Uh oh.. a little concerned about the fact that the main artist left. A huge appeal for me is the art itself, so would be curious to see what the end result will be.
I'm the same the art was like one of the main reasons I backed this, so I got worried/frustrated about it, because it kinda felt like a bait and switch, however the developers addressed it and it seems they got someone who could emulate/adopt a much more similar art style to what they showed at the beginning, so at least the current art looks to be good. Fingers crossed what we are seeing now is what we get! (it wouldn't make sense for them to use original art and then show sth totally different when they release it!)
That's totally fair! I actually included both the new and old art in the video but admittedly I didn't do a good job with making the distinction. The art though different looks very similar. I'll make a community post so you can see the difference 😊
The art is very similar to Trash of the Count' Family Manhwa. Which got me interested in the first place as I love the art style. But when I discovered how much freedom the game has I was immediately hooked. I want to experience authentic romance where my decisions actually determine the route i go down. Instead of worrying about optimising my decisions just to get my target.
Oh yeah! I've never heard of that manhwa before but looking into it really does look similar to the game's art style! If you're interested in Salty Hounds the game is planned to be released on June 27th 2023 in early access on Steam if there are no other delays.
@SeeingStarsGaming it's a fun manhwa, it's very popular in the manhwa/koreon webnovels community. I highly recommend it. I've been refreshing the steam page over a hour now lol. The game was supposed to be available for early access at 11pm KST but due to some issues, it's under maintenance for a unknown amount of time.
@@vvgirl6173 Yeah it seems to be delayed due to a complication with the steam client not loading the game. It's unfortunate that there's another delay but I'm glad they're communicating the issue with the community!

It's currently an hour overtime from it's actual release date that was put down on steam. It was supposed to be released at 1 and it's currently 2 almost 3. I believe it's being held back once again. :(
