How To Donate 60 Items to the Museum Day One

- I am planning a run to roommate Krobus as early as possible. The first step is to unlock the sewers so that I can talk to him.
In this video I attempt to donate enough items day one to have the sewer unlocked for day 2.
FAQ:
Q: How is this possible?
A: Out of bounds tech to get into the mines, combined with hellevator geode farming, on a seed that gives 5 artifacts from artifact spots and a low number of geodes required to give all geode items. And a lot of attempts and luck.
Q: Dynamic Seeds? Day 0 seed?
A: There is a quirk with the box that you enter a seed into when starting a new game, and loading an existing save. By entering a seed, then loading an existing save you play the existing farm on a different seed. Day 0 seed is the seed that is used when creating a new game. This sets up things like forage, location of artifact spots, what the dish of the day is, what daily luck is. These things are all present in the save file. Day 1 seed is the seed that I change to when actually playing day 1. This sets what will actually drop from an artifact spot, what a trash can will drop, location of ladders and geode rocks, and the contents of geodes. These are things that aren't present in the save file, and are calculated by the game during the day.
Q: Why don't you leave the hoe behind at the mines?
A: There are two artifact spots on the beach I need to till up. This is done after Clint closes, so I need the hoe on me for the run down.

You’re a museum curator in a small town. Your partner steals everything in the museum and runs off, never to be seen again. A random stranger who you’ve never met, who just moved into town yesterday, walks into the museum. As you’re lamenting about how empty the museum is, he takes his backpack off and dumps a bunch of artifacts and minerals onto the floor, telling you that he’s ready to donate *all of them*
This except instead of a backpack, the stranger comes in a blurred flurry storm of objects as he juggles all 61 items with a completely emotionless face
Maybe he killed the partner and return the stolen items back💎💎

The fact that this is not only theoretically possible, but that were then able to route it and execute that route is mind-boggling, and it's a testament to just how well you know this game inside and out. Exceptional job!!

it's slightly menacing that this is only the day 1 of a completely different challenge
I never knew it was possible to feel this tense watching someone play Stardew Valley,... but the artifact juggling and the juggling out of Clint's shop had me SO tense
You know, BlaDe is one of the most persistent Stardew players I know. I commend his tenacity. No matter how many times the game screwed him over, he kept on trucking. But I heavily dread the day when he tries to take on an insane challenge that is unfortunatley impossible.
Speedrunners - and challenge runners like BlaDe - impress me so much because of their ability to do the same thing over and over to get the perfect result. I'm happy to watch them do it, but personally, I would give up so quickly. I'm just remembering the time I came _so_ close to finishing the CC year 1, until I bought pigs a single day too late. I absolutely did not restart the year to get a chance at a Fall truffle; I shrugged and said "too bad, finishing the CC Spring 1 is a personal record anyway."
Yeah i could never be a speedrunner. I take my time playing games, which makes me a good youtuber, but not a very good rusher. @@pelahnar4
I could never. I know so many people who make jokes about speedrunners, because they only see the end result and laughing that off. But they don't see the effort behind all of that. The studies, the planning, honing skills and all the failed attempts, before finally reaching the perfect run.
I say it again: I could never.
Yeah. Overall speedrunners have more sanity and skill than most people would consider healthy. I could never speedrun, even less for Stardew Valley. Stardew is calming and tranquil, and I'd rather use it that way.@@blackharmonics4518
@@pelahnar4it's the mindset. Some people get so focused on a specific goal they can't stop until they know they can't do it, or they do it. I'm one of those people. I've never tried speed running as I'm not as familiar with technology and stuff so mine would be luck based, and I like long haul challenges more so than boring ones that in the end only takes a couple of minutes
The amount of work this took is insane. Then to put it all together in a one hour feature. Incredible. Chef's kiss!

No fr I didn’t realize it till I started watching videos like these so on my second run through I made a new character and it took 2/3 months in games to unlock the sewer and meet Krobus
i probably missed it, why didn't he left his hoe in chest and instead juggled with items?
@@vova_ike Because he later went to the beach to get two more artifacts, for which he needed the hoe
@@vova_ikeAt 55:45 he includes a clip of him going down to the beach to till up two more artifacts. I assume it wasn't worth it to try to grab them until after cracking the geodes (to save time), but he did need his hoe for that.

Krobus is a great room mate ; they take good care of the kids Penny left behind and are a great cook. I giggle every time they change the look of the house decorations. HowEVer ; i'm missing something that keeps me from completing the museum and am watching this to see if i can find out what that might be.

I actually figured out that out of bounds clip a few years ago in the exact spot (under Sebastian's house) that you used it LOL. Couldn't figure out how to get back in though and just got myself stuck behind a fence. Chair is such an obvious solution.
