That Araujo Red Card changed that whole game, PSG Had a good attack beforehand but they couldn’t score a single goal until the red card, it also forced Barca to be less passive on the attack
Edit: These replies are way too heated for this comment. I just stated the obvious and now war has started. PSG Looked threatening yes but they couldn’t breakdown Barcelona’s Defense well and even when they did they couldn’t score. Barcelona knew this and played more on the counter and with faster pace, until the Red Card. Barcelona took away all the Momentum from their attack by being forced to take off Lamine Yamal and Replacing him with a Defender that is clearly not as good as Araujo, and with Araujo out, it forced Barcas midfield to be less aggressive on attack and play more back giving PSG the entire field almost in space, but people don’t care and will make excuses and argue over it no matter what

Yeah I really bad for Barcelona and their fans, we should remember that they are in financial crisis and rebuilding phase and did everything they could. That Araujo red card, although it changed the game, can still be fairly given as a red card. the Xavi mental breakdown to get a red card is unjustifiable. Cancelo should have not panicked in that penalty, that was a big gamble from him. So many details crushed Barcelona today, and PSG capitalized, that's the fact. Hard luck Barcelona, Congrats PSG! We expect Barca to do something year after year only to fall short time and time again. In the last 5 years, we have lost 8-2 to Bayern, Lost to PSG 5-2 on aggregate, grouped, grouped again, then we lose the slight lead to PSG. One mistake cost us this game, and it hurts to see this self-sabotage by us. Love Xavi but what was the point of being kicked from the game, it doesn't do us any favors. Hopefully we do better next year.

@@Ryjxz Yeah, we were playing well going forward and were able to at least keep PSG attack from doing much. That Araujo red card CHANGED the game entirely and subbing YAMAL off really changed this game. We had this tie but mistakes were made and this is the result of it.

Xavi was trying to assault the referee after the match, holding him back, poking him and getting in his way, because the referee ignored his sarcastic handshake. Araujo kept trying to stay on the pitch even after being sent off, and put his head on referee's face when asked to be off the pitch. This was disgraceful behaviour from them. It's the manager that has to stay calm and restrain his players. But if the manager is getting sent off for petulant behaviour, then the rest of the team will follow suit.
