This is insane. I just started this game and wanted to see what the potential was like for building.. you've just blown my mind.
It's about to get better on the 16th lol, many more building goodies for us to play with. I've seen some other insane builds that I would say are a whole other level than this one (not to dis), there's a lot of potential
@@dalagnorak1986 You'll love it. Best of luck on your adventures!
@@ScarryHarry93 The beginner challange is to learn the physics and durability of different material.
it actually matters, which is pretty great. there are some pretty good videoes on CZcams on those aspects.
When you get a hang of that its only your creativity that makes the limits
@@MarkFilipAnthony dude I get so many good ideas from builds like this. Like people who are making damn alchemy rooms fuck
Same, do not understand why I haven't started playing it sooner. I love base building and the posibilities mindblowing.
I'm gonna try to build this in my survival world, wish me luck 🤞
Edit:
- I dug deeper into the ground for a higher ceiling basement, required more iron bars to stabilise the stone structures
- i used core wood pillars instead of normal wood pillars for most of the layout, don't recommend it, snapping is kinda weird, needed some adjustments here and there.
- stairs not covered by the roof will have weather damage, I may (?) change them to stone stairs after finishing the build to see if it looks better
Edit 2:
I finished it!
- taller ceiling for basement works great for putting smelters and stuff without getting smoked
- no way to fix the wood decay, so I just ended up using stone stairs instead
- used stone paths for the wooden floors outside of the house.
10/10 build, bare minimum amount of iron used to keep the house stable. I just used more because I changed parts of the house a bit. Definitely possible in survival!
One of my fave parts about watching your vids, is the sound track. The final acoustic track in this build sounds a lot like Trace Bundy. Peaceful, and the build are incredible!
One big building. I thought it would be too simple, hard to build (integrity), but never thought it would turn out this magnificent.
This is simply amazing. Your build is so beautiful and functional it makes me wish I could building this in real life! Bravo!
That is absolutely stunning. I learned so much from watching you build. I'm trying to do everything in survival, but damn. Really amazing work.
Your skill for Architectural interest and detail is outstanding. So anxious for more from you and even more anxious to see the designs your cleaver eye will discover when Hearth and Home are released, again, thank you for all the time and effort you put into these videos!!
Love Love Love! Can't wait to run around the build file
Man this is amazing i love how you made use of the floor tiles as walls! Definitely gave me some idea for my plains base 😁
The video footage and music are so enjoyable. Good work as usual, guys 😁
I saw a video where you said it takes almost 14 hours to build and edit for a 13 minute video... I love that you do this, so great to watch and learn. Please keep pumping out content, I'm a huge fan!
I love the somewhat more playful vibe towards the end, wonderful editing and collaborative effort! ^^
Thank you Miraboo!
nice pfp
@@vetlive3669 game in the description is showing ark survival. If that’s even up to you lol just a heads up … great build
After watching this, now I know why this video was recommended. A skilled, originally inventive and flawless engineering master architect that you are.
Awesome designs, single handed has inspired me to try to go bigger and more detailed. Bravo
Building, phenomenal.
Soundtrack, phenomenal.
Video, excellently made. This is so good
Valheim is an amazing game. Thanks for sharing these builds. I learn a lot from every one of them.
man i just effing LOOOVE THIS build, fantastic work man
What a fantastic build. Beauty, function and incredibly fun to watch. Music choices were just the right touch. I so enjoy watching your vids. Am looking forward to trying this one.
looks great! love the editing and imma need me one of those bad boys for endgame!
Thats a really nice build! It would be quite a challenge to do it in survival mode for the amount of material needed, but its very tasteful and practical, diggin' it!
It took me 41 hours to get the materials and to build it, I didn’t even do any inside work yet. But those 41 hours also had the construction of the AFK wood and stone farm and the classic tree domino farm lol
Very good build. Combined with our relaxing sounds this makes me feel home :D
Can't wait to see what master piece you guys would make once the darkwood building patches are introduced :)
Man i wish i was creative and talented as this guy, i literally have images in my brain pops up that "imma do it like dis" and it turns out looking like a 3 year olds drawing for a house
waste of time
@@vsluj3508 What is?
@@kimpoulsen4163 Spending hours on unfinished single-player game
@@vsluj3508 Do what you enjoy. That way you're not wasting time as you said. And heck if the content creator even makes a living out of doing it, that's just a win win. And besides me, you and others get to enjoy the hours he spends on creating theese fantastic things in an unifinished single-player game ^^.
@@kimpoulsen4163 yeah waste of time
One of the greatest builds I've seen so far. Well Done :D
Wow! My left mouse button finger hurt just watching you all build this. I'm going to have to get some more batteries for my Wireless mouse because I'm sure I'm going to run out of juice before this build is over. Great Job! As usual!
I havnt yet watched this because I'm walking my dog and valheim is for the late night.
But I do wanna say, I've got a few hundred hours so far and I've yet to see such a perfect build spot. Meadows/plains flat land, wild! Got forbid if there was a swamp a simple build path away lol
Wow, this is absolutely incredible! So cozy!!! Amazing job
Always love your builds!
The whole vid was brilliant. Build and decor are on point. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Mr Neqtan
What insanity is this, I LOVE IT, love it, love it. You sir and your team is and are amazing with the insane housing designs. Please keep on going in the future with any game you do.
Thanks a ton!
This looks really awesome!
I made a really nice house with ocean view and patio and security wall and boat dock. It takes a lot of time to do it right. Your house looks amazing and very well done! I can't wait till we get the new hearth and home update and see what new building materials we get with the update and what we can do. I'm really hoping we get new roofing materials like architectural shingles or something.
epic! and talk about a perfect location!
Looks so warm!
dude this is sick
What a wonderful video. Thank you very much for that. Gorgeous build.
this looks more than amazing! seriously like how you build :)
Incredible work! I envy your creativeness , thanks for sharing your work!
These Valheim builds are seriously something else. Love it, keep it up.
Glad you like them!
Amazing built!
Very relaxing to watch
Woooow 😯😯😯, again i am totaly speachles, this is an amazing masterpiece
I think i will build village of your houses
Keep up good work man
Very nice build. Looks amazing.
I love this design. Its kinda viking-ish, but also medieval, functional not just decorational, and, most importantly, cozy.
I love it.
Amazing effort, mates. Good job.
this is just amazing and really a master piece .ty for that mate
The showcase through the house, with the music, gave me some serious Farming Simulator vibes.
I'm just gonna haul this product to the market now Ed.
Absolutely terrific
nice build man for sure going to check this game out.
I don’t even own this game. I just find the building pleasing to watch. Thank you.
This is really an art work here
very nice build for an calmimg end for the game when you finished it
I am problebly gonne copy much of this for one of my bases, this is amazing! And i normaly hate music like that but this one gave me a good felling
Absolute insanity.
Отличная работа как всегда!!! Great job as always!!!
Looking forward to giving this one a try!
Beautiful build! I don't play Valheim but I do play some sims. I'll go check out this game!
Really inspiring work you have completed there. Reminds me not of my own constructs but those of friends on their servers. Greyhawk_DD and UDirtyRats_DD they both have the same vision as you do. My constructs are purely utilitarian. Most of my builds are either on top of mountains above the reach of Golems or are in the area of the Black Forest by the Plains on top of rock platforms to protect them from the area monsters. Bravo on your works!
This just gave me so much inspiration!!
wow, impressive! and very well presented, thank you
Awesome design!
Very nice!! For future videos, it would be really helpful if you could add measurements for the dimensions especially for elaborate builds like this :)
Slow the video way down and do a lot of pausing and counting. I had to start using the creators character for deminisional size when watching videos. On my throwaway build server I have idk, an entire storehouse in each build spot simply for the deconstruct mats I got back in creative mode. My OCD couldn't leave them on the ground smh.
@@anthonyzullo that's actually what I'd often do if the creators don't include the measurements. I would sometimes just download the builds but there's something special about building it on your own. Like completing a lego set or something similar!
@@mikojYT ayo, that's the exact mindset I have. I'm not visually creative so if I build something I like, it's like learning how to do it elsewhere. Or adding ways. Basically by time I'm done with 90% of the build, like the skeleton etc, I just start doing my own thing once the function fits.
I needed 1 more building for a farmhouse in my completely empty and unfurnished first base on a seed I havnt explored. Finally downloaded and fixed all the mods I want to play through, configured them all to my liking and am about to start a fresh toon and play through the end viomes. The furthest I got on survival was iron so everything will be basically as fresh as possible. This is the last building before I start recording day1 tomorrow. Gonna be super fun! For 20$ this is worth every penny. It's hard to justify buying games now. I rate games based off hours played and I'm at 500 hours and idk what tf mistlands are
What a nice Gameplay 😊
1:22 Just a quick note, I did something similar (compound where zones change.) I'd have used all this stone to raise the land, instead, as attackers can't damage land but can damage these stone floor tiles even though they're thick and layered. I wound up with a house on a little sort of plateau.
I did a series of “land islands” with moats. Broke it up into 3 areas to better defend it.
@@djkiltboy I'm doing a village with that concept, bridges connecting each island
I love the music!!!
One of the best builds I have seen in any game
looks amaxing other than the fact that the furnaces would not burn due to smoke but can just make a smithing building for those
great job! looks wonderful !
Thank you!
Amazing work.
I'd love to see a full decor video to go with this one.
I believe due to their usual time restrictions on videos, Vetlive focuses on the actual build tutorial itself. But, they did a separate video on how to decorate. czcams.com/video/AUzGyEFEjLk/video.html&ab_channel=VetliveVetlive Hope this helps.
THIS IS INSANE
SO good man
so theraputic to watch
these musics are amazing!! I know it's not the purpose of the video but you have good musics, cool! :) liked the video
Music had the same energy as, "next time on this old house" :)
I think this one is troll safe !! very clean build and efficient as well
Trolls will break whatever they beat on. Perimeters and moats. It looks nice. But slap a moat and exterior wall on that puppy and you've got not only stylish but also protected. And thick enough to withstand any raid. New perma house in my eyes.
That cart-ramp with a side-stair is sick. I guess that's a solution to building roads on inclines, because the diagonal wood pieces don't decay in rain, if I remember correctly.
Wauuuu .... das ist ein super gute Base !!!!
I love how it's a very calming build video, then there's a random Greyling just sprinting towards him at 1:18. lmao XD
I love watching your dude basically parkour, its super funny to watch a coked up ant build a beautiful home REALLY FAST😂
That is chests upon chests of materials… insane!
This week on MTV cribs! That's nuts!!
God damn. I picked up Valheim when it was in its first version. Played it for a few weeks, then put it down to wait and see how the game develops. Then this hit my algorithm for some reason, and holy. This is outstanding. Gonna have to dive back into the game again.
Thank you :)
Man this reminds me of Sjin from his Minecraft builds way back in the day.
Very nice job
Soundtrack is epic
I really hope to be this good with my building some day. Picked the game up a month ago and havent been able to put it down. I'm so engrossed in the building that I havent even made a stone cutter yet 😂😂😂
Incredible
amazing!
can't imagine how much you need to repair all the time, but looks good :) just hope it won't rain :D
Yepp! The same thoughts I had!!! :D
Mods, my friend. Mods.
@@jacobwolfe2913 the point of this build is not to need them.
damage by rain is just 50% , cant be more
@@aditholmes yes but it looks bad
Nice interior.
Can we all take a moment to appreciate that he even made the stairs 11:11 ADA accessible?
It's for the handcart
yea but how>?
So special 😮
lol the cute little greyling
superb!
Great work !! Whole city in one building ! It would be great if we could put some npc there
That foundation, alone, is like a cart-and-a-third of stone. As someone who does survival-only, just thinking about quarrying that much stone makes me sweat.
Totally worth it, though. Beautiful build.
(Edit: I said this BEFORE he started building the floors. Holy moly. Make that six carts.)
Miss this game
Fun survival tip for builds: If you have a raised foundation like the one in the video, use ladders to make your staircase leading into the base. Ladders act as a 45 degree staircase that you can use even when carrying too much, and enemies have no idea have to walk up them.
I like to do this instead of having a front door to open/close all the time.
And here I was proud of the little shoebox I build, I have much to learn
