- Sky News US political commentator and Donald Trump biographer Michael Wolff has told Sky News the former US president is "headed for a conviction".
However, Mr Wolff explained that whatever the outcome, good or bad, Mr Trump will be delighted with the worldwide attention.

Normally a criminal convictions leads to jail. Imagine a candidate sitting in jail on election day. As Joseph de Maistre said in 18th centiry France, "In a democracy, the people get the leaders they deserve"
Back in the 1960s, i went out with a wonderful woman who worked for Bobby Kennedy. She said, paraphrasing de Maistre, that America always gets the President it deserves.

This fact is the sole reason Trump wants to be POTUS again--to tell the DOJ to throw this case out--Trump knows he will be in prison if Jack Smith can ever get this case to trial

I think the case ends as 'reasonable doubt' - insufficient evidence that prevents a judge or jury from convicting a defendant of a crime.
