Alright imma spam words in a description of the video to optimize the SEO. Minecraft’s Hardest Challenge, SmallAnt Minecraft 1000 Day challenge.
GregTech New Horizons Minecraft modpack Minecraft Tech Mod Tech Mods
I found out about Minecrafts hardest and most complicated modpack, so I decided to give myself an arbitrary challenge that would make my life even harder for no reason at all. This modpack changes everything, from basic tools and progression, adds a ton of new mechanics, and even exploration updates. This modpack is an extreme challenge on its own, and I decided to make this minecraft challenge even harder, by giving myself a crazy minecraft challenge goal.
This minecraft impossible minecraft challenge was really hard and took forever. 1000+ days in one minecraft world.
Minecraft is already a game with a LOT to do. There’s always a next project to work on or save resources for. What if you took that premise, and made Minecraft more complicated. What if you made everything harder, more tedious. What if you made the game awful.Well, GregTech New Horizon’s is a modpack that does just that.
GTNH is touted as “the last Minecraft modpack youll ever need”. With crafts that can take months, and whole new insanely complicated game mechanics to learn, its one of the toughest and most complex modpacks in minecraft.

Hey, anyone maybe interested in also playing this mod?
My friends dont play lot of minecraft anymore and I would love to play this.
I would have a server available and could set it up, I just need some dudes that would also wanna play it 😅
im down to play
I’d play. I’ve actually wanted to play a mod like this with some people for a while now.
I'll play too
i want to play but idk if itll run all the mods crashes on my pc i only have a gt710 and i5 2400
Please do that daddy 🤤
Terraria mods: "here is a laser sword that spawns 70 projectiles and does 400,000 damage a swing"
Minecraft mods: "bread takes 45 minutes to craft"
"oh and let's not forget this gets classified as early-game since harder modpavks make you make a whole multiblock prossecing mackine just to craft the ingredients for *the ingredients of the bread*"
Huge improvements, no longer a "Long tiktok" its now an actual youtube video that respects my attention! Thanks, also River of Despair went fkn crazy good choice.
Your feedback was even more helpful than I would’ve ever imagined
@@DjYaleHello! I would like to make my own recommendation in regards to a small but noticeable part of the video editing. It's mostly in regards to an editing trend I've noticed that has really saddened me seeing how my hearing in one ear is going out; the subtitles that would occasionally appear on screen are hard to keep up with. (The auto-generated CC + transcript tend to have overwhelming inaccuracies, and having to rely on unreliable auto-generated CC can be a major pain for those who need the feature.) If you are going to add subtitles to your video without using the tools provided by CZcams, such as closed captions, please try to adhere to the following for the best viewing experience that also respects the viewer's attention:
- When adding subtitles, try to add them throughout the entire video consistently and not only in short clips/bursts.
- When adding subtitles, please refrain from giving them pop-out effects, especially when subtitles are being shown in quick succession. This makes it hard on the eyes, especially when combined with the next thing:
- When adding subtitles, please do not only do 2-5 words at a time; it makes it far too hard to keep up with and too fast for some to read. Try to at least include one sentence minimum for each instance of the in-video subtitles.
If you are going to insert subtitles into the video itself, I would not recommend adding CC as well. the UI may awkwardly overlap with the in-video subtitles and cause some confusion or difficulties in reading the CC/subtitles when they appear.
You can also always have an in-video small, simple and brief line of text informing the viewers that closed captions are available, eliminating the need to edit subtitles into the video. Unfortunately this solution may be more difficult, seeing how CZcams disappointingly sacked the feature where the viewers could submit CC they wrote for the video creator. (I myself wouldn't mind writing the CC for those who need it, if you are interested in trying out this route; if you need the help I am down to assist you!)
If you are unsure if the in-video subtitles would be accessible enough, try re-watching your edited segment of the video with all audio completely muted and see if you can keep up with the words as they appear on screen. This is the closest you can get to emulating what someone who requires these accessibility tools experiences. (If you REALLY aren't sure, have a friend or two perform this test as well and see what they think about it.)
I really hope you take this suggestion into consideration! The subtitles you have in this video are not the worst I've seen of this editing trend, but the more people who start hopping on to more accessible editing styles, the more welcoming communities will start to feel. For those who have hearing disabilities, who are deaf, and who are unfortunately losing their hearing, it shows them that you truly care about their experience in viewing your videos, too.
Let's work together to make videos more accessible to those who need it! ❤
@@DjYale seriously, good job dude. i love this video and I don't even like/play minecraft that much. Also the music collectively was fire bro. Fire ass video
AH, THAT'S where i heard that one song!
Seeing "i spend x days to get y in hardest Minecraft modpack" I thought it's another better than wolves video, but i was pretty surprised to see GT: New horizons, you have yourself a new subscriber
Exactly, I love greg tech videos.
Hey man! Im the Composer for TdLmc so its super cool to see people taking inspiration from his style :)) (I think thats your inspiration i may be mistaken!) This is amazing content and I ope you keep it up! GTNH is alot of fun
You’re exactly right, Speaking of, what does a composer do for CZcamsrs? That sounds interesting
Thats awesome! So haha its not super common but essentially I write and composer pieces of music for scenes in TdL's videos, for example in "The cost of a bed" video I wrote the music from 1:16:00 to 1:24:00 essentially whenever he wants custom music or needs something special to fit the mood (Currently im scoring the entirety of his upcoming video :P) he gives me a project outline and I quote a price. Its super fun and a good break from the normal commission's and such I do! @@DjYale
@@EthanMooreMusic man that’s the dream, my biggest struggle recently has been finding music that fits the mood for whatever part of the video I’m working on. That sounds so much better than my process right now.
I totally get that! What is your process rn thats so painful? @@DjYale
@@EthanMooreMusic currently I make the video and all the edits I need to do, then I pray that I have a song in my arsenal that will fit the mood I’m going for in the scene and just throw it in there. I feel like I could improve my video quality so much more by just getting a better variety of music/get better at using songs for pacing but that takes a crazy amount of foresight with songs that are already made, and finding songs without copyright issues is a nightmare. Maybe one day I’ll be able to afford a composer like you so I don’t gotta worry about that anymore tho
When the 166-333 hour playthrough gets turned into a 27 minute video.
The minute I heard Gregtech, I knew everything I needed to know about the pain you would be going through.
> MineMineMineMineCraftCraftCraftCraft
this was fun to watch, not many GT fans ever touch GTNH so seeing an outside perspective was cool. I'd 100% subscribe if you made this a series
I think you got a bit of minecraft in the mod pack by accident
feels cobbled together
WHAT😂😂😂
Significantly underrated
Commenting to boost engagement and hopefully get this channel more views
Nice to see someone finally recognising the real hardest mod pack in minecraft, and good job setting an attainable goal. There’s still so much to this mod pack and you’ve just touched the mv stage. Funny to see you clicking everything early game when it really just sits in the background until you’re forced to interact with it, no shame, I was the same. 👍👍
Bro, this is an amazingly high quality video. Everything from the editing to the script and pacing is fit for channels with millions of subs. Please make more videos like this one, you owe it to the world.
and funny too. i found myself laughing hard at many parts during the video 🤣🤣🤣
we makin it into the industrial revolution with this one
just gotta say I love the music choice, scott pilgrim and castle crashers were like my childhood and it was super nostalgic hearing music from them
don’t forget Isaac and btd6
I did not expect to hear Lil' Darkie in the en there.
I was like an I the onely one that notist it
Whats the music called I forgot
It took me 582 days in unmodded Terraria to beat Golem
I know half the struggle something like this takes so props to you for doing something most see as impossible. Astonishing quality is found here bretheren.
nice to see people actually playing the most complicated modpack
Great video dude, I cant even begin to imagine how much patience a video like this must have took to make, and your a special kind of crazy for what you've accomplished in this video. Love the content
Great music choices and very entertaining video/concept, keep up the good work, old friend!
0:02 “Kiss villager on lips” 💀
xd
This was an amazing journey, thanks for the video big dawg, Love from Egypt!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Nice video! Keep doing videos in this format it’s very engaging!
Deserves WAYYYYY more likes and views then it currently has this is insane the amount of pain and suffering you went through had to be crazy good job you earned a new sub
yes
Super interesting take on this formula! Excited to see where you go from here 👍
the castle crashers music at 14:05 really brought me back. anyways, great vid man!
10:10 simple sight - piercing lazer is such a good song choice for this bit of the video. Great work! Can't wait to see more from you.
It’s literally the perfect action song, I’m addicted to using it at the most hype parts of my videos, and thank you!
This is like Factorio but ten times less fun and more tedious. I commend your endurance and dedication, you magnificent madman.
i'm playing nomifactory and trust me, it's way worse than this. This is basically child's play. Still commend his dedication tho
@@plaga5809 Pftt.. Buddy listen, I'm playing Mystical Block. By far the hardest modpack ever!! YOU HAVE TO CROUCH FOR SEEDS!?!?!?1 😵😵So hard.
This is clearly high effort content which I truly love, clicked on it by curiosity and I watched the full vid, and I liked and sub, so much effort, love ya
:D
Nice video! By the way, the NEI page for the world interaction upgrades mentions that stacking multiple increases the speed. You can get up to 5 stacks of cobble at a time if you use that many interaction upgrades and some speed upgrades in the last slot so it has more throughput. I haven't played GT:NH, but transfer nodes with interaction upgrades also work as auto-crafters (described in the next NEI page), so you could use them to craft the octuple compressed cobble with your current tech.
I believe he needs implosion compressor to craft his goal block
@@MrJetBoy718I see, I didn't know that the recipe was changed.
I think that's always been the case for high tier compressed cobblestone blocks.
@@RealDanteS01 double and maybe tripple blocks are probably obtainable in a single block compressor, but higher definitely not, the 8 times compressed cobble might even require not only implosion compressor, but also next tier of voltage, not even HV or MV, something like LuV or ZPM probably
Great video. I think you really improved on the issues I had with your previous Minecraft video by a significant degree.
Very happy to hear that, I know I can still use some work for sure. Thought this video was gonna be like an hour long after putting so much time into it but it just kept getting shorter and shorter from being selective on what made it in. Definitely helped that I knew I was in it for the long haul on this one, I just gotta get more practice with my story telling and being entertaining live/while recording so I can use more of those clips
@@DjYale Truthfully, I love the layout of this video.
I've put in years into GT:NH and I expected there to be moments where you would skip over certain parts of the initial difficulty new players run into such as the infernal mobs but was super impressed in how you provided a brief overview that gave it weight. Then, it happened again with the ore generation as you provided a visual breakdown of how things worked.
You did amazing work!
I know a lot of people prefer longer videos since they go on either in the background or another monitor. Personally, I don't really bother clicking on anything under 20minutes. So don't worry too much about that!
@@Krovah yeah my whole thing with this one is i wanted it to be closer to 30 minutes to an hour long, but I kept cutting it shorter and shorter to keep entertaining in my eyes. I still got work to do with allowing slower moments/silence in the video to tell a better story, but this one I'm pretty comfortable with being proud of in all aspects of it.
Thats actually really good to hear that you enjoyed it, one of my biggest worries was that anybody who played GTNH at all would find this really boring, since the pack is somewhat linear and im sure theyve followed the same progression as me at one point. Is there anything else you would have liked to see more of as somebody watching with a background in the modpack?
as someone whos beaten a different pack which is also extremely difficult (divine journey 2 if youre interested), this pack looks really fun lmao
divine journey 2 it's hard as balls but a lot shorter
You're editing is amazing! Kept me very interested every second!
Only 2 minutes in right now, loving it so far! CZcams recommendations are killing it recently 💪
yes
Good video man, keep it up with the minecraft content🔥
We really need a part 2 of this, your content is amazing!
Part 2 in the works rn, might be longer than this one. Really wanted to spend less time on the second one but I bit off more than I could chew yet again.
It’s gonna be a banger tho
Never wouldve been able to follow that quest guide lmao, liked and subbed
This is pretty good
Also i wasnt expecting you to put a random btd song
Bro awesome vid, fun watching you struggle early game XD this has also made me realize I don't want to play this mod XD
super entertaining :^) Keep it up man!
You thought you could sneak in binding of Isaac sound track AND castle crashers music without me knowing? YOU FOOL!!
Really good video. Amazing progress from the previous one. Here before you explode :)
Love this video so much, would really love to see more
the music put in this video is absolutely immaculate. love the choices. outro song balled too
This new style of video, with more detail and everything is really interesting, keep it up
Throwback to my childhood hood Cobblestone=Life
2:48 love it when people use btd soundtrack!! It's so nice
Amazing video, so entertaining the whole way through
seeing a non gregger takle gtnh is always exciting. you tackled it really well though!
What an incredible video you're going places man
hope to see more on this series!
Excellent song choices for both during the video and for the outro 🙏🏻
Very nice skin, the full dragon and klank's gauntkets go hard.
I can't believe I recognized the Isaac music. 1000 hours is to much man
you have an insane dedication man
The amount of dedication on this is insane, good job dude!
the world interaction upgrades basically add a unique interaction to the block/container the node is facing per upgrade, up to 64 (unless they've changed it)
also speed upgrades do work as well, they decrease the tick rate per action of the node
This was a great video and you definitely deserve more subs
the variety of OG game music blesses your channel W youtuber
i like how you play and all i hope you get bigger in future and see you in another grindy video
As someone who loves this mod pack I find it fun to watch others both fail a things I did well but also show me how to do things I failed at. Personally I'm still stuck in the stream age as I find the game much easier if you completely every available quest and build every possibly construction. Trying to progress too fast ends up with age backtracking. I kinda wanna hope back on now
I am full of admiration that you devoted so much time to record this video
Favorite "i spent these days for bla bla bla in mc". Underrated and entertaining. Also good editing👍
Now you should craft the octuple compressed cobblestone lol, Great video
If you plan on continuing might as well go for stargate :)
Also, i have some tips for this pack: Always batch craft (basically craft a lot of stuff at once), once you have the infrastructure try going for benzene wich is way better than natural gas.
Do NOT go for benzene unless you wanna suffer, oil chemistry on top, diesel can carry you all the way to late HV-early EV and you still get byproducts for plastics and rubbers
Nitrobenzene is hella good tho
whats the name of the modpack
@@Ryzkas GTNH, pretty easy pack.
Only takes about 6k hours
good music choices, castle crashers, binding of Isaac, etc, seems like you played a lot of great games in the past
A different mod pack with a similar style but completely different progression is
Journey Beyond the Abyss by austinsupercar
This creator customizes everything and forces game stages similar to sevtech ages, the modpack comes with a custom map and npc questlines
Bro these vids are fire don’t stop
quick recommendation, in most versions of tinkers construct, can put stone/cobble into the smeltery to get easy blocks to use to make the smeltry bigger
Ended up finding like 40 blocks for it in a village so hopefully I’ll never have to touch that thing again anyway
Finally someone sees the true hardest modpack
thank you for making a video about this amazing game
Would you ever do a full run thru ? This is the first time I've watched your videos, but I love it you must have put a lot of work into it
I would watch you play this mod pack thru 100%
100% of GTNH? That's quite impossible. I mean, there's the stargate which would take thousands of hours but that's not really a feasible goal for most folks.
"Some guy on reddit said so and I trust him with my life"
*Real*
Only 8k subs?? This is a really high level production video, very nice!
this is fucking crazy
it's nice to look back at earlygame while working my way towards uxv lmao
24:36 thats because the speed upgrade method was first found back in one of the original feed the beast packs
that btd5 soundtrack at 2:52 really got me nostalgic ngl
You should keep playing this pack! its amazing and good content
Most entertaining video yet! xD
Great video actually, I am not following to much minecraft youtuber except of Indonesian Minecrafter, but your video remind me of one Indonesian Minecraft Hardcore youtuber Rianiayan, that was great and enjoyable.
Keep it up.
"Minecraft's msot complicated modpack"
Here we go yet another better than wolves or even rlcraft video...
wait.. it's gtnh???
Finally.
full time real life engineers gon fuck with this one
Downloading modpack now (student but still)
Finally someone playing the actual hardest pack
''kiss villager on lips''💀💀
Great outro song choice!
love the btd 6 music in the background
I'm suprised you only have 5k subs (even if it is 10 away from 6k), your content is great and I wish you luck.
A Great video dude!!!
Love the Bloons tower defense music in the back
24:32 admittedly it's been a long time since I played GTNH so I can't recall how relevant cobble genning is in there but normally for cobble gen tutorials you'd go to sky factory and the like.
I didn't have sound on in the beginning and saw the Gregorious Logo and knew you we're in for the long haul
now combine this modpack with better than wolves and then youve got hell :D
You're saying it's hard to play this mod, now think about those who had to remeber about every single one of the little features and mechanics just to make it work
Now imagine combining this with Better Than Wolves
Nice Btd battles music at the start
you want a modpack where you really are gonna spend 1000 days getting a single block of cobblestone?
garden of grind is for you my friend, it's gregtech new horizons pushed to its absolute limits so that you can complete it on a "skyblock" world
the twist is you dont even get the starting island, you spawn in the void
good luck figuring that one out
i'd genuinely be amazed to see anyone record a playthrough of that
hearing darkie in the same video that uses repentance AND castle crashers music. hell yeah
wait until he finds out about better than wolves
This modpack reminded me about factorio modpacks like Pyanadon or Bob&Angel… To progress through factorio you need to make very complicated science packs, not just craft something what is kind of pain in the ass.
love gtnh content
