    Thanks for visiting my channel, I hope you enjoyed the video! I started Caterpillar Cross Stitch in 2015 when I tried desperately for months to find a modern baby sampler my mum could stitch for new baby Felicity that would fit in with her simple, contemporary nursery. I love teaching others to enjoy cross stitch, running, baking fruit cakes and drinking gin!
    See you soon and happy stitching! Sally x

    Very interesting. I am now going to dye my own fabric. One suggestion. I use my sewing machine and do an overcast stitch on the edges. Works just like a serger.

    Hello! Most tutorials have an extra step to fix the colour (baking), so I’m wondering if you can wash the fabric safely after stitching

    Hi Jen. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Dying fabric is easier than I was expecting. I dyed a piece of cross stitch fabric with light blue and it looks like a sky with clouds and now I don’t have to stitch them - just the fun flowers.

    Thank you so much for showing how to do this - I have been wanting to dye some of my aida fabrics, but just wasn't sure how to go about it - Now I know - If I wanted to have more than just one color, would I have to dry each color in between each color dyeing process, such as maybe using a green and then have some pink with it?

    • @CaterpillarCrossStitch
      @CaterpillarCrossStitch  Před 3 lety

      Yes, I believe you would have to do each colour separately or they may run into each other : )
