We normally eat at Cabramatta and Canley Heights every time we go to Sydney. Next time we’ll sure go to Marrickville.

That is too sweet they leave a note in the bag, and give you some free rice and soup!! It's those acts of kindness and love that hit us in the right heart space too... and those are the things that make it easier to get through the chaos!!! Back to the Pho!!! What a great price, and great portion! We love that first taste of a fresh hot bowl of Pho!!! MMmmmm!!

Lemongrass chili squid?! Oh man we want that right now!! We LOVE lemongrass and then combined with the spicy kick - yum! Also appreciate when they aren’t heavy handed with the batter

That first place.. with the noodles...look so delicious!! Cafe Nho looked interesting too.. very trendy, and they highlight desserts!!! They have some nice options on the menu!!! Nick.. you looked like you enjoyed it so much!!

Niiiice, haven't had viet-coffee in ages! Now I feel like one lol smoooothe i like how you say that 😂 don't think we have tried thin steamed noodle, it looks really delicious! that name is so funny "eat fuh". That is such a good tip to share to have everything seperated. We do that often for noodle soup dishes. That's so nice they provide those free things. Really thoughtful! Helmi and her coffee!! Love the name Eat Fuh!! HAHAHAH... Bears favorite food is Pho!!! We would get something chicken, if they had it!! That broth looked so rich, and we get everything separate so we can heat it back up at home without everything being soggy too!!!

Can only reminisce when there is a lockdown at the moment... 😔 I actually haven’t been to Marrickville properly apart from getting the OG Marrickville pork, it kinda looks like an upscale version of Cabramatta. Ooft the Vietnamese coffee looks good and would be keen to try some of that out! Ooft the steamed rice noodle thing kinda looks like a deconstructed Cheung Fun from Chinese restaurants, yumm!! It's so amazing that you have access to some really great looking Vietnamese food there! Really couldn't agree more about needing to support local businesses as much as possible at this time. Btw if you ever get a chance, check out a VN dish called bun dao mam tom. It's the most amazing combination of flavors you will ever find but sadly very unknown outside of VN and most foreigners here don't want to try it because of the strong fish sauce smell...but honestly it is HEAVEN!
Oh thanks aaron for the recommendation. I did google it and seriously never heard or try that before. I can tell the shrimp paste looks quite thick so maybe not for everyone. But we'll try it for sure 😁
