a) Araujo is a complete idiot for that tackle, even if we conceded we would still be a goal up, so that red card is all on him, and
b) Even if I don't think the referee wasn't biased against us (even if I think he could have given the foul on Gundogan), I consider every bad decision against us to be karma for everything we got away with in late 2000/early 2010 (Chelsea 09, Van Persie Red Card in 11,...).
I'm glad the pen wasn't called because we fucking played like assholes this shitty game, we need to fucking learn every time we score the first goal we will concede seventeen afterwards. always the same it has been like this for like 4 years now

It's funny that if he had broken the rules in the zone, he would have gotten a yellow and a penalty, but Barcelona would still be in the game and even pass most likely..but this is a foul of last hope and a straight red card.

The rule is if it was in the box it would be a yellow card and a penalty. But it is a red card because the foul was outside the box being the final defender. The penalty itself works as a yellow card when it is not a dangerous foul. If it is a dangerous foul in the box then a straight red plus penalty.

The problem is, there was absolutely NO robbery in this match. Zero, none. If there was, it would be even funnier, but there just wasn't. The ref rightfully gave a red to Araujo, Xavi, gave the penalty over Cancelo's foul on Dembelerightfully and gave a yellow to Gundogan for diving in the box. The ref was flawless in all the big decisions.

It wasn't favourites.. listen the red was red and screaming and shouting at the ref he wasn't having it simple. You can't contradict the referee. Then xavi was gone for losing his temper. Then the other dude for shouting at the ref. Even PSG players got booked so don't tell me it's favourites the referee gave reds to barca cause they couldn't keep their cool. PSG had nothing to lose that's the difference
The rest were yellows which was normal because they didn't escalate it. Look at raphina for example... he wanted to play the free kick from wherever he wanted that ain't the rules he got booked and he tried arguing with the ref and almost got sent off that's his own doing. Donna got booked for time wasting and could've potentially been sent off towards the end for doing it again. But then again Ter Stegen did it in the first half to slow the game down.

It’s dubious at best to call this a red as he’s not 1 on 1 with the keeper, he’s attacking from the wing and the contact was minimal but enough to call the foul. 25 minutes into the game and a challenge as soft as that shouldn’t be given as a red and at the least of it is, how does Gundogan being tripped by Vitinha and then shouldered into the ground result in a goal kick instead? If this was a league 2 game with clubs you have no bias to you wouldn’t say no penalty then and that’s a fact.
