  • Today I will talk about the Ways to challenge negative thinking, I have tried explaining it with the help of a real-life case.
I hope this will be helpful to you.
Let me give an example of a case scenario.
A client, very bright in studies and working in MNC, doing well in the job had a feeling of inadequacy. He felt that he is not good enough. I noticed that he would never appreciate himself even for achieving something. He would feel that it is no big deal, anyone can do it. As I tried to understand him better and explored his childhood experience I realized that he was criticized a lot for being thin, for walking in a certain way. All this resulted in the belief that I am inadequate. He carried this belief as an adult and would never appreciate himself for achieving something or would not feel confident about himself. Eg- when he started his own company he started feeling that he has taken a wrong decision and that he is incapable of doing things. So I used the following techniques to challenge his thought after helping him connect the dots of his belief and childhood experiences and how he can change this.

Hi, I liked the way you simplified this! :) One suggestion- the background sound is a little distracting. Please don't add it in the future videos...
