Tbf i also use both the recipe book and jei for 1.12+ because the recipe book shows just the things i can craft

I’m currently playing 1.7.10 NEI is the only one for that version to my knowledge and it keeps me sane
If you're doing another ProjectE speedrun that's >1.14, consider trading wheat with a farmer villager for emeralds, wheat is really cheap and trading it for emeralds is OP!

Also, your powerflower can be far more effective:
Put the alchemical chest down, then on each side and the top (leaving bottom exposed for access) you add the relay. Then on each side of the relay (bottom optional as only Mk3 will work effectively) put the condenser. Finally cover it all in glowstone, that's gonna net you the best power flower you can make. Total is 5 relays and 17 condensers with probably half stack of glowstone

been so long since I've seen an old school power flower.
almost all packs with ProjectE in it also come with the ProjectEX addon, which adds a server TPS friendly version of the old school power flower which beams the EMC directly to your bank in a single block instead of a whole flower setup.
Yeah the addons for mods can get pretty op really fast :)
i like this mod, simply having the philosopher's tablet is a huge game changer no matter how little or big amount of mods you use

@@buttsagonton101 In my mod pack in order to make 1 iron tool you need to play like 10 hours for tool forge like 20 hours so having this mod is a modpack killer for some advancent technic mods,with this video again I remember why this mod pack was so op and I understand why modpack makers dont put this mod on their modpacks :D last time I played this mod was like 8 years ago
you forgor the most important item "the transmutation tablet", its basically a transmutation table that fits in your pocket, also I'd try to do a speed-run with "ProjectEX" and addon mod for ProjectE, that makes the glowstone antimatter relay stuctures you build to farm emc into a single block that just passively adds the emc directly to your bank account, plus they come in several tears. The max tears you can generate trillions of emc per second. and If you do then check the config files, because you can enable the "The Final Star" which gives you infinite emc and when placed on a pedestal will dupe any item thrown on the ground (if i remember)

I would use the mods project E and project expansion and easy villagers for very fast speedrunning
I can do a speedrun see how long it takes me to get 999 trillion emc my guess is it would take like 2 or so hours if I go for the final star it would be dependent on wither skelly drops if I can get the skulls
also a repair talisman which repairs tools automatically (at one 1 durability per second while not in use)
The mod where you get to roleplay as Elon Musk with his emerald mines 👌
interesting mod
So a couple tricks to make this more efficient: do the sides and backs of a condenser, not just the top right relays collectors and glowstone(leave just the 1 block tunnel to access the inventory). Don't forget to sandwich your collectors and pedestals to get the most bang for your buck, and you'll have a great time.

villager trading is actually one of the best early game moneymaker once you made the energy condenser

The chest can be Powered from every side, so you could power 4 more sides and still acces it ^^

There is an item that will autoconvert low emc items to higher once when you pick them up, you can blacklist things like gunpowder so it wont convert that but all the cobblestone will be converted up. Makes collecting for mining early on much easier too.

I had a dupe on my server where I had 2 philosopher’s stone at 0 durabilty. I put it in my crafting inventory to create one with more durability. However, this didn’t remove the original philosphers stone and I just sold the output.
It worked extremely well with Masa’s Item Scroller Mod.

My method for maximizing EMC gain.
Make the tablet, deposit trading materials, make 2nd tablet and deposit it, trade villagers... infinite emeralds.
I've tried emc collectors, but you only get what, only 22 emc/second seems low compared to trading.
I didn't know how pedestals worked, it seems really good if you can keep expanding it instead of having to wait so long.
If doing the mining route, keeping a tablet with you, gives you infinite inventory. Easiest solution to the inventory issue Minecraft has.
i didn't know you could right click away trees, that's crazy. Never figured out the tools and watches too.
Its such a cool mod so much to learn :)
FYI the left panel of the transmutation table is for learning things without burning them into EMC

playing with the mod is fun but the bad thing in my experience is that the fun ends really fast, once you get a bit of emc you can easily farm infinite amounts of it and then its just basically creative mode from that point on.

You can fly with just swiftwolf’s rending gale. It runs out of power without a Klein star battery but you can make one really early

If you do a rerun i would recommend to transmutate the transmutation table and take it on your mining trips as it is universal

Project E is one of my favorite mods just because of how easy it makes crafting. Just put the item in the table and give it enough EMC, no need for complex, multi-layered crafts

On me and my friends modded server, I discovered that the anvils from Tinkers Construct are unreasonably valuable in terms of EMC. Without many extra mods, bronze is made by alloying Copper and glass in the foundry. 3 bronze blocks and 4 seared bricks give you the Tinkers anvil (bronze top), and any version of the tinkers anvil gives 150,000. Per Anvil. Bronze being what I believe to be the cheapest option. So with my fat noggin i made a tinkers anvil factory with the create mod. I now have just about 300,000,000 EMC.

Consider taking wool, transmuting it into blue wool, and selling
White wool is 64 and blue wool is worth 64+lapis in the older versions
Newer startegies are to just get klein stars and load them with light, then sell and buy until you get the best one - then you make knowledge book and you got everything (Knowledge book is only available after changing config)

when you make your transmutation table, make a second one so you can emc it and carry a stack around with you everywhere, then you dont have to go all the way back to your base just to emc your loot

Technically a mod review
This was the first mod I played in Minecraft, back in the 1.2.5, along with RedPower 2. Man, those were the days... Although apparently it somehow engraved in a deep layer of my mind the correct way to build a power flower and that wasn't it hahahaha
You were supposed to place the energy relays in all but one face of the chest (usually the bottom one, more efficient that way!) and glowstone just on top of the accumulators, I think?
I like the concept of a Project E speedrun, I might try to beat your time! Great video!

the swift wolfs rening gale also gives creative flight for fuel for which you can also use the condensed versions of coal to not have to store a shit ton of emc lol

Equivalent exchange is kinda boring by itself without any other mod with expensive crafting requirements installed because all you need to do is make emc and then once you have enough power flowers and watches on pedastals you print emc and then when you have enough you craft the gem armor, a red morningstar, and a katar then there's nothing else to do. Also void ring in alchemical bag = portable emc condenser while mining.
Yeah its pretty easy to beat :)
projectE is one of these mods that you have fun playing with whether its in a modpack or just single mod for the world

for those power flowers its the best to get high lvl relays with low lvl collectors
relays give a flat bonus so the cheap lvl 1 collectors are the best price/gain

About your red katar, to kill hostile mobs you'll need to switch on the "Kill Hostile Mobs" mod and then click on a bounded key that you bounded previously (go in your settings to modify it)

btw if you do f3+b you can see the range of the watch on the pedestal
also you need to click the primary ability button to do the death aura for the katar (I usually set mine to delete since it just deletes everything) also assuming you don't have commands or any other mods, the death aura is the only way to kill a person with full gem armor.

if its the mod pack with that weird Disney ore you get a ton of EMC from that stuff putting it into the transmutation table and just from mining you can gain a lot really easy

@@St3lthy idk what it was called but it added Disney ore and hats to craft with the ingots and if you mined the ore the drops had a high EMC value that broke the mod pack we were playing
i remember a dupe from back in the tekkit days where shift clicking an item in the bottom right slot of your inventory when interacting with a red matter furnace would dupe anything

And if someone steals from my chest i mine uranium until ti can place a nuke under the pressureplate to their house.

Ever heard of klein stars? 👀 Also, you should try press the change mode and other project e keybinds because the watch ot flowing time can be used in inventory (i found that out accidentally) also harvest bend with trees or sugarcane are very good (especially if you make them harvest grown things but needs emc fuel)
Ps: oh and things like repair talisman and black hole band(when active) if i remember correctly work in alchemical chest and alchemical bag so you can use void ring to automatically collect and convert to higher emc items (up to red matter)

, not sure if you ever plan to play with mod like this again but it's strange to see someone speedrun a mod without knowing any tips/tricks like watch of flowing time or the condensing thingy that can't remember what's it called. (very useful for eating cobblestone and spitting gold out of it but careful the blacklist/whitelist loves to eat torches arrows etc if you don't set it twice for some reason that bug been around for a while)

The Biggest difference is the caves update :)

I'm surprised no one in this comment section said anything about the tome of knowledge. that thing basically adds all the items in the transmutation table. I think the video would've ended much better with that craft

@@St3lthy you can directly connect collectors to condensers, and you can put relays on every side of the condenser, you only put them on one side. If you only have 5 collectors you do not even need a relay
I thought you knew about ProjectE Flower's concept. Look it up, it's pretty fun and cheat. In less than 3h I managed to get litteral quadrillions of EMC (well it was in latests updates soooo... ^^")

@@St3lthy I just experimented with villager trading in Project E and after giving a town each job once and mastering them(except for cleric because I didn't feel like hunting down a nether fortress), I managed to get over 4 million EMC. You could probably do better since I was focused on mastering jobs instead of maxing EMC gain.

If your doing a emc speedrun i really recommend turning a librarian into a zombie then cure it and then trade for ink sac the profits are thw best ive found so far
