Tim, since you don't have a dual battery set up (on this video anyway), have you run the winch at all? I plan on running a set of upper lights onto the top roll bar because I have the same rack from Moses and want to have my signals and brakes visible. I assume 14 gauge wire is acceptable to add 2 oval 6" lights to the turn signal system?
Hi Kevin, yes I've used the wench several times now. I still only have the original single battery. After speaking with Honda engineeres they confirm that ever accessory Honda offers will function as designed as long as the engine is running. I can attest to that. I've had everything going and have't had a single issue. Feel free to call me anytime. My phone number is (623) 640-4853
I manufacture and distribute the brackets. You can buy the directly from me or from Lytle Racing Group or on eBay The Part number is HP917100018 There are several Honda Pioneer Groups on Facebook. Hi Rodney, I appreciate your interest. Email me at timsalts@gmail.com and I'll reply with the details. I make two runs a day seven days a week. I'll send you a kit immediately.
Matt Unknown it’s absolutely ridiculously bright. I laugh every time I turn it on. It literally reminds me of lighting up a baseball diamond. I have three CZcams videos, part 2 and part 3 Part 3 was done at night. I’ll do another one at night on the trails this fall.
Richard Weber Hi Richard, it’s a LED lighted frame with a pair of Rigid mounting brackets. I looked at several cheaper options but this set up looked the best. The entire set up was just under $100 I have three CZcams videos, Part 2 shows me tugging on it. It is very solid and stable. I manufacture and sell the upper light bar mounting brackets and now the new plug and play reverse light kit. Feel free to call me anytime if you have any questions (623) 640-4853 Thanks again for your interest.
How did you wire the 54” light bar to the oem Honda switch plate? Did you use a relay? That light bar is way over 10 amps which is the max supported by the oem switch.
Gary voigt you’re pretty close...lol It’s a 54” Curved one from Nilight. I’ll attach the listing from Amazon. www.amazon.com/dp/B012G0CEC8?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf&fbclid=IwAR2_-zEtaN48MJXGzcdhFjEc4YD4dUxLNgDxITyeNj26gbuusG8nQoVcrZs
yes a very nice setup indeed... i'am going to install a heater in mine...Honda does not have the best reputation for a good heater....to many gaps in the doors and so forth... in a Polaris it will cook you out but not Honda...just so so as I understand... also can you give me a link on your front and rear light pods and blue tooth? also all the switches you used...yours in one of the best setups I have seen yet.. did you do most of the work yourself? thanks, Gary
I try to use as much factory (OEM) accessories as possible. I only stray away and use aftermarket when the factory doesn't offer what I want. All the LED lights are Honda except the 54' Curved one. After extensive research, I discovered Laser Star is the manufacture for the Honda lights. I went to them directly looking for the 54" They don't make a curved one. I'm pleased with the one we chose from Nilight. The switch panel is also from Honda, they are quite proud of it lol. I like the look and defiantly the placement. You loose that little storage compartment but with the under dash storage you have plenty of room for stuff. I manufacture and distribute the Upper Light Bar Brackets. Let me know if you'd like a kit. @@minnesotaoutdoorsnorth
