I absolutely love Paul. From his clothing fashion to his story telling, he is awesome. I'm glad I found this channel
Me too!
Me three
The three amigos ride again!!!
Me four!
Watching you laugh at the Duke getting up was everything.
I love how you tell these old stories in such a captivating manner. Feels TV worthy.
TV is nothing to what we have nowadays😊
I really appreciate everything on your channel, it's a delight listening to you! Greetings from Romania!
What's everyone working on while listening to this? I'm making a tiny little dollhouse.
I finished up my evening exercises; now, I can relax & listen. I hope your small dollhouse turned out nicely 🙂
About to sleep
Studying paleography for my exams
@@yanappeltje6777 thank for sending me down a fresh rabbit hole! Cool area of study ✨
@@sandyjamison5929 still working on it! It's so tiny! Thank you, hope you enjoyed your evening ❤️
I watched this when it first came out. Just stopped back by to watch you to get it and tell you I really appreciate you. My life is not particularly stressful, but my mental state tries to convince me that it is and so I find your voice in demeanor and especially your sense of humor truly calming and perhaps sometimes even life-saving. Thank you!
You said it so much better than I ever could have, every syllable. Thank you.
I am the direct descendent of 2 witches hung in Salem, john proctor, and sara good. Thank you for the tale of my ancestors.
My 11x g-grandmother was there too (Sussanah North Martin).
@@drafter3412My kid and my husband are your cousins, then, if my FIL is to be believed or if family stories are accurate.
Probably far, far, distant cousins, lol.
@@Annie_Annie__ Well heck, say 'hi' to the cousins then! :D
I find it ironic that KING JAMES first wrote a book about witches then wrote the KING JAMES BIBLE for which they made him a SAINT. curious-er how he was a well known homosexual yet in his bible he denounces it as a SIN.
Wow!!! Family reunion ❤!
Love your stories. From an old American.
❤ As a dog lover and an owner of one which follows me everywhere I go, you have saved the best for last. Hugs thank you from Nebraska, USA.
The dog stories got me so much. They're so sweet.😭
Beddgelert i'm afraid is a Victorian construct designed to bring in tourists & visitors. Though it is a good yarn, btw i live down the road in Nth Wales.
Your so great at this dark genre. Well done everyone . Production , editing , voice over , on screen performance, subject materials .
A+++ on all .
Congratulations and God bless you all
I LOVE these long compilation videos! Thank you so much for all of your hard work
When you started to tell stories of dogs, I had hoped to hear about little Bobby. When visuting in Scotland, I read the story, visited the graves and the statue of Grey Friar's Bobby. Yay, thank you!!! Love that one!!!
I love a man educated intelligent and has a gift of telling interresting stories of the past
I never miss your videos! I might add you have a perfect narration voice.🤗😊
Thank you Paul you’re stories are absolutely amazing
I have quickly become addicted to this talented gentleman reading all these stories...a true talent 😂😂😊
The stories about the dogs are amazing. But I’m still a cat person. Lol
😊🎉 8:18 😅😅🎉😅😢😅😊
The segment about the dogs illustrates well that we do not deserve them. One was murdered by a human, another one abused, third lost and obviously not looked for.
Saves his owners son from a wolf and that's the thanks he gets!!!
1st is pure Victorian fiction, that us Welsh well know was imagined to bring in tourist £££s. The story is attributed to a local hotelier & really would a medieval prince leave his son & heir alone? where were the guards + servants + women? They know the year this story appeared 19C, though a good tale!! Bye & good luck.
Aaaand now I'm bawling my eyes out over the dog stories
Love your videos. they are beautifully narrated. Greetings from South Africa 😊
The Faithful dog stories are my favorite of all!
I just adore you Paul! You are so talented 💖 love from the USA!
You are AMAZING! I love it when you break down and start laughing. These stories are so crazy and sometimes so sad, but you keep it interesting and I just love the way you share... you make my day! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these long ones ~Warmest alohas ~ Diana
This will be wonderful to fall asleep to tonight! Thank you for that 😊❤️
Thank you Paul for your wonderful stories! I could listen to you 24/7 . I love your accent.. You're great.❤
Tears!!! Dogs are such a blessing
Thank you for this, Paul - especially the tales of our wonderful, four-legged friends! It is well-timed, considering the tale that we in the US have recently been forced to endure, of a less fortunate pup named Cricket.
I could listen to this man talk about history all day
Painting the kitchen and listening.😊
Hope you're making the sandwiches woman
@@JayPea-lk5rt nope barbecue beef with peas and onions.
Excellent history channel ❤
The dog stories caught me right in the soft spot 🥹
I feel really sorry for Jeffery Pike, totally understand why he self deleted. Thanks for another interesting video, love your accent ❤
I would definitely be interested in hearing more stories from both world wars.
Oh boy, the time just flew by when I listened to this video and your soothing voice, sir.
Excellent, some decent to listen to this evening to drift of to sleep to .such a soothing voice .❤❤❤
Like granddad tellin stories by the fire.
I cannot understand how anybody could listen to you and fall asleep! Every time I listen to one of your videos I learned something new and I love learning. Thank you very much.
But he's so comforting....🥰
I know! And I don’t understand why some people think it’s a compliment to tell him that his hard work puts them to sleep! I find his videos really interesting.
It is not an insult to tell someone their work helps you to relax and go to sleep...it is basically like a bedtime story and his voice is soothing. All he cares about is that people ENJOY his work, no matter if they sit on the edges of their seats or use it for relaxing at bedtime.
Sometimes I tune out if I’m working on a project while listening because his voice is such a lovely background hum that isn’t overly distracting.
But that just means I get to rewind several minutes back and re-listen to the part I tuned out on.
I’m pretty sure that when I listen to some parts multiple times, it just increases his watch time by that little bit, lol.
I always pick something I’m interested in with a soothing narrator to fall asleep to. Paul and his programs are so good and I hope he’s not insulted that we like to sleep with him.
Really enjoy these compilations and your narration on them is superb
I love these compilations! Long stretches of that lovely voice! Wonderful!
Plus I get the wonderful illusion that I'm sitting right there with Paul being entertained and enthralled
Dear Mr. Brodie as I ready for bed, I tune into your weekly video to hear your wonderful stories. Your excellent Scots brogue takes me back to my 16th century 18th Grandfather, John Morrison of Lewis Island off the West coast of Scotland. Through you I can imagine what he looked and sounded like! He must have prospered in whatever business he had because at one time he owned Dairsie Castle and lost it to hs creditors. Thank you for bringing me so much pleasure in my old age. I will be 87 years young next November.
Excited for the post. Enjoy your videos so much, I watch them over and over.
I can’t with the dog stories 😭😭
In one word Spectacular! Thank you for the great entertainment😑
Great compilation, as always!
But the pup stories...Let's just say I had gotten dust in my eyes!💖💔
I always look forward to your stories, Paul. Thank you.
Wow. I live in Oxfordshire and just a stones throw away from Lambourn, however I had never heard of the anti-machine riots! So fascinating ❤️
Not me crying over these loyal pups
I really enjoy your programs, I try to remember to "thumbs up" on each one. Your comment at the end mentioning more stories about WWII would be fantastic.
Another good time, sir. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I live in Buckinghamshire so its always great to hear stories from my neck of the woods or nearby 😊
Love compilation videos! Your voice relaxes me and helps me sleep. I also listen to them while i crochet, keeps my mind engaged while my hands are busy.
The best thing on CZcams
Indeed!
I just needed something to listen to while getting dinner ready! Perfect timing!
Having steak?
What's for dinner?
I couldn't imagine sleeping while watching this either.❤
Love Pauls work very listenable too. Thankyou Paul ❤
I live in Abington northampton it's so strange to think that the park I take my children to play in was once a place of such horrors thank you for such wonderful historical story telling
Thank you sir,
Old nostalgic stories that make yesteryear seem so civil to today…😂
There is nothing more sad than a dog who outlines his human. They almost never see humans die poor.things. when they do I think they just don't know what to make of it.
Thank you for supplication of something to listen to into my slumber.
”If you weigh the same as a duck, then, logically, you're made of wood and must be a witch.” 😂
I did an ancestry test and traced my roots back to the Mayflower and the Salem trials. One family member was a signatory to the mayflower… I was blown away by my history.
Always get excited when I get your notification. Thank you!
You are just brilliant -I always look forward to every video!! Thank you for your work
Good evening, Paul. I'm more of a cat person, but absolutely loved your "Tales About Tails" segment. Heartwarming and always lovely to hear good news for a change, instead of the typical doom and gloom that is the present state of our planet. Occasionally, I see a heroic kitty or bird story(those are fun as well 😺). Thx for another video and keep up the good work, Paul!
Sarah
I didn't get far , i fell asleep😂. Im casting this to my tv to watch in full , feet up and a cup of tea . Paul has a lovely voice i get very relaxed listening to him and the inevitable happens😴😴😴😴 ... Thank you for bringing history to life and the good quality sleep 😂
You made me crack up !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 life is hatching matching and dispatching 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's always great to get a notification from you, Paul, and your team. You all are amazing! I love watching your videos and the Witch Trials episodes are incredibly interesting. It's fascinating to think that our ancestors didn't care about the truth and accused people of being witches for any little mistake. Wow!
Gobble gobble
@@JayPea-lk5rt lol whatever your own pass it over here my friend 🍺 cheers
A whole hour and more! Oh joy! Thank you, I've been watching the Post Office/Horizon Enquiry and need something to lighten the mood.
I was totally absorbed in your tales but my favorite was at the end with the dogs…Nice touch! Thank you🌹
If ever there was a candidate to replace the original Unsolved Mysteries host, Robert Stack, it's this guy. Love his presentation and cadence. 👏
More please. Thank you for all the videos. I enjoy them very much. These compilations are fantastic, too. I enjoy them with some good cognac or therapeutic herbs. 😊
Always look forward to your shows 🇨🇦❤️
Thanks for the upload, Paul!
Do yourself a favour people, this is a great channel
Thankyou Paul. Have a good weekend. 🖤🖤
Just recently found your channel. Absolutely loving your material and how you present it. Well done and looking forward to more content.
From the horrendous to the heartwarming - thanks! (Esp the re-enactment of Monmouth's execution! 😂)
Love your work so much (and not just because you're a fellow Scot!) Got to say though, I'm in absolute floods of tears right now after your finishing "dog section". Thank you so much for the effort that you put in to educating us, it does not go unappreciated x
Oh absolutely perfect timing, I’m about to go for a walk and was looking for something to listen to. Thank you!! 🤩
I'd be hesitant to listen to Paul while walking at night. I'd get lost in the story and end up over the state line 😁
This channel is god's gift to insomniacs everywhere. My spinning cerebellum thanks you xxx
I love this channel and love your voice. I liked when you laughed
Thank you, your presentations are excellent!
Just great to end the week. Love your videos. When you laugh I laugh. I am serious during most of the vidios.
this was such a wonderful history video. thank you for this, it was a great thing to listen to, and i love hearing these history stories
I love these long videos of just random interesting stories throughout history and I'd love to see more like this
A fantastic way to start a Friday morning. Thank you for another great history lesson 😊
Yeah. New video!
The story of the S.S. Princess Alice is so chilling.
Yesss my favourite moment of the day❤ compilations of your videos is even better😮
You are like a cool grandpa that tells stories, like a male version of Old Nan from Game of Thrones, also I don't often see you break character but I like that you are able to do so only to then depict the horrendous stories again 😊
As always totally enjoyable and educational. I love your outtakes. Please show more.
Would love to hear more about inventions
That was great! Thank you
Love the doggy stories. Thank you.
Love your content! Great stuff! Keep it up my well dressed friend 😊
I love history so it's interesting happy to find this channel
Love your narrative, great story teller 😊
I've always called it Duct Tape for wrapping around ans sealing ducting . So there you go!
Brilliant as ever Paul. Thankyou.
Fabulous, thank you Paul 😊
Hey Paul, How surprised was I to hear your dulcet tones! Throwback to my Lexmoto days! Glad to see things are going well for you and the Redbit team. Looking forward to a Well I Never on the Honda Cub!
Mr. Brodie, I would like to make another video request if you please.
I recently read about the murder of the actor William Terris by fellow actor Richard Prince, who was jealous of him. It happened in the 19th century.
It's quite an interesting story. I have not found any good videos about the story and I think you would tell it to perfection. I hope you like this idea
I love your channel.
Much love from Brazil 🇧🇷❤️
Hello to Brazil from Illinois, USA!🇺🇸
