- In this episode I tackle the biggest challenge of the build so far by chopping up one car to save another!
My new build is going to be the biggest challenge I’ve ever undertaken! Wish me luck this is not going to be easy…

Let’s get this one 15k likes and I’ll hustle to drop next weeks video this Sunday!
-EDIT-
Looks like I’ll be posting Sunday thanks for all your support!
I will do my best to share this video so we can see another video by Saturday.
I too will share this so we can get another video Friday.
You can count on it. 15k likes easy. Very interesting channel.
I like your videos because there is no faffing about. You talk, you work, and that's it. No 25min recap with 5 minutes of new content.
All killer. No filler.
Bribery won't work on me jack.... hurrying to like the video.😂
Jack’s like a ninja! One minute he’s here, next minute he’s helping mat! Getting that front to line up is so emotional! Great vid! Everyone let’s get this 15k likes! Would love to wake up Sunday to another vid!! 🎉
Forreal though!
He's time traveling 😅
I bet Mat is the one sending him the harness from UK, I mean, the loom
We are a lucky bunch at the moment. We have Fred, Matt and Jack. Who needs Top Gear. Nice job mate keep it going.
And many more, cleetus mcfarland, boosted boys, grind hard plumbing, matt offroad recovery, heavydspark etc
The Jack Attack on the Noble, this dude doesn’t sleep!
Nice MCM shirt...😉
ahhh...the casual supra sitting off to the side. I love it. Also can't wait to see the full transformation of this noble. It's going to be amazing.
Yeah the drift Supra. Don't tell anyone
@@justfly7730video coming soon
Must be nice lol love the channel!
Can’t wait for the MK4 Supra build as well! 😎👍💯🚗🛞💨💨
The "lets get jiggy with it." made me hit the like button.
Ditto! I made same comment.
As a Brit who loved Noble, I cannot wait to see this come to fruition. All that work to get the front-end transplant set up really paid off, the bolt holes of that jig were perfection. Given how much love got lavished on the Evo and Jack's high standard, this Noble is going to be bedroom-poster worthy.
It’s good for us viewers that you have Sema in the States - to keep you all motivated! 🙏👍🇬🇧
RIVETS!
Jack, save yourself a potential problem down the road. I can just feel the buzz or rattle from a random rivet(s) bouncing around in those tubes. Take the time to remove all those old rivets while you still can fairly easily.
Good point, plus some heavy wax oil internal treatment we’ll help stabilise any loose particles that remain trapped.
Jack, you sir, are a brave BRAVE man! looking forward to this project 👊
Shoutout to the cohost of this episode, the Milwaukee cordless sawzall!
But it's a Crapsman though...
Jack doesn’t just build. Jack also create’s. 🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
the foam is to reduce harmonics in the chassis. you dont want that thing to ring like a wind chime.
19:33 #MightyCarMods shirt 👌👌
Nice work, Jack! 👍 I'm a Autobody Technician, and i love your videos. Can't wait to see the finnish car.
The body work on the evo was crazy but this... this is just insane!
"Let's get jiggy with it" should be your new slogan to the channel!
Fantastic video again Jack. You're gold!
This channel has everything it needs to be a great success. Good builds on interesting cars with just the right amount of detail and entertainment and jack seems to be a nice likeable person and seems genuine. I wish you all the success in the world.
Okay, it's official imho, "jack builds it" is the best car build/rehab channel on the internet- sorry mat, sorry Freddy, but Jack is kicking ass with his builds and I think a ton of guys are living the car build dream through Jack with his videos. Plus, I think his work ethic may even be ahead of Mats as he is doing this all on his own. Still love Mat and Freddy, I couldn't do without them, but Jack is the king. P.S. don't even compare Jack etc with DDE or the like, they are not in the same league, Jack wipes the floor with them and I hope his channel dwarfs theirs very soon!
The Noble looks like a random backyard project. I know you are gonna make it 100x better
Bro you are a true craftsman. That jig is phenomenal
Jack is killing it with his channel. Great project, great production, great host!
There is one major advantage to putting in all the hard work of disassembly by yourself: you'll know where everything came from. Team teardowns can lead to a lot of chaos when it comes time to build the final project.
YES to stare time!!! I do this on projects and can 100% confirm this gas saved projects from being completely abandoned... with the most memorable being a conversion that was saved by "stare time" leading to the idea of a 40mm adaptor plate made from 1/4" steel plate... car back on the road!!
This is an awesome build - I think you need to get tony out to help with it. He will understand the crazy British engineering on these beasts.
As a casual machinist, I don't associate a grinder and saws-all with precision, but in Jack's hands, they come close!
That saw and welder are doing god's work. Hope we get those 15k likes! :D
@8:14 The moment when you realize that for once Murphy's law isn't verified and yes, everything that should have gone wrong is actually going right! Congrats Jack, hard work is rewarded, and you deserve it, I can wait to see the whole thing finally done!
Those big holes under your seats are where I was recommending steel floor pans.
How about your CZcams name?
@@jackbuildsit Steel is where it's at for crash protection.
Looking more confident @jack! Builds are great , keep em commin!
Great impro on the jig, can't believe how small the gaps were when you offered the two frames together. Tidy welding also. This car when you get finished will be a go-cart and will skittle everything you put it up against on a race track. It's going to be killer. Love the content and learning lots from you.
Also my thoughts, so good result…
Thumbs up for the MightyCarMods shirt 👍 A colab needs to happen! Super Turbo nugget supercar
Jack you should get a Nobel Piece Prize for that work 😁👌
i remember when doing a car build meant lowering the suspension, changing the wheels and putting a tinted sun strip thing on the windscreen...
Jack you've got carried away m8.
Impressive work
Dear Sir Jack !! A Great Job !! ...........Bless You & You're Team
I was always curious about the Noble, and now I can see them from the inside out! I am impressed that everything aligned so easy, the jig idea was great, let`s hope I never need to do that, but at least now I know how 🙂 thanks for showing so much detail and congrats! This will be awesome!
Jack, it is amazing to see where you have come from to where you are since you where asking Freddy about camera in your first days! Also! So cool to see you in all the other places. You are a star! ⭐️ You should also visit Stradman and give him a few tips.
BR from Norway
Great to see Jack saving another great British sports car 👍🇬🇧
Oh man, I was hoping these were gonna be M600s!
That car is DOPE!
Always great to watch your videos on body work Jack. You're always on point when it comes to bodywork. Can't wait to see the full build of this Noble. Great work here❤❤❤❤🎉
🙏
I am so glad to see someone working with nobles! The m600 is my one of my number one cars ever and I love the m400 also! Keep it up!
"Stair time" I love it, I've been staring at my decking project for the last 3 years 😄
Shame on you Gerry! (I’ll be 70 soon and Arthritis is already kicking in, so my advice is: “just do it!”🙏😁
NAUGHTY Jack :-)
Don't use a tape measure for precise measurements, Use an Engineers straight edge or steel ruler.
I learned the hard way that tape measures can be WAY off, 5mm in my case..... replacing a front subframe leg.
Love your work mate!
Excellent work getting those frames to line up so well. The jig was well thought out and it paid off. I love the complete absence of half assery. I remember reading reviews of both the M12 and M400 in Evo magazine years ago. One of the better driving mid-engine chassis of the time as I remember. Your Noble should be tons of fun on mountain roads once it's finished. I think I still have those magazines stashed away here - I'd be happy to dig 'em up and send them your way if you're interested Jack. Just let me know. Cheers!
Dude…
I used to do “house-lifts”… was a general contractor in Seattle. I grew up learning how to build/construction. In 2016 I watched/worked with a dude doing house lifts. Sat back, watched the process and started my own business. Super fun figuring out curiosity. I learned quite a bit. Thanks for your enthusiasm for your passion
Literally spot on? I thought Noble was British. Nothing should line up. Truly are better than OEM
I see thumbnail. "I cant fix this"
First thing that pops into head is Jack saying "..but I can make it better than factory. That's enough talking. Lets get to work."
Totally agree that "stare time" is one of the most important aspects of a project. Completely underrated skill that takes time to develop.
😂 I also do stare time, have done for years.
End of the day sit back with a beer and some music just looking at progress and the next steps to see what has been missed
So cool Jack! Always thought Nobles were super cool so this has been to follow! Can’t wait to see everything you do to finish this, after watching the whole Evo build I’m guessing it’s going to be special!
Can’t wait to see this thing finished. I haven’t seen a noble in like 20 years. I remember the day I last saw one because it’s the day my brother got his lotus Elise (original body type).
Love that you support mightycarmods. Jack this build is coming out great so far. If it's anything like the lancer, it'll be another banger. Keep up the great work and keep being you. We are here to support you!
Hi jack being a panel beater myself i take my hat off to you tube frame chassis are a beast all of their own also glad to see you rocking the MCM t shirt cheers from down under
Best comment I could think of: this is Master Class work, both on the car and the video editing. Oh, and "Let's not do that again this year. I'm probably going to do that again this year."
This fucking guy!!! He makes it look so easy with his skills. We all bow!! When he put the car down it was perfect. The way Jack comes up with a plan. Then explains as he's doing the work make anyone feel like you could almost do this with a facetime if shit got a little iffy. The most difficult build on The Tube yet joining two race cars to make one. That harness had to go. You guy know a guy that does wiring harness that are so PRO. Jack is the best.
Love how Jack shows all his prep work people just think oh let’s just cut it and shut it..
Noble undertaking man. In every sense.
Jack is my favorite car youtuber, the level of professionalism and attention to detail when rebuilding is better than factory. Hat down man!
What a monumental task. There can't be too many Nobles in the US. My neighbour has an early one. Wonderful cars.
I love jack's channel he is like a artist and a engineer rolled into I like his videos before I watch them never disappointed
Love seeing the sun visors still attached!
Jack you look rather clean and smart for an expert car builder, which just proves “you can’t judge a book by its cover” !! Live long and prosper buddy! 🖖🇬🇧
Freddy knows all about wiring harnesses I'm sure he's got your back!
Can we get Jack to work on that moon train? Pretty sure he could knock it out in a few episodes. ;)
Way to go Jack! Living the wrenching dream🎉
4:41 Jacks jig is awesome ❤
Not really a car person except knowing how to drive but like seeing stuff like this. Awesome stuff. Especially the dance move to lower the welding face shield
I'm sure that you'll be finished with several minutes to spare. Ha ha ha
Jack really feels like a guy you WANT to like. And I’m happy to do that. 😊👍👍
Wow!! Precision!! That was a really good video. Looking forward to the next one.
Amazed the seat rail bolt holes lined up 👍
you’re insane Jack! incredible skill set, awesome to see
Well done Jack! A fabulous effort. I can’t wait to see the next stage. Cheers.
Jack ! You are a multi talented person- is there anything you can’t do ? Very impressed 👌
The people that don't actually work in this sector really don't understand the sheer amount of work this takes.
Doing it on your own in front of a camera is amazing to share with the world well done and can't wait for the next video
Well done jack
Jack, you are an artist. Only way to put it.
I get the staring at it part. I've done that my entire life. I'll stare at something, not really thinking much, then, Wham! I will have an epiphany, and off I go. I solved some really big problems in life and at work with that method. Some people poo-poo it, but it works for me. It's hard to argue results. My son is the same way...and my wife laughs at him too.
Welds looking so good respect for your work
Jack, Army of one... Nothing Like Tava,Dis days
Love your Aussie t-shirt.
Starting a drinking game every time JACK says I'M TIRED take a shot.
The absolute cackle when you separated the first car's front and back halves was fantastic. Moments like those are what make builds like these so memorable.
Loving g this build jack !! Love the tshirt too ! Epic build can't wait to see the car finished !!
Can't wait to see that all cleaned up and the body put on! It is racecar enough to be a track-focused car, but what would you decide? This better be done before Freddy's P1 first drive!
A JACK U REALLY GETTING GIGI JACK. CAN'T WAIT 4 SUNDAY FLICK 🙌
Super excited about this build and loving the #mightycarmods T shirt.
Feeling your pain Jack, great job with the homemade Jig, would have thought the next stage would be cleaning up and painting the new to the car charcoal frame,
Dude you are super talented. Can do anything with bodywork, I've said it before. Genius. Also I do stare time. I understand this. Go Jack
I would 100% ask Freddy nicely for the 355 engine and capristo exhaust he has. A car with those looks needs the sound!
Hi Jack! Recently started watching Freddy's P1 project and saw you were working on your Evo. I had to watch that! And now I done watched all of your videos! Your skills are amazing and you and your people are doing wonders with these cars so I just wanted so hi! Can't wait for next episode!
Look at project binky, obsession motor sport, brackets and jigs 🙏🏻👍🏻 Nick is the master of jigs and brackets 😅👍🏻🙏🏻😊
Precision is the key to this coming out right
Jack is truly..... A "Noble" Man! This proves it! 😁👍👍👍👍👍
Repin that MCM shirt with a clean cut, lookin good Jack! Love the Channel, you got this!
Can't wait to see how the car come's together. Grate work by the way love noble ever since seeing it on Top Gear many years ago. I bet you will have a massive smile on your face the first time you drive it.
nice welding jack !! showing off some skills .
Fantastic job. I can't wait to see this build thru.
Jack, your pure enthusiasm and excitement is contagious! Keep up the hard work.
Loving the series man!
