@@Blackhankhill Khabib isnt fighting anymore, but a way to begin a counter to dagestani ground could be , 1. break the grips 2. dont let him get your third support, 3.fight the takedown from the first second dont stay stil and wait 4.start takedowns yourself we dont know exactly how dagestani deal with top level ground game on defense, since they all have an aura of being the best ground game on earth. look at alexander volkanovski he defended every single takedown and the ones that went in favor of islam he just hugged Alex and stale the fight

Dustin has really proved himself as a elite athlete. Something happened and he went through levels of greatness. He was a brick wall for Conor McGregor. Amazing heart and fortitude. He's really great.

Nearly 12min of nonstop bomb droppings on countless opponents.... This dude is literally a Diamond amongst Warriors.
There aren't many things in the UFC as exciting as when Poirier gets someone backed up against the cage and starts letting those hooks fly.... His combinations are so good.... He also has easily one of the best resumes in MMA history.
I dunno. McGregors bathroom assaults are just if not equally exciting cuz you never know what ya gonna get.

@@daixer3156 it's an MMA documentary that follows him and another amateur before got into the UFC. It used to be on Netflix but idk where to find it these days
one of my fav fighters. He's from lafayette which is where im from and ive been following him since before he debut in the UFC. His style isn't flashy or super technical but his timing and fundamentals are amazing. His understanding of the octagon, his boxing fundamentals, his defense, and he's not weak on the ground either. He's a pure fighter through and through. Standing with him is a nightmare

Like those defensive chess fighters like izzy or those flashy technique strikers like wonderboy, yair, pettis etc . Dustin is definetly technical in trades, exchanges, defense, angles etc. P

Dustin undoubtedly is the best fighter in the light weight division. Even after loosing against Khabib and Charles, he came back very hard and demolished Chandler. That's the prime opportunity for him to become a number 1 contender for the lightweight belt.

Yeah man, Dustin is always elite.. but it's different when he smells blood in the water, he's a whole different animal.
That's why I gotta give Charles the props for his fight iq... He recognized that Dustin would be real hesitant to jump in his guard, so everytime Dustin hurt him, instead of falling back and covering up or firing back.. he went straight to his back ... That's top level fight iq .. had Charles did anything but fall down and invite poirier in his guard, I believe Dustin would have beat him.. and I still think Dustin wins that fight 8-9 times out of ten..
@@TheRealSwampOperator brooo exactly this. And it makes me so mad, dustin was destroying charles in round 1. Round 2, idk what happened, and round 3 dustin just seemed checked out of a fight for once in a very long time. I wish dustin wouldve just trusted in his grappling a smidge to try and do some damage from the top position while charles was still clearly hurting. I think he wouldve been good enough to not fall into a setup and get the tko on charles. I was depressed after that fight lol
