We Have A Policy That If Your Drone Falls On Our Land We Won't Return It đČđžđ„â
VloĆŸit
- Äas pĆidĂĄn 4. 06. 2024
- Today we take a look around Red Bull Racing, Red Bull Technology Campus, Building, 2 Bradbourne Dr, Tilbrook, Milton Keynes MK7 8AT.
We are impressed with the ongoing development plans with the area and even more impressed when we are permitted to take a look inside the lobby area where a F1 Racing Car is hanging on the wall.
We speak to a construction worker who tells us all about what is goin on and then we speak to security.
We are asked to get permission to fly the drone but it was not possible to speak to anyone so we continue regardless.
Whilst flying a staff member comes out for a chat and explains that it is Red Bull Policy to keep drones if they fall onto their land.
We say goodbye to security, recieve a present and then leave.
Enjoy!

The first guy was brilliant and was a wealth of knowledge, Kudos to himđđThen the lovely friendly staff at the reception, were chilled and welcoming. The Nurture guy was great, no fear of a camera, and surprise, Security was pleasant as well. Almost spoiled by the "We'll keep your drone" guy, but even he was pleasant and didn't bark orders. All in All a very positive audit, and the Red Bull brand should be proud of their staff across the board. Only one thing, NO solar panels on such a modern complex?? Great Audit DJ
No solar is a plus from me.
They are probably really clued up with all the rules considering they balance secrecy for design and a public image.
i work for nurture, i feel blessed we scraped passed the DJ audit! :p
They plan to have solar on the wind tunnel and redbull hotel
CooLest Dude
Well done security! Offering a drink. I think this audit went well and for the most part looked good on Red Bull. Not returning a drone after it comes down on their land is a bit childish though! Cheers from Canada!
It would also be classed as theft under UK law.
Itâs not childish, its theft
I doubt it's a policy. He just made it up. He was ok, he just needed to stop talking nonsense.
It's a lovely policy of Redbull, if they find your stuff they keep it. I of course adopted that policy for Redbull as well,
I currently have 4 of their Coreflute signs, 2 of their countertop fridges, and one of those nice little minis with the oversized fake Redbull can in the back :-P.
I'm just following them around right now waiting till they park up one of the racing trucks some place public. Oh Lordy What a day that well be!
if they don't return it then it's theft and if you get it yourself its trespass, but one is a criminal offence the other is only a civil offence - i had that conversation with a police officer over 30 years ago with regards to a football when i was a child
Well done everyone, that's how it should be done. The can of RedBull was class from the security guard, respect.
Security guy was a gem đ đ
A hot Air Balloon crash landed there back in 2004. Crew and passengers never seen again..
High energy drink.
High speed racing.
Low stress staff!
Total respect for a game beautifully played. đŹđ§đ
You should've challenged the 'keep the drone policy' bollocks. So if one of their Redbull racing planes did an emergency landing in a farmer's field they could keep it? Yeah right.
@@davesgrowboxesuk7568 Yep. Keep all the passengers too!đ
He never said 'keep it' - he said 'not return it' - DJ could go and fetch it.
@Dr Herbical Maybe thatâs what the hotel is for?đ
you do realize they don't actually have a policy right? you DO realize that right? RIGHT????
@@phil6465 only if blonde and female!!! And not just identifying as female! Real ones only!
WOW that construction worker at 2:00 of the video was amazing, red bull should hire him as a customer service manager/representative,
The reception staff was amazing at 6:01, even though it was clear to see that they were busy they still allowed DJAUDITS in to view the trophies and the car hanging on the wall.
The security guard at 15:42, was polite, helpful, made a nice change to see a security guard act so professional, well until DJ told him about the drone, did not seem keen on that, but as he does not know the laws about drones, but he remained polite about it.
34:14 The best bit was the security guard giving DJAUDITS ađč drinkđč on a hot day, and of course it had to be, you guessed it red bull, that security guard was pretty amazing to be honest.
discrimination against davids is what that is
@@nicotoscani1707 đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€ŁAs a drone pilot myself, I have not come across this yet, but its only a matter of time.
Shame about fatboy at 29mins
Everyone was nice and polite. Should've given that security guard your you tube channel. He's the best guard I've seen on the British auditing channels. Top marks to him. Certainly is a big place. Just shows what can be achieved with energy drinks. đđ
Thumbs up to the Construction site guy, Thumbs up for security gentleman for being polite and offering you a drink and Thumbs up to you DJ
p.s. and I almost forgot the lovely ladies in the display case area.. Well done all round ;-)
Policy is not law, if a drone 'falls' on their land they cannot keep it
There is no restriction on flying a drone over their land, so if they refused to return it, it would be theft.
How could he prove it landed on their property if the drone isn't on their property when flying?
would the cops care enough over there?
@@andrewbrocklehurst2181 The app has a copy of the drone flight path so he could prove that it landed on their property.
@@andrewbrocklehurst2181 The drone uses GPS, it would be easy to log it's last location on the app.
@@andrewbrocklehurst2181 It's got a camera on it.
Almost a 10/10 for Redbull.
To deprive someone of property that is known to belong to another person then that is theft. What a dimwit to think they can use a policy like that and think itâs lawful. đ€Ź
Why aren't all the places you visit as nice and polite. What a breath of fresh air.
Wow fantastic staff very welcoming and you can tell they are happy in their work.
Hooray DJ!!
That must be the first of your videos that I've watched, and I watch every single day from Bala, Wales, were every person that you have met has been welcoming, polite, civil, happy(ish) and even giving you so much information that you didn't ask for, 99% of people seem to have issues with you flying your drone over there workplaces.
Hats off to the Red Bull Racing crew for knowing how to deal with a really nice auditor.
We have a policy that if you donât return our drone, we keep letting your car tyres down. Itâs great when you can make up your own policies, ainât it?
*with a Stanley knife
Isnât it mad they think itâs okay?
Can you imagine if you dropped your phone and they just said ânah we have a policyâŠâ đ
We have a policy if you drop anything we will just steal it and not return it to its owner. That's really considerate. I have now just started a new policy too, I will never use any of their products again...you see I'm considerate also. đđżïžđ€
@@GutterHeartsTV I wonder if they give the drones to charity or hand them to kids homes for the less fortunate at Christmas?
This policy isnât legal, if any aircraft lands on private land the land owner cannot hold it hostage. In fact the landowner becomes responsible for the safety of the aircraft whilst they prevent you recovering it.
Eg. If you had to land in a field and the farmer says you canât retrieve your aircraft, if the aircraft is then damaged by cows the liability is with the farmer.
"It's our policy that we steal anything that falls on our land", theft... what an odd policy!
I wonder how many pigeons they have?
'It's our policy that I've just plucked out of my ars.. out of the air, that we will keep it, and if any ball comes over our wall, we keep that.'
Try getting it back if it fell in my garden.
I bet the local kids live in fear of their ball going into his garden
He just made that up - as if they have a drone policy
The construction worker was a decent, knowledgeable friendly man. Then Peter Griffin comes out thinking he has some kind of Authority lol. Nice work DJ
Should have told him that Red Bull gives you wings when the drone was up.
đ€Łđ€Ł
Great Guy explaining, Really nice security guard. If they failed to return your property that would be theft.
But would it be classed as theft if you handed it to them, as opposed to them forcefully taking it from your possession?
lets all give a shout out to Redbulls construction team..thats the way u get free advertising and look like a professional in the publics eye...thumbs up to the construction guy
he got fired
Be good to go back when itâs fully open, seems a good set of employees that appreciate the public wanting to know more about whatâs being built. No doubt the management will give all staff training on how to deal with public taking photos and videos.
So if your wallet falls out of your pocket on their land, they keep it also?
What if somebody drops a bollock? đ€Łđ€Ł
@@UncleB52 Stop it...I nearly fell off my chair laughing đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
@@billericaydickie6137 Ooops! Sorry....looks like I dropped one.
He didn't say 'keep it'. He said 'not return it' - if you drop a tenner on my property and I say I'm not going to return it - you can go and fetch it yourself.
There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding about private property and private land if someone is daft enough to land their drone or throw their wallet or gold watch onto my property or land it becomes Mine and will be treated accordingly without explanation, they can allways try legal routes but the law is expensive.
Wow, although the security guy didnât know the laws regarding drones, he was very polite and a real nice guy.
As a big fan of F1, this is my favourite audit you've done!
What a nice security bloke , best security bloke iv'e ever seen on an audit. DJ another great audit.
Very good audit, builder and security both did an amazing job. Great video again
Enjoyed that one. No hassle just friendly conversation.
What a nice guy explaining it all
The chap in the construction gear you encountered near the start- what a legend!
Hi Viz guy at the start immediately went to helping and explaining the site. No suspicion or accusatory questions whatsoever. đ
What a bloody nice guy in security :)
Really decent people at Red Bull.
29:25 Their policy of not returning it is dodgy. They might have a valid reason not to return it if it lands on a roof and is not accessible without a person lift/cherry picker, but if it lands on the ground, then they must return it or hand it to the person who claims it. That's what the operator ID is for. If they touch it and don't return it, then its theft.
They can keep a football since there is no way to identify the owner of the ball - unless they saw the kids playing with it. Keeping a random ball just appearing on site would be still be theft but because the value is so low, nothing much would happen about the theft.
Its called theft by finding A drone has indentifiers on it ie Flyer ID number so they wouldn't have a leg to stand on
@@mickb2009 spot on, defo theft by finding.
As a massive F1 fan this was a brilliant Audit. First Site guy what a real gentleman telling you all the secrets lol, security guard was cool to...
And as Red Bull being the world champions for the last 2 years 21/22 with Max Verstappen being 2 time world driver champion you can under stand how Red Bull can afford to buy all that land and businesses..
Top Audit DJ 11/10
awesome video, i work round the corner from these guys and was going to suggest a flyover, MK has alot of places to film that might be of interest to the auditors, glad to see you landed in this end of the woods! the new car park is next to a train station so might explain the charges, annoyingly RB bought a parcel of land that was used for free public parking previously to make way for there own private parking lot.
Been watching alot of your content while I'm off sick.. keeping me entertained đ thanks DJ!
I've lived in Milton Keynes all my life and I've never seen this site, I ought to have a look myself someday.
Well done Red Bull, just shows how a business should operate and interact with members of the public. Fantastic Audit DJ , thanks for showing us around this place.
I really enjoy these videos and your approach to audits. I think when auditors act like fools and are disrespectful it draws the attention to the auditor not the audit. You on the other hand are completely respectful and that highlights the audit not the auditor. Great job and keep up the good work!
Probably one of the best ones I have watched. Fair play to the Guy in the hi vis. Even security was offering info and not saying you can't do it. And a drink to finish what a day. Thanks DJ. And Thank you Red Bull :)
Top guy in high viz giving you directions đđ
Whyis it the majority of security staff speaking english as an obvious second language, seem to be the most adament that you can't take video or fly the drone? As for the none return policy, I wonder what the CAA would have to say about that?
What a huge operation. No wonder they're the best in f1 right now. Good staff. Interesting video.
Wow DJ , what an excellent video, but you never thought that you would get that close to a Red Bull racing car and all the trophies.
Great Video, well done to RedBull Racing and to the very professional security guard and construction manager. Great to see some empathy towards what you do from them all. đđ
thank you Red Bull for investing in our UK
Awesome job DJ and I think overall it was great interactions with the RB staff.
Watched a couple of your videos now.. this one caught my eye.
I've had the privilege of working inside the Redbull complex, installing workbenches and cabinetry. Can confirm the staff are absolutely AMAZING. Always felt welcome, amazing place to visit. I believe they do offer tours?
Excellent stuff as usual. How refreshing to see people happy at work.
Wow this video . Loved the red bull sign on the building. Amazing visit n staff were brillant with u
Security guard offering a red Bull at the end was a nice touchđđđ
First guy very informative security guard very nice even offered you a drink thumbs up to him no confrontation all good just the bit when the guy said the policy if tour drone falls on there property they would keep it surely not would that not be stealing đ€ great audit love the way you got the motor close up đ very interesting place
What a wonderful interaction with the security officer.
to be fair they was quite respectful and accommodating, pretty rare for big companies that
I managed a cafe in the mid 1990s. A salesman came in one day offering free samples of this new "energy drink" called Red Bull. I remember it tasting like sickly sweet bubble gum flavored carbonated cough syrup. I said, this is disgusting mate, no thanks. 30 years later...
I wonder if that very first salesman got paid commission?

I was going back from France few weeks back and these Red Bull two trucks were also going from France to UK, we came through the tunnel and drove to the beach, spend an hour there and then catched the two truck on the motorway đŁ
It was funny to come across the same two trucks two time on the same day in two different countries:)
I didn't even know they did flavoured Red Bull.
DJ if a hydrant has a yellow H next to it, then it's a Fire Hydrant. These do belong to the Fire Brigade and are maintained by the local Water Company.
Anybody with a metered stand pipe can extract water from that Hydrant.
The Cover on the Hydrant said WO, that's "Washout" also used buy Water Company for flushing etc.
The water wasn't coming out the hydrant it was coming out the tanker lol
I just wanted to say thank you DJ I learn so many new things from watching your videos.
My policy is to leave Peter Griffin a 1 star Google Review on Red Bull Racing.

Exactly! Top bloke!
Great video, I did notice we got a glimpse of what you looked like when inspecting the f1 car and I know you like your privacy so fuzz the screen, just letting you know DJ
The whole place seems so clinically clean. Yes a pleasure to watch this one. Trees and Avenue s great. Something to be proud of.? No rubbish / litter. Yeh nice video d.j.
I used to deliver pizzas there and they always said to raid the bucket in reception full of redbull drinks, very nice people and place, getting big now, I lived 200 yards from there by the lake. Great to see more of the place thank you,
It makes such a difference when people are informed when they chat to you and then some make it up as they go along ( 2nd & 3rd guy was not necessary at all and looked foolish) talking without a leg to stand on really, the first guy was a great embassador for the company promoting it very positively, well done to him. Its good that companies recognise us viewers are also their customers indirectly
This was a great audit and exactly how it should go. Sad that guy made up his own rule of not returning a drone though.
Great video DJ, thank you.
Well done Red bull and DJ Audits.
What a great video, intresting & knowledgeable people. Watching from đłđżNew Zealand
This is the best Audit I have seen.
That was so kind offering you can of red bull , he was really polite. đ
Wow, what a great place, and a great F1 team. thanks for sharing.
That guy got off the mini dumper with the green beacon flashing, which means he has connected the seatbelt to deceive people that he's using it correctly
All in all, a good visit. polite people and what a ending with the drink.
Bigger enough area to have their own racing track to be honest. Thank you DJ AUDITS!!
How to teach the country how its done, Cristian Horner the ambassador of red bull deserves credit as well as the team behind him.
The most dangerous members of this team are the two drivers and the number of test drivers that trust ....implicitly what goes on.
Great audit DJ. Right next to the Glen Parva and Leicester prisons vids.
Your on top par and you share the energy red bull have.đđŻđ
