I would seriously consider buying this jig - but I really don't like those big screw heads contacting the head when measuring up. Countersunk with cork etc over the top protecting the bow head. And why not s small block of wood with a hole and a screw with a plastic or knurled handle for the "rod securing device" instead the the bent over piece of metal? But for me it's those big screws waiting to burr and scratch the head wood / ivory silver etc. But please take this a CONSTRUCTIVE - the jig is wonderful in concept.!

Hi, thank you for the idea.
I made it this way and they dont get in the way really and I dont rub the ivory on the screw heads. I do get your idea becase this part of the bow is fragile and I manage it as such and avoid any nightmarish situations. Perhaps lower profile screw heads are better for the limiter. At some point I did consider countersunk screws but if they bend the metal sheet in one place and I have to readjust the limiter, it might be falling back into the previously made bends in it.

@@perfectrehairjigbowmaker1154 Thanks for the consideration of suggestions. The simplicity of this jig is good - yet solves some more complex issues.I can always change some of the fittings. Do you Ship internationally?

I do ship internationally. Write me at perfectrehairjig@gmail.com with your zip code so I can give you a quote.
I have been developing this jig for over 7 years, had made a bunch of prototypes, sometimes over complicated it, then simplified it and distilled it into the one you see now and I ain't goin back to the old ways of rehairing, no sir :)
