Great tutorial. I’m having trouble with Supercomp on 3d cameras, I think that’s not supported yet, right? With supercomp I realized all the disadvantages that AE had compared to Nuke. It’s so great to have this plugin now!
victor velasco - I actually go into this a bit in the next Cheap Tricks (which comes out tomorrow!) Plug-ins like Element and the Trapcode suite interact with the camera and work in Supercomp - if you pre-compose your 3D layers and check the continuous raster gear, they should work in Supercomp. My understanding is that the way Adobe renders its native 3D layers is actually a secondary ‘render’ step which isn’t accessible at the moment. But that’s just my understanding, not official knowledge.

This is the best of this series so far! Thankyou for taking the time to break down each shot slowly, and saying how you can accomplish vfx with or without Red Giant tools. (Love Red Giant, but I don't have all of their tools). The 'zombie horde' technique will be perfect to create a crowd of people for a law enforcement video I am doing for work!

Can you add the shadow effects on an actor instead or does it have to be a 3d model? tutorial starts around 26:11

We've rolled color matching, light wrap, and a bunch of other tools into Supercomp. You can do a whole heck of a lot more in there than the old way.
