This elephant is associating every vehicle with food now. I am just astonished that instead of driving by faster, the drivers slow down and stop and that white van just stood there for so long instead of turning around and he was blocking road. The last Raksha also slowed down and even though elephant walked away, the rickshaw backed and stopped. They hve no idea how much they r putting themselves and passengers their at risk!

This is in Ella-Buttala road in Sri Lanka. A pretty regular scene as these elephants are used to picking food off of people's hands. Sometimes they are a bit pushy.
