    OMG was legit just listening to them and saw this video!!! so excited!!! Darline and Karl are incredible!!! think we're in with a shot this year! i love you guys

    @MissVezzarina Před 8 lety +4

    1) darline (genuinely like this, think it needs a bit more umph towards the end though) ps. just watched some of the girls videos and they look great live singers!
    2) bianca (don't like the start but gets better and has the ending all the others need)
    3) joe and jake (modern if bland but could be improved)
    ....
    4) karl (bit too esc by numbers try hard for me but with a bit of work could see it working)
    personally i had hoped we would have a song with some kind of dance beat but thats my taste however i think this nf is a good step in the right direction for the uk and for me i would def vote for darline...just hope the bbc are willing to follow all this through and help the act that eventually wins improve as much before they get to the finals in may...also hope someone at the bbc has learnt how to stage and direct cameras this year!

    Its a start from the BBC... baby steps.
    Glad to see Karl, Bianca & Joe and Jake in your top 3 chaps.
    Was surprised with Darline getting the number 1 from you, personally I think we have seen and heard this format time and time again and It will get lost in such a huge final.
    Agree with your comments on Karl, I play this song over and over and it just needs some more "umph" in chorus to stand out.
    Love wiwibloggs keep up the good work x

    My top:
    1) "Until Tomorrow" - I love it, on a listen through this was the only one I wanted to replay because I loved it
    2) "When You Go" - I still quite like this, and I like the girls voice too
    3) "Miracle" - I don't really like it, but it's the best of what I see as four bad songs, and it might have potential with a revamp, but right now it's just no

    • @stars_aligning
      @stars_aligning Před 8 lety

      +Sister Phan Howlter Joe and Jake needs a really good chorus-something behind it. It just sounds like a build up to a chorus. I hope the money is just poured into the song that is entered.

  • @Robyn-r9s
    @Robyn-r9s Před 8 lety +2

    I don't know why, but "A Better Man" is legit my favourite. I think it's just nostalgic reasons, which is also why the song shouldn't be discounted.

  • @noway4427

    I expected so much more from the UK as it was one of the "Biggest searches" made by the BBC but their is one song that I absolutely love and that's Darline!
    Until tomorrow is so good! Country and the UK never usually fits but in this case it definetly does! In my opinion I love it.
    Bianca's song sounds like "Let it go" by James something. its not a bad song but I don't think its special
    Joe and jake is very forgetable for me.

    • @oswin1234
      @oswin1234 Před 8 lety

      +Aine Doc When the BBC say anything like "our biggest search ever", you'd do worse than to replace every word with "lies!"
      We are talking about an organisation that never point blank states "Such and such a show was rubbish. No one watched it. We cancelled it."

  • @davidwilding1993
    @davidwilding1993 Před 8 lety

    Karl William Lund/Miracle is the one I keep coming back too. The more I hear it the more I like it. I know some people say it doesn't have a big finish but I don't think it needs to, it is was it is and doesn't need any tweeking.

    I agree for top 1 I think it could surprise us because it is simular to The Netherlands entry in 2014 in my opinion. Country music is unique compared to all the moderny rock and pop songs :)

    I was expecting MUCH more from the "biggest search of history for BBC".
    I like Bianca's song, it's the most eurovision piece and quite original. But probably a bad result for UK this year, what a pity.

  • @AlesiaMichelle

    Matthew James gives me a "poor man's Robbie Williams" and it is sad because I feel like his vocals could be lent to something stronger... Hmmm.

    I was expecting a little bit more from UK...but of the 6acts my top 3 is:
    3: Joe and Jake / You're Not Alone
    2: Darline / Until Tomorrow
    1: Karl William Lund / Miracle
    Lets see what they can do on stage.

  • @coolyclo
    @coolyclo Před 8 lety

    I'm not a huge fan of Darline, but I think that's just because I don't like country music - I think with the right staging it could be brilliant though. My favourite so far is Joe and Jake, but I'd like to see all the songs performed live 😊

    Bianca is the only one that stood out for me... I think she's only the one with any hope of doing well!! The others just failed to make an impression! Oh gosh, hopefully the BBC will come back even stronger next year...

  • @adamtorok5825
    @adamtorok5825 Před 8 lety +4

    My favourites are You're not Alone and Miracle. I also like Until Tomorrow. And others are just ok, I expected better from a song co-written by the one and only Leona Lewis. Bianca's song is just bland.

  • @johnmclaughlan4994
    @johnmclaughlan4994 Před 8 lety

    I think in the public vote it will be between Darline and Joe and Jake. I would be happy with either. Although Joe and Jake just edge it for me as I think they would give a more powerful performance on the night. But not being a music expert etc I would say 4 of the 6 are ok for eurovision. Remember the normal viewer don't really think about production values etc. Can I sing along with it? Is it memorable? Those are some of the things that will make it successful. Oh and Jake is deffo the bottom guys 😉😂😀

  • @livingthelife42
    @livingthelife42 Před 8 lety

    I feel like I'm in the minority for liking "When you go" I love it's quirkiness and originality but I can understand why others wouldn't like it. Personally it's a song I would rate very high but I can't see it doing well with the rest of Europe, unfortunately.
    The only other song I like is Miracle. I think the UK could get a great score with that song - though only the live version will tell, it could sound terrible.
    The rest I don't like.

  • @willdrakeac
    @willdrakeac Před 8 lety

    Feel like Matthew James is really underrated!! I like that song, but they're all just a bit "meh". Like they'd probably all come a respectable 10th-ish, but no further up.
