- Removing Adobe apps is easy....right?
Well, it should be, but if you have deactivated your Adobe account, you will not be able to uninstall Adobe's software from your computer as Adobe completely overrides your operating system's native uninstall process.
Thankfully, there is a solution to this problem.

Forever grateful, I had so much trouble to delete a free trial for photoshop and after 3 hours of phone calls and tears I finally canceled it. I then proceeded to delete the files but it was not working and it all started again. But your video came up and saved me. Thanks so much!!!!

Adobe puts one undeleteable file in c drive and whenever I use pirated Photoshop then pop up came and wanted to me to take membership, that software I am unable to remove,
If I closed my internet then no pop up came.
ive had photoshop on my laptop for over a year and just dealt with it taking up 3 gb. Never trusted CC enough to actually download their cleaner. TYSM

Thanks this will definitely help. I dont have creative cloud myself as I havent been an adobe fan since they killed off the physical versions where you can just buy it once thats all. I do have other stubborn software that no matter what just wont uninstall like the batman demo that had malware drm on it. Ive been trying to remove that since I built the computer and im sure some of the programs you mentioned will do it. Its just kinda sad to see adobe becoming so user unfriendly. I had a great experience with lightroom 3. If I wanted to edit on another computer I just delete it and reinstall on the new editing computer the whole process took 5 minutes but now adobe has to have its own specified tool just to remove all their junk from your pc. It really looks like they are starting to have bloat problems like itunes had. Eventually its just not a few simple programs its this jumbled mess and the programs end up running sluggish. Im not saying thats whatll happen for sure but this definitely seems like the start of some serious software bloat.
It definitely has bloat. It's constantly checking the internet to verify your account too.
I've always liked their software, but I've never thought selling it at such a high monthly cost was justified.
I never asked for support and I don't recall many new features being added. I'd prefer they sold things like this on a one off fee with a small yearly renewal fee to cover updated and development.

It does override the windows native uninstall process, but it doesn't override booting to a linux usb and forcibly nuking it that way, because windows isn't even running at all so there's nothing to forcibly override. You can fix literally any sticky windows bug like this even if you don't use linux for anything else at all. It should always be the last option, but it's always still an option.
Just so you know, do this last. The tool does everything automatically. If you do it this way, you are in for a loooooong manual slog, but nothing can really stop you from doing it. It will just take a lot of time to do.

I want to deactivate my Adobe Creative Suite and install on a newer computer. How can you do that?? It mentions to connect to internet to deactivate, but while I am connected, the programs says it can’t connect, and stops the deactivation process. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Have you tried their uninstall tool?
Gotta love products that force you to install a 2nd product from the same publisher to delete them. No way I'd be sceptical about that

This should work for all Adobe apps.
I want to uninstall Adobe 5 software, then using my original disk, reinstall it. Reason is I have MetaRaw which seems to be a dead issue now. They will not reply to anything, offer no upgrades and so on - so I want to uninstall and start afresh with PS5. Will this work for me?
Im not sure about the process of reinstalling that particular version, but this app seems to be the best way to remove Adobe products.

Can you right click videos and open them in another program?
By the sounds of it, you need to change the default program for videos.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the video, but unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. Is there a current solution to the problem? The programs are still in the applications installed on the computer and it is simply impossible to get rid of them. It deletes the Creative Cloud and leaves all the other programs on the computer, please help!

I'm sure I went through the process once or twice to get everything removed. Revo uninstaller wasn't able to get everything. Only the official solution worked, unfortunately.

@Kevin Muldoon - Was the registry checked for Adobe entries after using their cleaner? Can trust them after pretty much hijacks a computer - I'm close to calling it a virus.
I remember checking in windows and Revo afterwards and not seeing anything, but I'm not 100% sure the registry was clean.

If they're stored on the cloud, I'd save them locally on your PC to be sure.
Killed my account two days ago and now trying the uninstall. Now that I've discovered how hard it is to get this shit off my computer I'm convinced Adobe is evil.

can someone please help me out I know this video is 2 years old but pls help me. I tried uninstalling adobe premiere pro and after effects from control panel but an error occured that stated "this program may be already uninstalled do you want to remove it from list" And I accidently removed them. Now they both app dont appear in control panel, nor in settings/apps and features and neither they appear in registry Hkey/windows/uninstall. I tried finding them in Revo uninstaller mode but they dont appear there as well. But there icons are present on my desktop and they both are running just fine.. Can you pls tell me how to uninstall them.
Reinstall and then use the official uninstaller 👍

Oh ok. I've not used the cracked versions before, but couldn't you install the cracked version and then try and remove using the official uninstaller?
@@KevinMuldoon I was afraid to reinstall them I just deleted all the folders and files and registry keys using revouninstaller. There are still some files remaining on my hard disk should I manually delete them as well??

I'm jsut going to format my pc. I just want to be clean.
So Adobe Photoshop stop working the other day the Nora filters said that they are disabled from Adobe. I spend $50 a month for my Adobe package. And I have 1000 photo photo shoot that I'm trying to edit and for it to stop working right now when I'm on a time crunch is unacceptable. I uninstalled Adobe Photoshop 2022, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud all off of my computer but there is a remnant of what it is telling me Adobe 2019 which I've never installed on this brand new computer that's only 3 months old. The Remnant Adobe 2019 is 3.21 GB and no matter how many times I uninstall it it will not uninstall then when I go to reinstall all my software even though I told her don't remember anything all my settings are magically saved and everything goes back to the way it was which is not what I want! I want to be able to reinstall all my neuro filter so that they work properly!
It's like a virus. It acts like malware rather than software that costs $50 per month.

adobe should be punished for this. it really slowed down my computer.
The uninstaller does not work for me. I selected to remove all (option 1) and then selected remove all from the list of installed apps (option 33) . When done if I reload the uninstall it only shows fix host file (1) and removes all (2)
But when I go back into the Windows apps and features I have two versions of dimensions, and 9 versions of Substance 3D.
If I try to uninstall any of them I get a message: specified product not installed on this machine. quit the installer and start over. WTF ADOBE!!!! It is worse than a fucking VIRUS!!!!
All the programs are still on my machine. Of course, I can simply delete the folders but they are still stuck in my registry like a fucking tick.
This is fucking making me insane!!!!! I have over 1TB, yes 1 Terabyte with a T of software installed on my machine and the only way I can completely remove Adobe from my machine is to fucking reinstall the entire operating system and 1TB of apps?
Seriously, this should be grounds for a class-action suit against Adobe! It is MY machine and paid for software but I can never remove it now unless I buy a new license to get to the desktop removal tool!!!!

When I used the tool, it did successfully remove everything. I only used it after trying all other methods.
I wouldn't use Adobe again.
@@KevinMuldoon The one I linked I believe is a newer one and it is terrible. It appears to be only for CC. You get two option repair or uninstall. It did not work for me at all. I used the older one like yours and it says it removed everything but I still have 2 copies of dimensions, 9 versions of substance 3d and I can see old vestiges of older versions of adobe stuff still on my system and a metric button of adobe stuff in my registry which I am afraid to delete. if I try toe uninstall any of them normally I get that message specified product is not on this machine. quit the installer and start over. But the programs are still in my apps list and in the program folders. I can launch them still!!! So I hve not fucking way to do I full clean of adobe from my system and registry without a full fucking reinstall of my entire os and over 1TB of installed apps!!~!~
It doesn't surprise me. Their whole service is a joke. Premiere Pro crashed on me for years and their support was non existent.
If I remember right, I had to reinstall programs to then remove them fully.

I took the easier route of just cancelling my membership. I wouldn't go back to using them. There's better alternatives for what I do
