You can try out hand modelling or specific stuff like face modelling for accesories and jewellery. And hair modelling works too, if you have nice hair. I think at the end of the day they want variety and inclusivity in models as they are the face of the brand so don't give up, I'm pretty sure you'll be an amazing model!

Keep trying I’m 4’11 and 15 if you have a good walk they’ll give u a chance for a at least a runway,I’m not signed but I’ve done multiple runways and photo shoots due to my “uniqueness” so find something and use it whether it be your face or walk
Don't forget that essentially anyone can be a photo model - from stock photography to haute art, you're always bound to fit at least one photographer's aesthetic. The only requirement is knowing how to pose, go with the flow and know your strong angles

I think brands need petite models too. They probably aren't the most sought after group for modeling but I'm petite and I buy petite clothing in stores.
I did modeling for book covers as a kid and it was really fun. It something anybody any hight or facial structure can do as books usually have backs turned or want regular people to represent relatable characters

Hey just so u know, these are just the industry standards, if ur willing to model for less (or no money at first) u can find plenty of independent and more avant garde designers who want to challenge the status quo, im a fashion design student myself and i just use my friends/ anyone i know who has a unique look for modelling, and even if i somehow eventually got a big brand in the future id still want to use a diverse range of models and would give anyone with the right attitude a chance, the more you stray from the mainstream brands the more designers u will find with my view.
I'm plus sized and it's really frustrating how little work there is in the modeling industry for plus sized people - especially if you're not an hourglass figure
Also the fact it’s so hard to find models with different body types on online shopping stores. Makes it impossible to tell what something may look like on you.
If your dream is to work in modeling then lose weight or move on. It may suck but thats reality, take it or leave it. You have the opportunity to fix the issue, things like height are harder to work with.

Curve Models do TONS more then just lingerie, if any at all. Though a great outline, there’s much more to the modeling industry, I’m a 5’9 full-time curve model and have only done 1 lingerie shoot (that was my choice to even shoot), but I serve as a high fashion model. This video is a great loose outline, every model truly finds out they’re full potential once they begin their journey. DON’T take any of these outlines as a make for break for you, like they almost did for me! Instead use as as some more potential avenues of work.
Try it. It seems every model says "I never thought I could model" then they do. Just try find an agency tell them what you're looking to do and ask how to do it or find online hand models who could help.
Remember you can be a petite model too, I modeled for a small business that only catered to petite women (I’m 4’11 and a size 10/12) They unfortunately closed down when Covid hit so I can’t name them but hopefully they will get things started again soon, the founder said she was coming out bigger and better next time.

I'm 5'3 and I was offered to model in Taiwan eventhough I'm English because the beauty standards are different, so you could model if you have friends in all different countries!
True.. a lady can up to me a few years ago and said I should model in East Asian countries because her daughter does and her daughter was a similar height to mine. But didn’t know how to get into it 🤷🏼♀️
I could either be a skincare model or a sportswear model (I’m a competitive swimmer and I have great skin)
