    we cant Thank you enough Dr Mohan , for the big relief you have brought to diabetics by providing credible and effective medical care as well as sharing such relevant knowledge which helps us , given the vast amount of junk information and harmful on social media. Can ground nuts, almonds, flax /sunflower/pumpkin seeds etc be eaten regularly to boost nutrition in diabetics?

    Thanks for very insightful and useful information sir. The information you provide on you channel is really helpful. The good thing is that you are providing this information with Indian context. I have one question. I keep hearing opposite views on Raggi for diabetic persons. Some says that it is not good as it raises sugar while others says that it has high fiber and many other useful minerals etc. so it is good. Can you please cover it in one of your videos ?

    2:40 - Actually, carrots GI is a bit on the high side... It's their GL (Glycemic Load) that is low... That makes "the trick"...

    Sir …thank you for demystifying the myths. Now , as you rightly said that carrot and beet root etc can be consumed in raw form in limited portion but how about Poriyal or sabzi made out of carrot or beet root ? Also there are many Indian preparations where carrots are included as one of the ingredients like sambhar etc …can we eat them in the Cooke form without worry . Kindly clarify the same in your future videos about raw vs cooked form for the same set of vegetables .

    What is high GI for diabetic patients? GI should be below 55 to 60?

      GI and GL are related to food you eat. GI is a measure to understand how quick the food raises blood sugars. It is recommended to have food below the GI of 50

      Unripe mangoes can be taken more than ripe ones coz GI of unripe is 52-54 and ripe is 56 so can be consumed

    Hi sir I am 31 yrs. old 99 kgs and hieght 172 cm . detected 7.4 Hb1ac on 13.04.2023 and 6.4 was on September 2022 and I gained around 7 kgs in this period . Earlier my hb1ac had never crossed 5.5. Shall I be considered a diabetic person ? . Moreover the period in which I gained weight involved heavy alcohol drinking and junk eating. Now I have left alcohol and junk and moved to simple diet and walking for 45 daily … so much time will it take to control and hb1ac to 5 again ? And yes plz do also advise am o considered a diabetic person now ?

    For 58 years old type2 diabetic female, with recently taken hba1c 7.3 is 8,000 steps plus physiotherapy exercises for 1 hour enough? 1200 calories enough ? Please guide
