    These were the war elephants the greek fought when they invaded India. Imagine their fear of seeing these monstrous beasts

    • @xijinpig8982
      @xijinpig8982 Před 3 měsíci +2

      The region the Greeks invaded (Punjab, Northwest India) is more arid and less rainforest like, hence less elephants. While facing heavy casualties, Alexander was said to have won the war with Porus, but Porus and his kingdom was tiny. Northwest India also happens to be the region with the least wildlife and animals integrated into warfare, both then and today. There was good reason they did not go further into India, as the empires beyond the Indus Valley were larger and had hundreds of elephants each. The Greeks made the right choice in following the Indus Tributaries to the sea.

Our beloved and respected lord Balaji would be more happy if that elephant would live happily in his natural habitat. That elephant would definitely prefer to roam freely in jungle with his mates, drink elixir water of cold streams, and eat the sweet leaves and branches of trees over being tied to a piller with a thick metal chain and given enough food and water to survive. If he would have been happy there then we wouldn't have came across several news reports from south about those temple elephants to attack on the crowds of public.
