    Since 2015, Yemen has been consumed by an intractable, multiparty war that has created a devastating humanitarian crisis and brought millions to the brink of starvation. Great Decisions investigates the origins of the fighting, examines the motivations of foreign actors, and asks what steps the international community might take to resolve the conflict. www.fpa.org/great_decisions/

      Way back, as far back as Bush Sr. The US government secretly planned on destabilizing the entire region. Look it up for yourself. Look into Chaney's secret war to destabilize the whole region and invade 5 counties...and well all know what for...THE ALL MIGHTY US DOLLAR to remain the facto currency there & of course ALL THAT OIL!!
      I'm fucking sick & tired of hearing about the US's evil foreign agenda. Same thing with Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and soon Iran.
      THEY CONTINUE TO LIE TO THE AMERICAN PUBLIC, but not enough people are standing up demanding these reginal GENOCIDE be STOPPED!!!

      @@NoSoup4U2 The Middle East has been unstable since The Ottoman Empire started to fall apart. To blame it all on the USA is like trying to blame the US for Chinese Waste Management problems. • @NoSoup4U2

      I do agree of it's history of it's instability, especially with the Ottomans, but you are aware of the US's foreign agenda of this region aren't you? Bush Sr. concocted that plan way back when he was head of the CIA, but began to implement his plan once he took office. His son soon followed when he arrived in the White House. You might call it one of their black budget projects, the few are aware of. They used the long history of its instability as a way in to their covert operations. Every single rebellion in the region was funded in part or in whole by either the CIA, or thru the US foreign policies for the region, because of the US lust for oil. Don't be fooled Sir, look deeper and you'll find things you may not agree with, but are very true!!

    Do you know what caused the war in Yemen? The location of Yemen is more important than the UAE's location, and the UAE rely heavily on its ports, including the port of Jebel Ali, but if Yemen's ports worked, the UAE ports would not have any significance, therefore Dubai Ports Company worked to control the most important port in the region, the port of Aden, at the time of the former Yemeni president Ali Saleh and the UAE worked to neglect the port, but after the revolution in Yemen in 2011, the new government canceled the agreement with Dubai Ports Company, and agreed with China to manage the port of Aden, so the UAE supported its former agent Ali Saleh to ally with the Houthi militia to control the capital of Yemen, sana'a, to overthrow the Yemeni government, the UAE intervened under the pretext of toppling the Houthi coup, then UAE took control of the port of Aden. The UAE also controlled the other ports of Yemen and the Yemeni islands, the most important of which are Socotra and Mion. UAE also made its militias in southern Yemen calling for the secession of southern Yemen. These militias are preventing the government from returning to Aden, and so far the Yemeni government is in the KSA capital, Riyadh, the UAE has made Yemen in a state of chaos, famine, and ongoing war.

      There was conflict in Yemen, and the rest of the world decades, centuries and millenia ago, long, long, long before the USA (and the UK) became (a) world power(s). We so easily forget history, and remember only those years of decades ago.
      People don't investigate, don't read, and pretend that the world before 1908 and 1939 was a peaceful world, where everyone lived together in love and harmony.
      There has always been wars, fightings, insurgencies, genocide, empires, occupations, etc. The nature of humans. In evolutionary terms, we've only very recently climbed out of the trees.
      Territorial, protectionism, accumulation, survival of the self - often at the expense of the other.

      Yes Iran has the right to protect Muslims, Islam requires all Muslims to do so, Saudi Arabia is protecting a group of corrupt criminals, Saudi uses Muslims pilgrimage money to buy weapons from the US to kill Muslims. I don't know of a single Muslim (not Muslim dictators) that likes the Saudi royal family.

    • @jesusnieves1019
      @jesusnieves1019 Před 3 lety +2

      @Wilson Your arguments are idiotic. They come straight from the condescending American European narrative about Iran. I never said most people in the ME want Iranian interference, I'm trying to explain to you that Muslims have a religious duty to protect themselves and yes that includes the Shia in south Lebanon. Clearly you don't about the middle East. Israel invaded Lebanon and massacred the south and kidnapped Lebanese citizens, so Iran gave them weapons to fight back. Iran sticks up for the oppressed in Lebanon.

A few example to mention are Gadafi in Libya, Saddam in Iraq, Taliban in Afghanistan, Saudi king, assaination of Bhutto and her father and army taking over in Pakistan, pick up Indian history they killed their own kin to stay in power. People in Islamic world needs democracy and a liberal outlook towards the world and other Religions. But the Dictators of these regimes won’t let it happen coz they are greeedy.

    I can't believe this video accidentally or intentionally ignored talking about Al-houthi crimes in Yemen. after the Revolution in Yemen there were an election and a government was formed which Al-houthi didn't accept the election and decided to invade the Yemeni Capital and rule Yemen by force. This is what started this disaster. Until today Al-hothi refuses any political solution , and still sticks to the war solution. Yemenis and the Yemeni government will fight for their country and their freedom.
    It should be noted that all advanced weapons Al-houthi uses to attack Yemenis in government controlling lands are manufactured in
    Iran with Russian/Chinese technologies. Iran seeks to control Yemen to spread its extreme ideology.
    them trying to hide these facts are really suspicious !!
