- The automatic throttle control on the power washer wasn't working correctly. Decided to pull the unloader valve and check for proper operation. That thing was seized up tight, so I had to get creative to remove it.

Perfect! I ran into that exact issue today with my Craftsman 528.752410. Wasn’t sure how to remedy it. I’ll try that.
Thanks!
Technical note. Camera placement is important. All the important action was hidden by that wheel.
Cheers!
Oh my lord, you are a LEGEND!!! Thank you!!
Man! Great idea! It worked like a charm! Thanks for saving the day!
Thanks. After an hour of trying various tricks I found this one. works perfectly.
Ah! Exactly what I was trying to figure out! Thanks a lot for your video / idea!
Thanks for posting this. After trying several things in vain, prying pulling etc. I found your video and it worked with in a couple minutes!!!!!!!
Thank you for creating this video I spent forever trying to get the unloader valve out watched your video and got it out in two minutes thank you
Fantastic!! I wrestled with this thing for days trying to figure out how to get it out - mine was really stuck!! This worked!!
This did the trick, mine wasnt budging. Super helpful tip. Thanks!
Worked for me! I didn’t have any extra large washers so I used a short 7/8 socked as my stack of washers and it worked like a charm.
Bravo. So very helpful. Thank you!!
I will never forget this thank you
Loads of thanks !!!! I am struggling to take it off right now , I will try this trick
Yes thanks for posting this trick. Mine was stuck and I would have never gotten it out by prying it. This works great!
Great idea. I knew it might need a puller but this idea is great.
Yes awesome! Thanks a million for taking the time to post this.
Thanks for posting this simple, yet brilliant tip. I have the same model as your and this worked like a champ.
Glad it helped and I appreciate the feedback.
So, I tried your method last night. Thought it was going well until the shaft snapped right off leaving about a quarter inch stub.
That unloader acts like it was welded in there. No movement at all!
So, I’m looking at a new pump. BUT, there are virtually no China knock off four bolt, vertical mount pumps. The OEMs are $250 to almost $400!
So… I’m looking at new pressure washers!
Hope to be able to sell my old unit, minus the pump. The engine is in great shape.
Thank you for this vid - w/out the idea to use the stack of washers as a puller, I'd have been stuck - pun not intended, but oh well.
I think this just fixed the $25 pressure washer I got @ a yard sale!!!!
Great idea!
Nice tip for getting the y loader valve unstuck! I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out a way and the washers worked like a charm.
I was looking around how to make little puller. Thanks
Thanks For info solved my problem
I knew I wouldn’t be the only one.
Thanks man! It worked💯
WOW,, thats a genius idea thanks. .😊
Thanks bro, worked for me!
and how do you know how do adjust the screws to have a proper pressure?
That is an excellent question, and I didn't give it much thought at the time. But what you could do is keep track of number of turns when removing the larger nut. Then simply tighten the same number of turns when reassembling.
@@PetesProjects0 too late for me I aleady messed that up because I had a really hard time to take this whole thing out. I removed both screws and the spring , and after I managed to take this out and cleaned it now is time to put this back but what is the proper screw position well I guess I have to figure this out, but first I have to finish my cold beer 😁😁 and I didn't had that big washers so I used an 18mm socket instead of washers and it worked like a charm. But my valve has no water stone deposit it's clean so idk what is causing this low pressure maybe it just need a proper screw position.
Thanks!! Really helpful!!!!
Any tips for getting the new one back in?
Great tip
Great idea!!!!!
Perfect thank you!
