After Out of Focus, I knew I'd have to look out for more xXLOCOXx bangers, and this is just that-a banger. To spoil the level for you, it's all made entirely backwards. All the gameplay is backwards, and even the icons and pads animate backwards. Everything is custom to work perfectly for this purpose. He reached out to me and asked if I wanted to upload it first, along with reversed footage, and I couldn't do anything but accept considering the perfect execution. The song was made by him too, which may sound weird when playing, but it sounds quite good reversed. There's literally nothing to complain about for how he executed the concept.
This is all without mentioning all the other good things this level does. The art is phenomenal throughout the level. Making still art look this great is one thing, but he also included some insane animations in every part, such as the water and lightning at 0:25 and the grass and flowers at 1:30. This would have been an amazing level even without the backwards gimmick, but that just takes it to another level. The effort put into this is insane, and it shows. Sure, the gameplay can be a bit confusing at first considering its backwards nature, and I hope people don't encounter any bugs. It worked perfectly for me. With everything in mind, this can't get anything but an Epic rating. It will probably be 7 stars.

This is some insane stuff, I am absolutely blown away. The decoration is rather simple still so effective, the details are amazing just everything is executed to almost perfection.

YO. i was fully entertained the whole way through, this level is complex in its simplicity, but simple in its complexity
I feel like this level is a legendary rating, not just for the awesomely detailed deco, but for the concept and how it's marvelously executed.
xXLOCOXx has brought very interesting ideas to the table and executed them, but this one is mind-blowing to me. I love the fact that it feels as if we’re on rewind and going back to the time before the storm. The decoration’s very good and the gameplay’s both very sight-readable easy, making it accessible to all players, but the rewinding is what sells the level for me. Hopefully Loco will continue to blow our minds, as this is something I’ve never seen been done and executed to this level in GD before! :)

This is one of the coolest concepts I’ve seen for a level in a while, and the execution of it is near flawless. I love how even the reversed jumps follow the cube physics perfectly but in reverse, it really shows how the creator committed to the concept. It’s really all the little details like that which really nail in the execution of this backwards concept. The breaking blocks in the ship and the attempt sign at the end (or beginning depending on how you see it) are also good examples of how much the little details in this level really drive the concept home.
Not only is the idea super well executed, but the level itself is fantastic too. The creator could have easily focused purely on the gimmick and let the decoration take a backseat, but they didn’t do that at all. All the art is super clean, and the saturated colors make it feel very lively.
This is definitely one of the rare levels that really blows me away. What a great level, I’ll definitely remember this one for a long time.
Edit: I just realized that this is the same creator as Out of Focus. Come to think of it, these two levels actually share a lot of parallels. Both have unique and creative concepts with near flawless execution. Really shows how dedicated to quality this creator is.

This is genuinely one of the most creative concepts I saw in this game.
Every little detail about this level is perfect, I can't believe it!
It amazes me that after eight years of this game being out, creators are still able to come up with original and interesting ideas that have almost never been done before. most of the time when a new and original idea is made in a level, the execution isn't always the best. But for this level that is certainly not the case. As mentioned in the description, XxLOCOXx made custom assets and other necessary tweaks to really make it feel like you were traveling backwards. It just feels significantly more polished and thought out compared to other experiment and original levels. that's not to say that other levels are inferior, in fact I think that comparing levels to each other isn't something that should ever be done. I'm just really impressed to see how well this level was executed.
The designs the theming and execution with all of the visuals is nothing short of perfect. When you travel into the field filled with hills and ruins or really any part of the level, you really feel like you are there, and that is one of the most important things in any themed level. I'm exited to see more from this creator because they clearly know what they are doing.
My expectations were very high, because I knew what amazing and especially unique levels xXLOCOXx is able to build.

I don’t thinking I’ve ever seen something like this before. The concept of a level being played in reverse is such a unique idea.
Especially after realizing that all the physics and the song make sense if you put the video footage in reverse makes this all even better.
Even without this amazing concept, there’s such a beautiful and lovely design here.
Everything’s very clean and well executed. This level will definitely get an epic rate as it is just beautiful in my eyes and super original.

the detail that was put in the players backwards animations is astounding, to the point that it looks completely realistic when played forward, thats extreme props and attention to animation detail.

When I saw the thumbnail, I said, hey that looks like cool art, I’ll check this out. This was was more than cool art. This was an imaginative masterpiece. I’ve rarely been more blown away more than I was In the last minute or so. I will definitely be reviewing this at some point.
This is one of the greatest levels I've seen. It's so simple but it's also so complex at the same time. A true masterpiece, and something that'll be remembered for years to come.

One of my new favorite levels. Everything looks pretty awesome but the unique nature of the level expands the quality tenfold in my mind. I wish more creators would do never before seen concepts like these and step out of their comfort zones (which is honestly advice I myself could use lmao)
This is one of the levels that are on the next level when it comes to this sort of Art style its just that the clouds part was amazing and i have no words for the rest of it, but thanks to Loco for making this inspirational level.

I just want to point out the fact that in the reversed footage the death sound effect is the same - This means that in the original level, the song STARTS with an inverted version of the death sound effect. xXLOCOXx clearly took advantage of his strengths as both a creator and a musician to get this level to us.
