      There are many other English teachers, but I'm happy if I can be one of the teachers you follow. If I can help you learn and love English, that's wonderful!
      (You could say, "You are another reason why I love English" or "You help me see other reasons to love English.")

      Thank you for watching. I do hope to make it back to France and see more of the country. I need to learn more French before that. I was somewhat functional in restaurants and stores, but my skills are very limited. I’ll put Marseille on my list! 😃

      That would make sense with more contacts. For example: George and Sasha want to play street hockey, but it’s raining. They can’t find anyone to join them. Others aren’t ready to play hockey in the rain.

      Glad to hear you aced the quiz. When I'm really hungry, I can eat two hot dogs too. I think I'd get sick after three or four. Another few after that would kill me!
      Will work on a new grammar lesson.

      There are some really good examples we can create in the context of shopping for clothes or shoes. For example, you might ask a sales person if there’s another dress like this one. Or if you could have the same dress but in another size.

    Jennifer please hot dog first word hot are stress? Or stress secound word dog? Thank you.😢

    • @Englishwithjennifer
      @Englishwithjennifer  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Super question! If we talk about a little puppy that's feeling hot, it would be a hot (adjective) dog (noun). More stress falls on the final content word -- the noun.
      However, "hot dog" is understood as a compound word. Greater stress is placed on the first word (hot).
      You'll hear this pattern in the dictionary. www.britannica.com/dictionary/hot-dog
