It's been public information for more than 20 years that the United States Navy has been preparing for the rise in sea level around the world, anticipating disruption to populations.

And its not happened. Sydney harbour weir level is exactly where it was in 1920. 30 plus maldive sea front resorts worth billions opened last year with same again opening this year and pacific island sizes have increased by 15 per cent. .
ANyway i bet your cool with the 5G technology they are rolling out. Cutting down millions of trees for phone poles etc . Your cool with that ? Cause its not mentioned ? Maybe tax it will save us ?

To consume the resources wisely would mean re-evaluation of what is the necessity and what is a super-plus , mass production for the number of needs and not for the numbers in banks although banks plays an important role in life as it is Nature and the planet are not a business , it means life under some rules of which no human is above and I mean no one is above the planet's rules .

I'm surprised by the troll deniers on this discussion. I guess this non-partisan organization "sounds" liberal because they focus on the truth.

    • @roberthicks1612
      @roberthicks1612 Před 4 lety +1

The science deniers are refusing to recognize that sand bars move. There is a video of an island disappearing, but if you look at the trees, none of them are full grown. That means the "island" has existed less than 30 years. What they don't tell you is that the area was hit by a major typhoon that summer and it washed the island off the coral reef it had built behind.
Yet they insist the bigger islands are in danger, despite the fact they are built up on top of reefs and not on the lee of them.
So, yea, when liberals refuse to use science, it does make it hard to believe their "truths". As Biden says, you guys are more interested in "truths" than facts.

An expert on sea level change with NOAA made a position statement on sea levels, they would not change, no emergency existed.
Despite being the most senior and experienced within the group they voted to ignore him and push the consensus that sea levels would rise.
The scientist felt this wrong and unrthical.
Roy Spencer was a Nasa scientist, tasked with a project meant to prove the Greenhouse effect using satellite data.
Upon conclusion Spencer announced the Greenhouse effect was minimal, far less than expected.
    The Greenhouse effect didnt exist.
Those supporting the CO2 theory criticized his conclusion and now ignore him.
What bothers me is the lack of honesty in the scientific community and the urgency to push this agenda.
About 20+ years agoi was reading articles posted by Nasa stating several other planets were showing signs of Global warming as well.
Nasa went on to say it was likely increasing cosmic radiation passing through from outer space.
    Then it became political.
There is your answer, blame humans towards political and economic manipulation.

Roy Spencer is a signatory to "An Evangelical Declaration on Global Warming", which states "We believe Earth and its ecosystems-created by God's intelligent design and infinite power and sustained by His faithful providence-are robust, resilient, self-regulating, and self-correcting, admirably suited for human flourishing, and displaying His glory.

As I have stated on another post. Creationism and Intelligent Design are more than religious beliefs. Followers want their beliefs taught in schools. Intelligent design is a pseudoscientific argument presented by its proponents as "an evidence-based scientific theory about life's origins".
US courts have banned the teaching of creationism and Intelligent Design in state schools.

Failed sea level rise predictions are the most hilarious of all the daft climate change projections. Maldives still not under water, they refuse to play ball! CO2 tax required regardless, thank you so much.

@Stanley Goddard I'd agree with this " I guess the worst are the fake climate change projections like "earth is cooling" or "sea levels are not rising."" but add alarm and false climate projections hurt the areas of meteorology/physics/oceanography etc too. I don't deny CO2 is up, and this will lead to some warming, and this will have consequences, some bad for humans, some beneficial. Sea level rise is one that has been subject to the most nonsense claims, and not just by the media.
Maldives claims are historically the go-to, but they still get air time now. The population of the Maldives doesn't seem to be listening - quadrupled since 1960 (when it was in the process of being sunk). I like science and am an engineer, hence why i get amused by "media-science" claims. No one can deny sea levels are slowly rising, tide gauge data is fairly well established.
