip
Just thought I have to check out the dude that always popped up in my YT shorts....😅
How many people probably drink or use that water and technically we're bathing in somebody else even brushing their teeth or drinking somebody else 😱
Before he had the throat surgery
It was probably a custodian or someone else familiar with the water tanks
Jan 31 last time she was seen, found Feb 19....3 weeks not 7 weeks haha
