I had 2 beautiful budgies and I'm 12 I didn't have a proper cage and thought they disorved more so I had to re-home them it was really sad I cried but it was for their best.

I am very lucky. I had two teils that were bonded. Then I rescued another teil and they got along from the beginning. Then I fostered a conure. I had the plan to get her tame and friendly and then find her a home. But she got along so well with the other birds and fell in love with my husband. So she is now part of our flock.

Elle - you are a lifesaver!! My 17 yr old son loves birds of all types. This past weekend we bought him a pineapple conure and made ALL the mistakes!! Seed based food, happy hut, cage with two dowel perches, sanding perch (sand texture all the way around). UGH!! We thought we did well but thanks to your videos, we now know how to ACTUALLY do it well! Made veg chop for the first time today, have better perches/toys on order thanks to your Amazon store, Harrisons pellets on the way, etc. We are HUGE fans of your channel!! The budgies seemed a little cautious of Nemo at first, but I see they soon started getting along. So cool; and looking forward to seeing more of them all together.

Thank you so much Elle for teaching me about birds and making great content I just switched my 2 bugdies from a table top cage to a flight cage, (a&e elegant style flight cage 32 inches wide) I got inspired by your setting up Pearl's new cage video! And I'm switching them soon to harisons pellets and chop! And inside the cage I have natural wood perches, great toys like shredding, and a little foraging but I want to order from planet pleasure some more! Hi Elle, I was wondering if you could walk us through your process of how you manage to keep all your cages and bird room clean. Is it all in one day or do you do one cage a day? I have always wondered this about you because it's takes me maybe 1 and a half hour to clean and organise just the one cage I have once a week. I have no idea how you would manage it with the amount of cages you have haha I think it would be really interesting! Thanks Elle, love your content!

Hey elle! I have a question for you, how do you make cockatielseat chop when they have ate seeds their whole life? Love your vids btw they help me alot!
The only thing that worked for us is if I put it on a plate. I would sit down on the couch with a fork and eat a few bites and pretend it was so delicious and food for me. The birds eventually came over to eat off my plate. It worked.

You could try sprinkling seeds onto the chop to introduce the bird to it and eventually add less till you don't have to add them anymore.
I don’t own birds but I want to own one I own a dog and cat and don’t want to kill or make the bird stressed because of my cat.
I’ve done a lot of research on birds especially cockatiels. I was actually afraid that two of my budgies wouldn’t be getting along but after about a week they are now the best of friends and sleep together and play together and sit on the ceiling fan (don’t worry it’s not on) and poop on me together

hey! I started watching you about a year before I got my two beautiful parakeets. My nana (Grandma in Spanish) got two Walkin And Pretty. I gave her so many tips about natural perches, great toys, a big cage and so many other things to help give them a happy life. I am so lucky to not only have two wonderful parakeets but also to know how to treat them right. Of course I'm young, so I cant give everything possible. But I've made due with what in have. Thank you for helping me give the best life to my babies :D
