  • This is just a short update on the 88 FXRS. I installed a new single fire ignition system. I also talk about my plans for new oil lines.
    80in Evo
    9.5:1 Keith Black forged pistons
    Andrews EV27 cam
    Power House Plus (twin tec) single fire ignition
    Arlen Ness Competition series 2 into 1
    High flow Air cleaner.

    As a moto guzzi owner, I always get a chuckle out of harley davidson owners concerned or messing around with oil lines and fittings.

    Where did you get your oil lines and fittings? I'm getting ready to do a frame up build.

      I actually just bought a cheap kit on Amazon. I have already received them and the quality is really good.

    What oil and weight you gonna run? Cooler? I'd like to run an oil cooler but a good one like Jegs ain't cheap.

      I have been using mobile 1 synthetic for vtwins and it has been working well on my bikes. The Evo doesn't run too hot, but I'll have to see how it goes in the summer...it's pretty hot in Florida.
      That being said, we are moving to Tennessee this year so that's exciting from a riders perspective.
