I got 1500 watt RMS amp and 1250 rms sub I do have a v8 with a little juicer battery and alternator then say something smaller but when I am bumping hard I do get some flickering and voltage drop adding a 2.5 farad cap little baby one off Amazon lets see if it even does anything if that don’t won’t just going to get a 2nd battery I guess

What’s this inverter I need one I have a 2012 infinity M37x with a 3500 watt amp and 2 12s I have a full throttle and a yellow top in the back and then my main agm in the front I think the inverter is a good idea I don’t want to tear my car apart

Let me help you it takes 100 amps per 1000 watt so if you have a 2300 you should get a 300 amp alternator with a 3300 watt battery in back no less then 3000 watt battery and you will get all that power out of your amp I promise you if I could go back a alternator would be the first thing I would of bought! But I have a a bass 3k did the big 3 and got a 3300 watt battery and still needed more power so upgraded the alt and added another battery now I get it all so just imagine if you just doing a 5k you would need a 450 plus some batteries to make up for the xtra 50 watts just to truly push it!

Not really as of now I’m team taramp until otherwise just not about to pay 1000 plus I’ve put in countless months and days but just kept coming back to these amps if I wouldn’t of got the bass 3k it would of been probably the skar SK 3500!
If I'm adding a 1500watt sub Amp and a 500 watt 4 channel would I need a bigger alternator than stock???
@@herbwash3139 if you drive a car they typically have a 180 amp alt so you should be fine but it still always a good idea to upgrade and get an extra battery because you'll eventually want to be louder. A truck may have a bit bigger of an alt but still.
But what if your ecu rejects the high amps from new alternator
