    love this, I've watched a lot of videos on swimbait building and design - made and fished several for myself; but this is very innovative! as much as I appreciate it and your channel, don't give away all your tips, LOL!

    Thanks for sharing this GREAT system with us. Is tank-testing each segment independently a critical step? Other lure makers seem to test the entire jointed bait. But, few of them get the EXTRAORDINARY swimming action you do in your three-jointed wakebaits, so maybe your more exhaustive technique is essential?

      Yes independent testing tells you if the bait will want to bind or not by the way it wants to sink.👍😉

      @@lureup9973 Thanks for the follow-up, Todd; your testing "regimen" now makes PERFECT sense. I'm embarrassed that I never thought of the hinge-binding issue.
