- Holy fireballs, batman! Learn how to bring some fire spells into your footage in this episode of Cheap Tricks.
In the next few episodes of Cheap Tricks, Hashi a.k.a. Action Movie Kid will show you how to recreate many of the effects seen on the show using the VFX Suite and a ton of great tools and techniques. In this first episode, we’ll focus on 2 shots revolving around fire magic.
We’re also using a bunch of elements from @ActionVFXofficial - a huge set of stock VFX elements we use in house, at Red Giant.

Can you give a tutorial on how to make things look less "VFXy". I want the fire to look like fire, not like a after effects commercial
I just bought Trapcode, VFX and Magic Bullet on the summer sale and I'm currently practicing with Particular and Form and wanted to try that Motion sketch idea. However I searched the whole effects library and I don't have it. I also have a CC Subscription so all my apps are up to date. Any help finding it? Please? Anyone? Is it removed in current verisons?

I must be missing something - Supercomp doesn't recognize 3D layers he said but he made the background 3D layers for 2.5d depth...I'm confused.
He added the precomp which is 2d

What a cool vfx. Nowdays technology in making movies are more easier if compared to few decades ago. But I'm still wonder why some of movie productions still producing a lame or suck efx in their film? ? 🤔
You know that it makes no sense if your background is 3D and you animate it, but your actor angle doesnt move in same angle as background it doesn't make sense :D
Seems this is making it harder. It would be a lot easier to just do it for real. Find a forest, get a fog machine, etc..

Lol yeah the last two seasons game of thrones season truly used cheap effects. The last season didn't even bother to key things correctly
Really cool software, but the end result is far from looking okay as a vfx shot. If I did something like that the director will kick my ass out.
Well he did say nothing in the shot was mind-blowing at the end. But I treat these videos and new techniques and ideas Inspiration mostly anyways. Besides they're mostly just a bunch of cheap tricks
