I can never believe its not a thing in the rest of the world. Its a great vegetable, also very refreshing right out of fridge (and you cannot eat the skin ...)

I found out the origin of Kuhlrabi it actually has four countries of origin. They are hungry Germany, Vietnam, and eastern India. Yes, it’s India, Vietnam, Germany, and Hungary surprisingly I did not know they had four countries of origin. I thought they just had one. It’s actually four. I’m sick right now. I have the stomach bug. I’ve got the stomach flu right now surprisingly so does my mom haven’t had it in years yeah if you puke you could have the stomach flu that’s actually a symptom of the stomach flu. I diagnosed myself and turns out I was right the whole time I had the stomach flu I didn’t know. I told her groceries I told her f it I’m gonna order them.
Love it! It is very popular in Eastern Europe. You can also shred it into a salad but beware if you store it when it already cut it smells like farts after a while :D so dont bring it to work :D that is why you should eat it rigt away
I think it’s a European vegetable. We have it everywhere all the time in Germany, my mum loves it so we had it every other day as a snack in my childhood for supper or for school breakfast (2nd breakfast of the day with sandwiches in school after a bowl of cereal at home).
I had no idea that literally means cabbage turnip in German, I I think that might be where there originally from correct me if I’m wrong I think they’re from Germany. I have a little bit of DNA. I’m a little bit German, but not very much.
There's good reason not to eat raw potato and it isn't because of the flavor. Potatoes fall into the nightshade family and eating them raw can actually make you sick.

I had never heard of it before. I will have to look if any supermarkets near me carry them.

Bad for my digestive system cabbage and a turnip all that's a bad evening right there of pain, bloating and gas. No thank you. 🤮
🤢 girl you need to cook them first not eat them raw it's like eating a raw potato
It tastes like a broccoli stem so not really
You can eat it raw
I’m German and I eat them raw as a snack or with carrots, paprika and hummus or a different dip. They’re really good
